Not technically a block, but a traffic island. If were counting traffic islands as blocks there are definitely smaller ones.
Someone on the city council must have had a sense of humor. This wasnt as easy to find as we thought it would be. Turns out to be more of a small triangle where there is an engraved granite stone. Not really anything else there except for the intersection of roads that created it. Good for a laugh, but dont out of your way to find it, unless you dont have anything else to do.
Funny little attraction. A good quick stop to break up a long drive but probably not worth a detour of more than 30 minutes. You wont need more than 3 minutes to park, dash out for a pic, and then be back on the road.
I mean, its a little city block. There isnt much to say. The Pokestop usually gives solid research tasks!
I love Dothan!!! But, they are starving for some public interaction. We have the Peanut Festival but not too much of anything else. A carnival here and there would be great.
It was a 7 minute detour and we took it. Its a triangle curb in the middle of intersections and with a monument declaring it being the smallest city block. Do think and youll miss it. Park in the civic center lot, otherwise, there are no closer spaces.I would not recommend a long detour for this attaction.
Ahhhh a great place to help attract tourist, very cool:)
Think small. Now cut that into halves, three more times. THAT small, and a triangle, so not a block.
Its kinda underwhelming lol. A funny thing to take friends from out of town to
I want to go there and enjoy
So cool to see..
Omg, this is the funniest stop ever. You have to stop if in the area just to tell your friends you were there.
User Rogue Trip is incorrect. This is legally a triangular block, with E Troy St on the north base of the isosceles triangle, N Appletree St on the western side, and N College St on the eastern side. Originally Appletree continued south from the apex to E Main St, but after The Renamings of streets in Dothan the point became Museum. A quirk of Dothan streets is that the N and S sections of Appletree, College, and Cherry Streets dont meet... nor align on the same longitudes!
LOL well here it is... The smallest city block in the world. I just ran around it like a maniac for a minute. Now I can brag about how fast I can run around the block.
What a conversation piece. Worth the stop!
Interesting place to take a quick picture
A bit over-rated, but fun to say youve been there!
Loses four stars for being a joke (its a traffic island, not a residential block); gains one star back for being a little funny, and a unique photo op in Dothan.
Love the quirky landmark!
Had no idea this was here
Well yaers ago back 1974 this is were the school bus would pick us up
Cute
Its small
Innovative!
Fantastic!
It was Awesome!
Its only a triangular shaped island in the middle of an intersection. The marker looks like a tombstone. I thought someone had died in a car crash here....
Very silly. But it is a must stop for a photo shoot if in the area.
