First time here. I can only review the general grounds and the portion if the walking trail that i used. But it appears there are many things to do here and I would suggest checking the website out. The areas that I saw were beautifully maintained. There are a lot of farm buildings and old farm equipment. It also looks like theres a community garden. The walking trail is paved and takes you through beautiful wooded areas that include streams and open meadows. If you are older and have bad knees like me, be advised that in one of the directions there is a fairly steep hill to walk down which takes you to a nice flap loop. Unfortunately youll have to go back up that hill to return. I did it, but it was slow going. There seem to be other trail options so itd be worth researching it a bit before you go, unlike me who just showed up and guessed. Worth the visit.

This is a great place to take pictures, walk, enjoy nature, even get your running miles in! Very peaceful and educative if you take the time to read the many displays around the complex. Is like taking a step back in time when rural life was the norm in this area.

Loved this park! Maybe it’s because we saw six deer. No photos of deer because they were well camouflaged. But very clean. Nice paved paths. Small creek. Farmhouses. Playground. Small and large dog enclosed areas. Picnic tables and benches throughout. Even a couple of dispersed swings. Such a gem. Felt like a state park almost. Definite must visit for a nice afternoon.

This was the perfect setting for my daughters senior pictures. She wanted a rustic, country cottage feel to her pictures. There is a lovely bridge, a barn, house, field and other field buildings that made a scenic backdrop to her pictures. It wasnt crowded for a Friday afternoon, but many were there to walk the trails. Leashed dogs are allowed. She wanted them in her picture. The grounds were well maintained and clean.

I love to go here to walk. You can rent out some The Pavilions. Its a good place to walk your dog with two dog parks and nature trails. There always seems to be families using the park and the elderly people that are walking for their health.

I really enjoy this park. There are several hills that take you all over the old farm on a paved pathway. There are also some wooded/dirt trails to explore along the way. On the upper side of the farm, there is a playground for kids, and a fenced in area for dogs; a large breed and small breed section. Its all very shaded with areas to sit down along the way and take in natures beauty. If you have some time, explore the old farm house and signage explaining the history of the farm. Great educational component for kids and visitors alike.

This was a great experience with my husband. The trails are beautiful, there were a lot of people but plenty of space to keep your distance. We saw a ton of butterflies, dragonflies, cute deer, turtles, fish! We walked here for hours. It would be a great place to picnic. We will definitely be back!

This is one of my top 3 Gwinnett County parks. Absolutely enjoyable each and every time! The paved trails offer so many different levels of exercise no matter your fitness level. You are surrounded by nature (highly possible to see deer), history and the beauty surrounding you. Comfortable, safe and a very popular park. Give it a chance.... you will be thoroughly surprised!

If there is a more beautiful walking park in Georgia than McDaniel Farm, Ive yet to see it. McDaniel Farm Park is the jewel of the Gwinnett Parks & Rec system. The creeks are restored and clean for the children to play in. The gardens are natural and not overly manicured. The old farm buildings are rustic but not dilapidated. A treasure.

Such a charming park! This park has 3 miles of dirt and paved trails; its bigger than it looks. Theres a furnished farmhouse, blacksmith shed, carriage and tenant house located here. There are little streams, gardens, and bridges as well.Towards the other end of the trail, theres a new playground and dog park. The pavilion is complete with bathrooms for use. Plenty of parking at both entrances. Second entrance is off of Duluth Hwy onto McDaniel Road.

This park is a different kind of park. It is very historic , has a rustic appeal, and very relaxing. We went along a trail off the main farmhouse that seemed like a trail and stumbled upon a creek. This definitely is a park with a lot of history and some of the items left there like the pieces of a truck that looks like 1800s almost makes you feel as if you were in that era. Highly recommended.

Easy to find and plenty of parking spaces. We kept taking random turns and never got lost... trail always took us back to one of the main paths. The big dog fenced in area had plenty of space for multiple dogs. People are social distancing and you dont have to worry about overly crowded places. One of the best parks in the area... highly recommend!

Plenty of shade from the trees and has a lovely little creek running through it.Park has a bit of history to it, check out the heritage sign near the top parking lot off McDaniel Farm Rd-look for the house and garden to find the sign.Overall, I give 10/10 for beauty, maintenance, and light challenge for exercise.

If you’re looking to sit at the tables and have a brief lunch with family this is not the place because you won’t be able to enjoy your meal due to the bugs crawling all over. Worms, ants, spiders, and everything else that crawls is in the soil. It’s normal to have bugs in the ground i get that but this was a bunch of bugs, it probably had a lot to do with the fact that the trash cans were piled to the top which may have attracted the bugs. Nice trails and all but that’s about it.

Outstanding playground. Historic farm. Plenty of benches and picnic pavilions. Excellent and interesting paved trail design. Now the bad news: very poorly planned tree cover. The dog park and the playground bake in the sun. Extra money was spent so the fence went around the trees (and shade) instead of the cheaper option, which would be going through the trees (and would provide shade).

This is my favorite walking destination. The paved trails seem to continue forever, the forks in the path keep you guessing on the turns to take, the swings, placed strategically at short intervals are a nice touch and fun but relaxing for the weary. The walk does not get boring, the sound of the stream is music to the ears and all in all, a nice place for getting some fresh air.

This is one of the best parks in Atlanta to relax and have a picnic. There is also the historic buildings and the main house of Mr McDaniel where the farm was operational until 1999. One of the jems of Gwinnett county. The park is laid out beautifully in the middle of malls and stores and apartments. Bring the kids and leave the phones in the car.

Paved and dirt paths, playground, dog park and historic buildings. A steep hill separates 2 parts to this park. One part is the farm with historic buildings and the lower part has dog parks and playground. Deer are frequently seen. If you do 2 laps in each part you will walk a little over 4 miles.

This was my first time visiting this park. We were specifically visiting the playground but the park has lots of other activities and things to do. This is a really creative and fun playground for kids. I love the imaginative farm playground equipment. The tractor that the kids can climb on was a big hit and I like that it was constructed so that toddlers dont have a way to climb on it by themselves. Lots of slides and swings. It is close to the parking area and also close to restrooms which are kept fairly clean and more modern than most park restrooms. My kids are begging to go back. (FYI: there are two parking areas for the park so if you get to a parking lot and cant see the playground... you are not at the right entrance if you are specifically going for the playground)
