My son and I enjoyed our day. The new slides and kids cove are awesome. We highly recommend the striped slide.

This is a relatively inexpensive place to take the kids to cool down on those hot summer days. They only have one water slide operating this year, the wave pool and kiddie section are nice...and the concession stand offers excellent choices for snacks and lunch items at decent prices.

We loved the Water Park an the New rides! Just one suggestion I would have to say is the Great White needs a float electric lifter to help the kids out for the ride. Kids had a Blast! We will for sure be back soon. Thanks Dothan for the update on the park an it looks great! #welovethegreennewslide

Very small but affordable. I really like the fact you can bring coolers in. I brought a huge cooler with food water and soda. We will definitely be going back. The price of the season pass is not bad but with how far we are away Im gonna pay as we go.

Movie night was a splash! 1st time my 6 year old was in a wave pool and she loved it.

Nice place to cool off.... If your kids cant swim they have life vest and also tubes you can rent for two dollars well three dollars but when you return the tube they give you a dollar back.

Great place for the kids to have a good time. Shaded areas and plenty of seating. Food and tube rentals too.

Good family fun. Not a lot to do in the park but for the price it was pretty good. Id recommend if youre in the area and looking for some water fun.

Our grands had a good time. Need more for the smaller ones to do that arent quite tall enough to do the slides.

Been several times, even as a kid, made upgrades througH out the hurricane and corona virus and I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!

We had a birthday party here but did not reserve the party package. We just used the picnic area. It was quite far away and was not able to see the kids in the water area from where we was thats the only reason for 4 stars. Other than that I was good pricing and the kids had a blast.

We had our 8 year old little girls birthday party here back in May of 2017. We all had a wonderful time. We were well taken care of by the staff here and provided excellent service with big smiles! When arriving, we were well informed on how the party would unfold and guided to our party table which was decorated very nice with a personalized balloon tied to the end with our daughters name on it. We were able to set the time for the cutting of the cake and ice cream and when that time arrived, a staff member announced over the intercom for all guests attending our party to please come to eating area for birthday cake which cut out us parents having to run all over the park and round up 9 little girls and boys. They did the clean up afterwards and even provided a cart to be able to load up with all gifts, accessories, and etc. To wheel to our vehicle to unload. We had a great time and highly recommend any type of big group parties here or just hanging out for the day by the pool.

Its ridiculous to pay 16 dollars apiece to take a 2 year old to swim in the kiddy pool. 32 dollars so we can watch our grandchild.

We love taking our grandchildren here! They have alot of fun and the food served there is really good. You have fun and food all in one place..

Enjoyed water world! Cant beat the prices, family oriented and we had a BLASTED!

Was there with the kids from church. The kids had a good time. But the kids said the life guards wasnt paying attention. A few of the kids after the wave. They were stuck on the deep in. And tried to get their attention to help get them back.

What a great place to get out of the heat! The facility and restrooms were clean. The staff was friendly and willing to assist. We enjoyed the man made tidal waves. It was almost like being at the beach without the saltiness or sand. I loved that there was plenty of lounge chairs and little arm floats for Toddlers available. When we visited they had already taken out the water slide. We were disappointment as my children were looking forward to it, but they left with smiles. Thursday evenings between 5-8pm they offered a discounted rate. We took advantage of that offer and felt like we got a good deal. The kids had a good time, expended their energy, cooked off and I didnt break the bank on family fun!

I was told I could not get into the pool without a bathing suit top on under my shirt i am plus size i told the manager that I looked for a bathing suit for about two hours and I could not find one I was in tears there was a very nice security guard she ask me if she could give me a hug she told me she understands because she is plus size also there was women In the pool without a bathing suit top on under their shirts thereWas women who had on regular shirts and shorts I went to the girl who was taking up the tickets and I told her that they needed to check the pool because there was women who was in the pool with just shorts and a shirts on no bathing suit top she told me a lifeguard would have to see it so I asked her so what you are saying is I can get into the pool until a lifeguard tells me to get out she said yes so I got into the pool with my son and a lifeguard came over to me and told to get out she told me that the manager wanted to talk to me I was very nice and respectful I got out the manager came over to me and was very rude and disrespectful to me in front of my son she was not going to let my son swim I asked her to please let my son swim I took out my phone and recording women in the pool with just regular shirts and shorts on we did not stay long after someone threw up in the wave pool it was our first time there ever and it is our last I rather go to Panama city to shipwreck island and pay 41 dollars a person than to be treated the way I was at water world I did not feel welcomed there at all

Great place for a birthday party

Its a nice area for children to play, but it is small and there are not a ton of options, as far as a water park is concerned. It is clean and the lifeguards are attentive. We had a large party here. The picnic tables and pavilions are large and well maintained

And I went down there and had a great time it was a good clean place well ran by the staff and the lifeguards were everywhere like I would want them we ate at the concession stand I enjoy our food the food was really good I would recommend it to anybody

Great fairly inexpensive outing for the family. There are only 4 rides but all have minimal wait times. They have a wave pool, the great white slide, a racing triple slide and a kids play area. Good way to kill a few hours on a weekend.

Only made a delivery there . Havent been there to use the facilities yet . But it looks nice . I would like to go there and spend the day there some time .

As long as Ive been taking my kids there I got hassled for the first time. All of a sudden you have to wear bathing suits to get in the water. You cant wear like biking shorts and a shirt made out of material like that. Ive never had a problem. They said thats always been a rule but they are trying to be strict and really enforce it. Memorial day was a great day for that BS

Very nice place. Wave pool,water slides concession. Changing rooms and restrooms were very clean. Park is very well keep. The whole family enjoyed or time there.

Should have sold us seasonal passes, we were only a day late because of just moving to Alabama and they never returned emails of previous attempts to try and purchase them online.

The main pool is fun for the kids but crowded, the staff were nice, and my daughter (the thrill seeker) enjoyed the wipe out. I was really disappointed that the long slides were shut down as thats what my younger son really enjoys (and I loved him running all his energy out climbing back to the top of the ride countless times). Also the middle aged kids who dont want to ride the wipe out and are too big for the kiddie pool have only one option, and the pool is that much more crammed. Its hard for me to call WW a good value now that its down to just 2 features that we use.

Fun place to bring family. Can be crowded and 1 of the water slides was closed last time we went. Food is pricey but you can bring your own food/drinks which is good.

It was family friendly. And very fun...however the bathrooms needs more stalls with toilets. Inside that big room was maybe 6 toilets. For the amount of people that was there there should be more toilets.

Weve been annual pass holders on and off over the last 7 years... This years season is already off to a rocky start. Completely disorganized chaos trying to pick up our pre-purchased annual passes and get into the park, flume slides that are no longer operational, and a facility that needs some serious repair and maintenance. If our family doesnt see some improvements before the season is out, this will be our last season... Its getting far too hard to justify the price for what theyre offering.

Great place to swim and take kids. Fun kiddy area with a slide and sprinklers. The wave pool can be a little scary if youre not an experienced swimmer.

What a great place to spend a summer day! Took our granddaughter when she was one and she loved it. Be warned, the sidewalks are scorching hot in the middle of summer.

Went on a Saturday, haven’t been in years! Use to be my family’s favorite place. We live in Florida and drive up. Visiting now I must say this place has extremely downgraded! While visiting the staff was so unbelievably rude, the lifeguards yell at other people’s children, they look at you like they hate their job, can’t bring your own floats, you cannot eat or have your cooler beside you while laying in chairs, my daughter had to walk on the concrete to eat her sandwich when she just wanted to sit by me and relax. I did not feel comfortable with my cooler being across the complex while I laid out in the chairs! They no longer have 2 person or 3 person floats for the great white slide, my daughter fears going by herself so she couldn’t attend this ride, the mat slides were closed. And lifeguards told her she could not play in the kiddie area because she was “too big” she is 7! (So rude! We raise her in a Christian home, she didn’t understand this kind of behavior placed by the staff, and the whole way home she complained she’s “too big” or “fat” All she could do was play in the pool. Honestly you get what you pay for. Prices are cheap but this place is horrible! Gone completely downhill from the years we always use to go! Never again we will be coming here no matter the “updates” they do.

Great Water Park

They are supposedly starting some renovations and adding some attractions, but in the meantime there is only one slide, the wave pool, and the toddler area open. The kids enjoyed it and for < $40 it was a great way to spend an afternoon!

Good for the price. Only 1 ride, wave pool and kiddie pool are offered. Good if you live in the area but I wouldnt travel (2 hrs) again for it.We didnt eat in the park so Im not sure about food prices. But I did see that coolers could be brought in.My most negative review...please change that carpet flooring!! It smells awful and Im pretty sure that was what was attracting the gnats.Pretty clean accept for kiddie pool areaBecause the area has shrubs, dirt and leaves right by the pool it was very dirty.

They asked about my top. I told them its a racerback swim top. They said its a sports bra. Actually its a professional swimmers top. They wouldnt allow me in the water anyway. One life guard verified it was a swim top. Three others said well you cant be in the water. I have never been so disrespected after spending money for me and my family to be there. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Its run by a bunch of teenage know it all punk kids. 10 minutes before that my kids had 10 taken by an employee clearing off their food on the table. My son returned to the table after disposing of his trash to find a kid clearing his drink off he asked about his money and the employee stated there wasnt any money on the table. Good job for stealing from a 10 year old and not knowing about real swim wear if its not a skimpy bikini. This place sucks.

Great place for a quick trip to get wet. Small enough that the kids can run wild and you still can see them

It was great the employees was eccentric!!! The chicken fries are off the chain and the Great White ride was exciting!!! I had a great time.

Water world isnt the same place when I was a teenager wasnt worth the price to enter only have the wave pool and the great white water slide that was available felt like I was a sardine in a sardine can that how packed it was in the wave poo . At the same time you cant have fun with out some lifeguard blowing there whistle over splashing your own kid what a shame definitely wont be back

My husband and I are premium pass members and we go to this park every chance we get. The wave pool is our number one spot to be. The lifeguards are for the most part attentive, there have been a few who we have seen distracted and like they have something better to do. The only things we would like to see are that locker rentals are included with premium pass members and more healthy options at the snack bar!This place is a wonderful option for those who are trying to beat the heat and have some fun!

Its ok since there nothing else to do in Dothan that has to do with water. Oh piece of advice make sure you have bathing suit because if you dont they wont let you get in the pool or the slide, they make you buy one in there gift shop.so you cant have regular short or shirt in the pool they will take you out. Its a small place and I mean the staff is niece but not much to do there...

The big slides were down so there is only 1 slide and a wave pool. They really need to build more for people to use. The food also took 45 min for 3 corndogs and a cheeseburger. Hope this place improves...

Only water park in dothan so you know nothing fancy but its something in a great location

This place was a lot of fun. My sister and I took our 2 kids, both under 2, and we had a great experience. The lifeguards were great at making sure the bigger kids didnt get too rough near the smaller kids and everyone was enjoying taking turns on the slides and floaties. The park was clean and well maintained. We will be back to enjoy the park again very soon.

Im not sure if i just dont like the crowd here or if its the actual place ...but you basically have a bunch of kids with no manners running around unsupervised while their parents look at their phones.Spend the entry fee money in gas and go to the beach.

Theres was nothing to do, tiny kids are a wave pool a water slide and a broken ride. That is it. Super tiny not impressed

The place was ok for 10 dollars but 1 ride was down because it was not safe and people were falling off so they closed it down. The other ride was working but when I went down on one of the single tubes the ride seemed unsafe and my back was all scratched up from ride and float hit the side of the wall and flipped over and hit head the wave pool is ok for 10 dollars is ok but lifeguards were mean the food was pretty good.

Dont waste your money. They are overpriced to not do much. We got bored after being there for little over a hour. It would be different if they had a lazy river or more things to do. Also not everyone can wear bathing suit and to harass customers about it and kick them out of the pool is disgraceful. I will never take my family there again.

Took my teen swimming. I had rotator cuff surgery two years ago on my right shoulder and decided I could use the exercise to build up my arm. I went out with a float around me and the wave started. My float kept going towards the deep end like sucking me in and my right arm was slipping off the float and l grabbed the roap at the end and let the float go...but every time I tried to hang on and breathe a wave went over my head and water got up my nose. The lifeguard stopped the wave and jumped in with a float board and pulled me to safety. Thanks for saving me from drowning. I learned the hand things need to be on top of the float. Kudos to the life guards. They save all ages from drowning.

This season 2019 the water slides are not open but they didnt ajus the price. We will not be going back this season its not worth the price . The wave pool is nice but they have so many rules! I should be able to let my kids hold on my sholders on my back they know how to swim and we were just playing.

We loved it .Had the best time .You can swim in the wave pool, go on athe Great white waterslide.Have a cookout ..We took our food and drinks and had a picnic.

Water World is a great affordable place for a family. My kids ages 5,7,8,10,12, and 15 all found something to do. I especially appreciate the fact that there are lifeguards at every pool, even the kiddie pool, closely watching and controlling any horse play. I also like the fact that there are grills and allow guests to bring their own food and drinks instead of purchasing the park food. I would reccomend this park for anyone wanting to have a great day with the family.

Loved it! It’s around 20$ to get in for two adults. The wave pool is the place to be! They have two slides and a kiddy pool as well. A tube rental and a gift shop. They also have food.. but it’s nothing to talk about. However you can bring your own food and coolers in to the park! We had a blast!

Great place to take the kids and not spend a fortune

I felt at first that it was very fun and small and didnt cost that much money, but as soon as it hit closing time that’s when the chaos hits. Literally when you go into the dressing room when it’s close to closing time, the cleaning crew are already in there cleaning up. They are spraying the floors with cleaning spray and a water hose and is literally getting it everywhere on people and the cleaning employees were very rude and were even trying to kick us out while we was in there. All I was trying to do was to change my clothes so I could hurry up and leave, but they almost impossible with them all in the way. From what I experienced today I will totally not be going back there.

Its cool since its in Dothan and you dont have to drive anywhere. But if they add it just two more rides they would really have something. There their final ride is super scary and fun and the wave pool is nice. I like the little bobsledding as I call it right as well but then youre kind of like okay now what you know? But for the kids it keeps them busy and the price is super cheap especially on Tuesdays after 5 so it was pretty cool and you can bring in your own food

Its pretty decent. The price is steep just for 3 different types of attraction +kiddie pool. Considering there arent many Waterparks in the area I guess its worth it. The kids enjoyed their time.They have grills and and picnic tables and you can bring your own food to grill and eat. Coolers are allowedMy 4 and 8 year old had a good time.

Usually avoid WW due to the amount of people here. Past experiences had people practically shoulder to shoulder in the wave pool and long lines for the slides. We have it another shot this year, and was pleased. We opted to go in the evening from 5-9 instead of all day. Prices were half off and although there were many other people there, it want packed. My family had a great time. Well worth the money!!

Not much to do, if it rains they dont issue rainchecks. Paid $8 and 15 minutes later my child had to leave because of weather. I hope they will expand and add more things to do for the kids.

Theyve added some umbrellas for more shade which is nice, but the long slide is not working, so theres only the great white, the wave pool and the kiddie pool.

We had a great time except for D very large waterslide. My son got hurt on it and was bleeding on his back and when I tried to ride it but it was impossible to keep yourself up in the air and not touching the bottom as instructed by the staff girl. In my opinion they need different inner tubes that are sized better. Certain inflatable sizes should be for adults and certain sizes for children .
