The Carver museum is an amazing asset to the wiregrass area. A great restored historic building, amazing eye opening content and a terrific staff. If you live in this area or are traveling through I highly recommend going by and checking it out. Check out their website for great events.

I cant truly rate a place closed due to Covid! Sad it had to be closed and had no options to still be open.

If you love history then you will love this place. And if you have a tender heart like me you will be crying way before the tour is over.

I had the opportunity to attend the Carver Museum and be apart of the #Money Moves workshop for teens. I brought my church group of teens to attend and we really enjoyed it. The kids loved the workshop that Desmond Douglas put together. We also enjoyed some history that the Carver Museum has to offer. It was a great day and the Carver Museum staff was 1st class...

Small but very informative museum. It is free and parking is ample, not a bad place to hang out for 30 minutes. The staff is small but very friendly! No need for a tour at third place.

Great museum !!! Very interesting subjects on display. George Washington Carver a pioneer in the segregated south, yet he gave so much and never looking for compensation . He gave from his heart for the greater good.

I have been a fan of Dr. Carvers work since I first read about him in grade school. Dr. Carvers work is highlighted here as well as the work of quite a number of other inventors that have made life better for all of us.

The exhibits were nicely kept just wasnt very many of them. The whole thing took about 10 minutes. Plus when we got there the door was locked and we were just standing outside.

When in Dothan GW Carver Interpreted Museum is the place to go for art, history and culture. They have many events for the community involving all. In Downtown Dothan you dont want to miss visiting.

This is a great place to bring the kids! Mine loved it and learned a lot.

Great experience for anyone who has not seen the accomplishments of these historic figures.
