Good for a mini trip with green surroundings. Make sure the weather is nice whenever you go . It had rained a day before I went, which made the water too muddy and the levels were high. The people working for the tubing service there are really helpful. They stopped one of the families from drifting forward once the trail ended.
Nice spot with boat launch, mostly people finishing their tube run. The trail is not well maintained, at least whatever I was on petered out into straight woods, but you may be able to find this nice little beach area within. Im not trying to blow up the spot so Im not posting photos, but its nice if youre willing to bushwhack. Or paddle up there.
We had a blast tubing on the Chattahoochee River & will definitely do it again soon
This place super busy, especially since tube rental companies use it as their drop off/pick up point. There are much less crowded points on the river that also have plenty of parking.
Very pretty and quiet place. Didnt like seeing that someone killed and threw away 6 pheasants in the trash there. Didnt harvest them. Just trashed them.Other than that.. a very nice park.
Great place to put in for tubing!
Google says Abbott’s Bridge is Open today and it is actually closed due to covid-19. We were excited to go fish the river and put the boats in but the ramp is closed. Please change the Open to Close so that others like myself do not make the drive. McGunnis Ferry Ramp is also closed.
You can use an outfitter to shuttle you up and down the river for tubing. If you have a kayak or small boat this is a great boat ramp to use for taking out or putting in. Parking is good but crowded in the summer. They have a pavilion for lunch breaks but no bathrooms.
Wonderful public outdoor area with river access.
Great location for a relaxing float on the hooch
Nice place to relaxe
Nice trail by the river to walk that goes I to the woods. Dog loves it.
Its a pretty good place to go tubing down the river. Yesterday was my first time and it was very relaxing. Just make sure that if you go you bring cash since you do have to pay for parking.
Entrance to the river is simple.
Ive been here twice in the past three weeks. Everyone should experience tubing at least once. If possible some of the branches needs to be moved to the the side.
Great takeout area from the Chattahoochee
Dont try to swim in the hooch mid-june it will be cold and you will be sad. On the other hand, the mud? Squishy, soft, a delight for the toes, family fun for all ages
Cuttos to the DNR. NOT HAPPY WITH A 5 DOLLAR PARKING FEE. WHAT THE STATE TAXES I PAY ISNT ENOUGH!
Great place to kayak
Nice peaceful place on the Chattahoochie River. Stopped here for lunch from my brown bag!
Nice place. Make sure you go here. Quiet and Private. Clean picnic pavilion and good clean rest rooms. Brilliant walking trail.
Sure this place was flooded when we visited however recent rainfalls have caused lake Lanier to be extremely high and need to be drained AKA The Purge people make a bunch of free money off the electricity theyre generating when do I get my cut of the free electricity at any rate it is very interesting to walk around we do not catch any fish
Some wonderfully huge and ancient trees right at the start of the trail. Much of the trail has an overgrown, wilderness feel even though it is VERY close to developed land on all sides. The trail is suffering from erosion badly and is relatively unsafe for little ones without supervision. Very short trail. For what it is, its a great little area.
Good
This is one of the prettiest water falls in GA. Bonus is that it fits all ages and all levels of physical ability. It has several hikes of varied lengths and steepness. You can also drive all the way to the top of the fall to enjoy the view without hiking at all!
Nice pavilion, picnic tables. Big open field, great for gatherings. Has launch/recovery for Hooch river boating/tubing. Clean, maintained. 4 stars only because you need to bring your own fun, theres nothing really to do if you dont bring it.
Beautiful park- soooooo many birds!!! Walking along the trail with various bird songs and chirping is perfectly relaxing- add in the rushing water from the chattahoochee river and this is meditation heaven. Zero car or city noise here!
The river is very relaxing and therapeutic going down the river.
Great place to come and be at peace and chill by the river and catch some fish
Nice.
Theres not a lot here. One picnic pavilion, a boat ramp and no restrooms. This area is primarily a boat launch and pick up point for some of the tubing companies. There are better spots up and down the river for hiking, picnics, fishing, etc
The fishing and access are great. However the float tubers take over the ramp and make it hard to launch a kayak or boat.
Great easy access to the Chattahoochee River.
Fun place, lots of room for everyone!
Great place to have some relaxing fun!
This trail is only for winter when poison ivy has died down or if you are wearing long pants. It’s very narrow, very overgrown and much of the vegetation is poison ivy. If you are wearing shorts, it’s nearly impossible even with extreme care and slowness to avoid it. I feel the parks service has somewhat dropped the ball here. I’ve hiked most Chattahoochee river trails and none is as narrow as this one. The solution is not to take out the poison ivy but to widen the path. I had to turn back after a while.
Easily accessible, nice area. I came for tubing, and my only request would be better signage. If you are driving in to Rogers Landing for the first time, it can be confusing. Theres a little dog park on the right, and the launch point is behind a parking lot further in on the left. I didnt see any signs, but I was able to follow others there. There is a restroom facility in the parking lot. The lot is a small - medium sized gravel drive.
Great place for amateur radio
Nice little ramp. Went tubing that day. Someone was there to help tubers in and out. Was not crazy busy. Very quiet and pretty.
Its used as a put in and take out for boats and tubers mainly. Theres a bathroom but not much else. The water is deep and its rocky on either side so you cant really hang out in the water.
It was really fun and peaceful
Good place to visit at lunch to either sit in your vehicle or under the pavilion and relax. There is a short trail along the river and a boat ramp to launch or land boats and rafts.
Wonderful relaxing
Why pay 10 dollars to go tubing when you can come here fam
I was here river tubing. Great time.
Itvtiok a long time to wait
Rafts sell out fast, plenty of tubes
Very crowded. If you go down the river here you will certainly not be alone. Likely to bump into many other rafters. Literally
Very cool spot!
Great entry point for tubing.
Nice place to bring your lunch on a nice day
We love to kayak here
Not the prettiest of the parks in the CRNRA, but it offers one of the best boat ramps, clean bathrooms and nice fields to toss a Frisbee.
Nice little fishing spot for young kids.
Nice clean and protected area
Great access point for fly fishing on the hooch
Great time
Variety of birds but it is a little hard to find the trail
Great Chattahoochee River Access and Park.
Fun tubing
Great launch point for kayaking
Hit a rock and sunk my boat
Great
Perfect
Great place
Road into park needs pot holes filled in.
Wow.
Awesome
Just okay
Safe
Walked thru it after tubing trip
Fun and relaxing
Trail is not maintained
Boat lunacy
