Honestly was a great place to visit and walk around. It is very quiet and peaceful. If you are in love with flowers you need to go see. You can get down to Lake Superior easily.

The roses are not blooming yet but all the magnolia trees are, the tulips and hyacinths too. Nice area, theres that area where you can watch and enjoy the lake too. With beautiful trees by it

Beautiful park on the Lake Superior. Great gardens and a big bowl to run kids or dogs. Great views of the lake. Have Movies In the Park most summers. Truly a gem in the middle of the city.

Beautiful flowers, by the water. I watched sail boats go by and a bride and groom have their pictures taken. That says a lot about the park

I go here every Saturday evening. You can go on to the rocky bank of Lake Superior and feel the breeze hitting your face. It feels so refreshing. A very calm and peaceful place to spend evenings with your family, friends if you decided to embrace nature. The sunsets are the best. You can get a great view of the Ariel Lift Bridge and the Duluth City Skyline!

Fantastic park! The path down to the lake was wonderful. I enjoyed seeing the lake waves roll into the rocks while I ran around with my dog. Up in the regular part of the park, the walk ways were very well kept and the gardens were so nice. For the time of year I went, the roses weren’t in bloom, but I could tel there were so many! Judging on how the other flowers were maintained, I’m sure it would’ve been beautiful.

Wed been walking in the park a little bit the night before but the tiny flying insects were too much, so we left and returned the next morning. The weather was beautiful and the park was too. We saw a lovely statue of an angel, a wedding party heading down to the water for photos and several groups with kids having a great time playing on the big stone stage.

Amazing lake walk with great scenic views. Beach access (small rocks, not sand), small trails and bigger walking/biking paths, and beautiful rose garden. This summer there are also posted activities taking place with live music and movies. Wouldve rated it 5 star, but if youre not into scenery and not there on the right day, walking is literally the only activity available.

The park is absolutely wonderful! Many, many benches to stop and rest on and just look at the lake. Forever walking paths. Great for skate boards and scooters or just walking your dog. Also access to swimming areas in Lake Superior. Large parking lot. Nicely landscaped. Well maintained and a beautiful rose garden. Wheel chair accessible.

Wow, dang, oh mah gawsh! This park is gorgeous in so many ways! The park itself is really beautiful and open for picnics, kicking a football, tossing an American football, or tossing around a frisbee. The lake front is stunning with wonderful boulders to rest on as the tide rises and falls. There are lovely small stones for skipping out into the deep. As well as a pleasant stone beach to take in he sunshine!A lot of people like to take there children here, which I think is really wonderful. I do get a little nervous as some of the tides can be a bit strong for unaware youngsters. If kids are out on the rocks they should be ware of the lake side as the footing can drop off pretty quick from the shallow shoreline.

This was a great stop. We were out to eat and decided to stop at the lake. We walked down and the water was pushing the ice up on shore, this was worth seeing on its own. The noise the ice breaking makes and the layer of ice over the rocks makes for a great little trip down to the water.
