Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful. When I visited to look at properties there were kids running in the roads so you have to be careful. Still in my lease across town, but looking forward to the day I can run away to Misty Winds.

Biggest complaint I have about this place is the GIANT SPEED BUMPS they have ruined my cars suspensions they scrape everything under your car no matter what speed you are going. This is the complaint most people have. Along with Very loud Base coming from vehicles. My sister had her new vehicle stolen while parked there

Filled out an application to rent, paid $50 in money order when the application states it is a $45 fee. The office ladies made it seem that we were going to move into the trailer soon. They would call us back that night to let us know when...two days later finally reached them. They told me the deposit had tripled to over $3000!! That was just the first part of the money grubbing.They said the prices tripled because of my credit score. Really?? Mine is 739 and never had a broken lease or eviction.Have good references.Secured employment, guaranteed 40hrs.But, whoa, I have a service dog and they really didnt like that. Ask me inappropriate things about why i needed the dog, and for what reason. Then she asked me what does the dog do for me. Those questions were way out of line and i believe against the law. My experience with Misty Winds and YES Communities reminded me: they are a business after money and not on your side and not there to help. Deceit for a buck. Stay away from Misty Winds.2nd part: They called us back after i left review. The great promotion special for the management was over that required the large deposits but now the rent increased. I call the Residence Relations # left under my review. Left messages. I cant in good faith hand over any money when there is no safety guidlines to protect a resident/applicants because of quick change of policies due to unscrupulous behaviors and untrustworthy policies to con people out of money for their promotions and for their own gain.This was a very stressful and crushing experience. Hope now they leave us alone.

Weve had the air condition unit broken for over 3 months. Theyve sent people. Nothing has happened. A light fixture drips yellow water in the kids bedroom. It has ruined a brand new mattress. It leaks from the ceiling without rain. Weve purchased a window unit. Our electric bill is sky high. We havent been contacted about repairs nor offered to be reimbursed for any of the added expenses. There are young children in the home with 85 degree temperature inside. For the amount of rent we pay, its definitely not worth it. Let me also mention weve continuously asked for an exterminator. We clean and clean and have tiny roaches. Our stove vent stopped working months ago as well. The electrical outlets are literally coming off the wall exposing wires. Only some of the outlets work. We moved in after the date promised and were not prorated. The list goes on. Dont rent here.

Loved here more than 10 years, never had a problem, maybe a couple of minor things and when I say minor things I mean something like when is the pool gonna open up, and literally the next day its open. Great place to live and I love how kid friendly it is! Seeing kids play outside everyday is awesome to me!

The best way to be happy about living here is to keep your head down, talk to no one, and stay out of the office at all costs. Also keep your eyes open when driving because there are always dogs loose and kids in the street. I can understand a dog getting out once in a while but some dogs basically live on the street in here.

I rented a unit there and had to move out before my lease was up due to my job relocating me. So I told the Manager I had to move out early and was willing and able to pay a penalty for moving out before my lease was up. We agreed that I would pay 2 months rent and all would be forgiven. I also requested that he makes sure that I get no negative remarks on my credit report as a result. He agreed and assured me that my credit would not be negatively affected. When we moved out the place was in the same condition as it was when we moved in. Here it is almost six years later and I still have not received my deposit back or any portion there of. If you rent here do not count on getting your deposit back. It seems to me the Manager is running a scam. He prays on people that are in the same position I was and pockets the money for himself. He did however keep his promise that my credit would not be negatively affected if that is any consolation.

Steal everything, regardless of the benefits, share everybody.

I really like the way this property is maintained. Clean and very presentable. My girlfriend is looking to purchase a mobile home here and she is pleased.

My fiancé and I tried to lease thru here. They denied us because of a criminal background that was not at all accurate. I tried to talk with management after calling over 10 times with no answers and no return calls and they refused to listen when I told them they must have mismatched something because my report was ran elsewhere with nothing flagging. I asked for them to fax the report to me and they refused to do so in a timely manner stating they won’t be able to do it until next week at the earliest and the house we were listed to lease anyway was already taken even though it was still listed on their website as still available. Our family wanted to make this place home but after that experience I would never recommend anyone go thru them or their properties.

Like the location, grounds are nice. But no one ever answers phone nor can i ever reach anyone in the office. Wanted to park my rv there but could never talk to anyone.

Moving in was great 2 yrs ago, everyone was friendly, polite, etc. Fast forward 2 yrs later, rent raised a 2nd time (paying almost $100 more per month than when we moved in) told them we were probably going to move and verbally told them we would NOT be renewing our lease, moved out. Andy who did the home walkthru with me was fantastic, great personality, friendly, the property manager who apparently has CRS, said it would be a broken lease and we were going to lose our deposit, Andy told her I would like to speak with her, this lady legit had me waiting, walked out of her office, ignored me, told Andy Ill be back in 45 min and walked out the door without even acknowledging me! Called the corporate number, of course no one answered, left a message, if they make things right Ill update and change my rating, otherwise, I do NOT recommend living here.Update: after contacting corporate and speaking with the regional director, we will be getting our full deposit and he made it right, it also made him fully aware of issues with current management. I have updated my rating to reflect them making it right, however, Andy was amazing, I beleive the managers name is Amanda and she is horrible to have to deal with. I am very happy that as a company, yes communities and Monroe, the regional director took the time to listen and make things right.

Talk about a place that has no clue what theyre doing good luck moving in there everybody can say what they want but Im saying management needs to be improved a hundred percent never answer the phone and voicemail box seems to be always full it is what it is when youre in the trailer park. Also I moved out of that place but the one thing I went over a hundred times with them to take my account information off for the lot fee they said they did and they never did as they took money out of my bank account and it was quite a bit that was ridiculous thanks a lot Misty winds for the headache you put me through I shouldnt say Misty winds I should say awesome management NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Avoid this place at all costs. They shut off the water with you everybody else is complaining about too. They sent eviction notices rather than call you about any type of billing issue. Even when its their own fault. They dont care about you all they care about is getting their money. Its well worth it to spend another $100 a month and go live somewhere else

Theyre right. On thanksgiving night last year my truck was towed because my front two tires were in the grass! I thought it had been stolen. They had to drag my truck out before they even properly put it on the tow truck. I had to pay over 200 to get it back. Talk about ruined holidays. Ive lived here 8 years and the staff have always been unprofessional and done illegal things. Nothing they do makes sense. The water issue is so annoying. The new manager is still under consideration in my eyes. Not enough interaction to determine his status. :/

There is really no point in calling them cause they dont answer. My trash gets skipped every other week nothing is done about it. They dont consider that you get paid on friday after rent is due giving you a notice and yet can barly issue you a new filter fo ac. No point of contact is returned.

This place and its manager sucks. My friend and I were followed to her house and asked if she had a problem because she brought a black person to her house recently and her neighbors were concerned by her choice of friends. I had to overnight with my friend whom was reduced to tears and fearful she might be harmed by the neighborhood.If itwere me I would of had that ladys job.

We went through winter with no heater, They finally fix it on the last day of winter. My central air is not working properly which i reported it 2 months ago. We dont want live here. I also killed 12 rats, they did not do anything about it when I told them several times. They dont bother to fix the home we live in.

The new management is horrible. They are extremely rude and only polite to you when you are touring the park. Also, they cut off the water very often with out warning for long periods of time. They also push buying the trailer they are renting you every month. Do not buy from these people unless you want years of headaches.

I moved in almost 8 years ago good MGMT but new MGMT not good always sewer issues illegal screw up your car speed bumps... nobody in the office ever answers vm full and hangs up on you... office staff answers I have recommended friends in the past they moved out and they keep raising the lot rent I wouldnt recommend anyone move here!!! At his point the only star I would give us for the maintenance man David he works his butt off with the continual issues!!!

This place is an absolute joke. I would never suggest anyone to live here. The management is so unprofessional and the regulations are outragous. Any car found parked on the grass or ON THE STREET in front of any home will be towed at the owners expence. The water is constantly being shut off for days at time WITHOUT ANY NOTICE. It was even shut off for a few hours on Thanksgiving Day. At one point the management even tacked a notice to all of the residents doors stating that they were going to be ridding the park of eyesores. Meaning that they would be disposing of anything they found outside on the residents PRIVATE PROPERTY that wasnt patio furniture. What they are doing here isnt even legal! If my guests cant park in front of my home without their cars being towed or flush the toilet while they are here, what is my rather high lot payment going to?
