Well, 7 years and counting. I never thought I’d ever be in a trailer, however after on whim thought I’d check one out. It was 3xs the size of the place I was living and the seller couldn’t have been more friendly and the almost 2000sq ft double looked brand new. I was in love with the place and had no idea trailers even looked that way. Great starter home’s or even long term. Right next to the beach and the highly sought after flour bluff school district. Management can be strict but if not...go ahead and check out some of these other mobile home parks in flour bluff and ya might just come to understand and appreciate why there is a standard on the way your home should look. After recently visiting a friend in another park I completely understood. That being said, it’s without question it is the cleanest, well kept trailer park in the BLuff probably in all of corpus. Why lose a star? There are a ton and I mean a ton of children in the fenced in park and no playgrounds this is kinda a bummer.

The racial barrier here is nurtured by senior staff. After reading these reviews i am willing to bet that the majority of the people whose experience was less that adequate were not of hispanic decent. I come from a blended family and do not appreciate my brother being referred to as the black one Liz is a rude person and should be sent to the unemployment office. I would not recommend this place, unless you want your guests to be scrutinized and made to feel as tho they are visitors in a prison camp where you are imprisoned. I hope that whom ever owns this property takes the time to look at these reviews.

If you love inconsistent rules, unprofessional and rude management, and terrible roads, this is the place for you. They will do anything to make a profit off of you, and militantly apply rules wherever it benefits them, regardless of how it effects the people living here. Many people who have lived here for over a decade are being told that their yards dont belong to them, and neither does anything on them. Theyve recently come through many yards, including my neighbor (luckily, not mine), with no notice, and chopped down trees that have been growing for over 10 years. They say the yards belong to them, so theyre allowed to. Theyre also not afraid to turn around and say the yard does, in fact, belong to you, and that you have to pay for the additional trees that need to be cut down. Why are they cutting up peoples yards? Why, so they can control the flooding. They say that leaves, yes leaves, cause all the copious amounts of flooding thats always been an issue in the park, and not the shallow ditches that hardly make a dent in the ground. However, this doesnt seem to be the reason. Now that theyve cleared out everyones yards, theyre free to ride their golf carts and lawn mowers through the various paths theyve made between trailers, and can be seen doing so often.Another problem is the streets. The streets have always been atrocious, and have been repaved unsuccessfully many times, due to them hiring the cheapest companies they can possibly find. Whats wrong this time around? Well, when it gets hot out, the streets literally begin to melt. If you walk outside in the heat, expect to get asphalt stuck to your shoes. I cant even imagine walking a dog on those streets, it may actually cause injury to their paws. Be careful!Speaking of dogs, if you love your dogs, dont come here. Recently, out of nowhere, they implemented a whole list of rules about pets. Most of the rules were already in effect, like no pit bulls or German Shepards, keep a collar on your pets, etc. However, they listed a rule that you can only have 2 dogs. This had never been previously stated. Anyone that has more than 2 dogs was told, with no notice, that theyll have to get rid of their extra dogs. And by the way, I found that note on my living room couch. Instead of taping it to the door, like usual, they opened the door and put it in my house. Scary stuff.Do you like having basic necessities? The park doesnt recognize that. Constantly, without notice (as is common with the management), they will turn off the water to all trailers. This can range from a few hours to, in some instances, over 2 days. No tap water. No showering, cooking, washing your hands. Nothing. Oh, and sometimes they do give notice of course, but its too little too late. Once they had workers go door to door to tell everyone. They said the water will turn off at 8pm I looked at my clock... It was 8:30. The water was off for a day and a half. The manager, Mrs. Liz, is the biggest problem with the trailer park. She does not care about the people who live here, and she doesnt care about being professional, she wont even try to be. She orders people around, with no regard to whether its rude or not. If you question her, or disagree with her, she loses her temper and starts cursing. She clearly does not care, and is only interested in her way and maximising profits so she can buy herself another expensive car. Shes already on her way to a 4th vehicle, ready to take up more space in the already small office/park/pool parking lot.Theres so much more to list, but it could go on forever. Just take this as a warning: If this was the last trailer park in the entire world, and you needed to find somewhere to put your trailer, Id suggest selling it and renting an apartment instead. Also its comical that the management left a 5 star review of their own establishment, and use it to disagree with the people who live here. It seems like Mrs. Liz wrote it herself, especially the part about how she doesnt pick on certain people, ask anyone here: thats false

Love this place.... If youre looking for a place and they happen to have one, you better be quick, it never stays available long. So make like a cat and pounce!!! Once you get there, you dont want to leave. It is run very well, very pleasant atmosphere. Pool and Hot tub! Its like settling into a home. Your lot is yours. No one looking at you through a microscope. Management is top of the line!

Not too bad to live in. Ive lived here almost all my life. Everyday life goes pretty smoothly, usually. Its when you have to interact with management or staff theres a problem. Management does not care about the people that live here, only profit, and its incredibly obvious. The staff is extremely rude, inconsistent, and incompetent. I was taking a walk around the neighborhood once and a member off staff (not on the job, in his own personal vehicle) yelled at me from his truck and demanded that I tell him where I live. He claimed I was trying to jump the fence, when I was nowhere near it and had no intention of doing so. It was incredibly strange and creepy, and scary. The next day I was walking out of the park and he pulled up next to me and did the same thing again.Another time I went to the pool back when I was 15. The rule is that you need to be at least 14 to go alone, but a member of staff refused to let me go in. I eventually had my parents at the time call and complain, and they (very reluctantly) allowed me in.Theyve destroyed the roads just like they did years ago. The roads are just tar with gravel laid over them. The first time they were fixed while I was here, it took about 5 years for the incredible amounts of gravel on the road to finally go away. Now that its finally gone, they went and destroyed the roads again. If youre using a scooter, a skateboard, or even some bikes, its almost impossible to ride on it. The only place thats decent to ride on is the office parking lot, but if you do ride there theyll scream at you. They claim that if we want to ride our bikes/scooters/skateboards we have go to the park. All they have there is a cracked basketball court. Recently they put a lock on the gate, and although the sign says its open until 10pm, I cant remember the last time it was unlocked. Months ago maybe? My neighbor used to go there with her dog every day, and now no one can go because no one bothers to unlock the gate. Also, you used to be allowed to sit at the benches in front of the office. But since they turned the party room into their new office (for no apparent reason) they wont let us! They demand that we leave if were anywhere near the office without an expressed purpose, they even went as far to start tearing some of the benches out.The manager is extremely rude and is only here for the profit. Her name is Mrs. Liz, Im sorry if you ever had the displeasure of speaking with her. She lives at the front of the park now with her 3-4 expensive cars and her enormous yard, which she expanded, and her yappy dogs. Shes very hypocritical. She made everyone take the boards off their windows immediately after hurricane Harvey, but kept hers up for 6+ months. She wont allow us to park next to our home, but her vehicles take up half the parking spaces, she even had to make room for more of her cars. Often times when were at the mailboxes, or in the park, she comes out of her house to harass us and ask what were doing, if we really live here, and usually tells us to leave. Also the water turns off quite often, usually unexplained and without notice for hours or days at a time.We often get notes on our door (which they deliver constantly around the park on golf carts) about what they feel is too ugly about our house. Theyve made us move plants, paint our porch, take average branches and leaves out of our yard, and refuse to let us have building supplies out WHILE we are fixing our house. However, its incredibly inconsistent. Theyll complain that we cant park in front of our house, while they never say anything to people down the street. Or that we need to repaint our house because the colors dont match, while other houses are covered in ugly colors, someone even painted a sunset on their trailer but they never complained about them. They changed the speed limit to 5mph from 10 mph. You have to come to a full stop when you go over one of the probably 30+ speed bumps in the parks on their deformed roads.

This review is to address several of the comments and photos left on this website,1. The pictures of trash were taken after Hurricane Harvey had destroyed several storage units. Additionally, locals were adding their own trash to the debris pile. It took several weeks for the city to remove all the debris. AAA Storage Barns DOES allow 24 hour access for people. However, this access was temporarily suspended after the hurricane for safety and security reasons. It was restored as soon as we felt it was safe to do so.2. We work very hard to keep both Marthas Vineyard and AAA Storage Barns desirable places for our residents and customers. This often requires us to ask people remove items from yards, repair damaged homes, or simply keep their yards mowed and clean.3. The manager does not pick on residents. However, if a resident is in violation of the lease and refuses to take corrective action (as noted above), certain steps must be taken. This is not unlike the City of Corpus Christi and Code Enforcement. Tenants agree to certain rules when they sign the lease. They are expected to abide by these rules.4. Finally, I encourage anyone interested in living in Marthas Vineyard MHC to stop by and tour the property. You will see a property that has both newer and older homes. Many of our residents have been here for several years and have kept their older homes looking very nice. Additionally, we have several older homes that have recently been renovated and they look great! It is out of respect for all our residents that we work hard to keep their community, they place they call home, beautiful.Thank You,Management - Marthas Vineyard MHC and AAA Storage Barns

All the negative reviews are true. There are certain ppl the management “bullies”. Always threatening eviction over some kinda bs or another. I believe they pick on certain ppl that own their home so they can evict them & take possession of it . Always leaving notes wanting to charge me when they think my yard should be mowed yet my neighbors is higher & they didn’t get one. One day when the wind was knocking trash cans over , I got a note to clean my yard . Again my neighbors didn’t there was trash in their yards too. The roads are horrible too & will damage your vehicle. . I definitely would NOT recommend this park. I would suggest somewhere almost anywhere else. Also, I smell a possible lawsuit.

BE WARNED DO NOT MOVE HERE!! Management is awful! She targets and picks on certain people she does not like! Everyone signs the same contract so the rules should be the same for everyone but she doesnt live up to that. None of the residents I have talked to are happy living there! What is sad is its cheap to live there so most of the people cant afford to move, they are stuck there! The only good thing about this place is they do background checks to keep out sex offenders.

Awful living there. Manger targets tenants with tickets for any items she does not like on their lot. So you sit there and see another employee riding in the golf cart and handing out tickets/violations. This park/management employees do not abide by Federal laws for ADA tenents. So if your handicap/SSA Disabled do not expect her to abide by any laws or have any empthy, compassion. OR (her) to even want to abide by USA laws for us whom are disabled, especially after working for 48 years.... The poor tenants are stuck there be cause they cannot afford to leave. And for goodness sake.......do not park on grass/weed yard or you are threatened with eviction........U cant walk, from concrete to home, but this manager expects you to..to unload your food, etc..
