A beautifully maintained, paved trail through a mix of wooded areas and open areas hidden away in the middle of an urban. Everyone I passed waved, smiled, or said hello. A great place to walk, bike, ride your non-motorized scooter, skate board or whatever as long as it is not motorized.

Sweet trail along the creek with stunning bridge and nature views. The are deer all over the place and they appear very friendly. The trail has some fun hills and curves that are great for cycling or boarding if youre skilled. The bridges are very cool looking and great for photography. The river here has a nice flow and tranquil sounds.

This trail seems to be a bit overlooked through certain parts of the city but is lovely, mostly forested, and has some beautiful boardwalk areas. There are lots of access points along the route, including the Easton soccer fields and Innis Park.

Best bike trail in Columbus- it starts in Westerville and goes South to Groveport. From there you can head East on the Blacklick creek trail- you can get some real mileage on this trail. It’s mostly wooded but does pass through some open meadows. There are several stops along the way to break. Many of the parks have portapotties you can use.

Easy hike with little to no harsh elevation. Prepare for a muddy time in the non-summer months. Very nice views along the water.

I love this trail! The views are beautiful, and its not too overcrowded. I am a runner, not a bicyclist, so this is important to me!

Good for cycling but I would suggest for walking much. Lots of bicycles always . Specially if you have small kids then doesn’t fit

Okay so to start its in a decent location at the point where the maps takes you. You can walk several miles north to westerville and Easton where the beach area is or south. I walk south and walked a total of about 8 miles with my 2 pups. It starts off great as a trail should but then attaches to the side of the highway and I didnt like that. It is a GREAT trail for bikers and runners and this trail is connected to a couple more which Im posting the picture of. My favorite stop is by the baseball field of Ohio Dominican. By the baseball field is a spot that marks a location that the underground railroad. 8/10

Nice little secluded nature trail sort of in the heart of the city, be cautious of the occasional motorised vehicles traversing around corners the likes of golf carts etc...

An asphalt path winds its way through dense forest, past architecturally pleasing bridges, and near some very picturesque brooks. If you explore far enough, youll find some benches that overlook the Dominican Universitys baseball diamond. Dog friendly, and a very popular bike path. Free bike fixing stations are available at intervals for those unexpected repairs.Unfortunately, there is an issue with broken glass from bottles smashed against trees, especially near the parking areas. Keep an eye out so Rover doesnt end up with a piece of glass in his paw.

I didnt see any public restrooms on the trail. Although the trail does lead to several parks along the way, there seems to be a serious lack of facilities. The trail really is awesome, though. It is a peaceful way to spend an afternoon while getting a great workout.

Best trail in Columbus. Its incredibly long like 30+miles with twist and turns. Very private and secluded in some areas and very open with a city feel in other areas. Very safe and welcoming. A lot of people ride bikes, run/jog, walk dogs, intimate walk with your significant other or just some friends. Best trail in Ohio!

This is a really nice area, and is always very well kept. Its one of the nicer places Ive been at like this. The pavement on the trail is kept nice, theres not usually any potholes, but if there are any, the are always fixed in a timely manner. The trail basically streches across the whole city. Its a nice place to take a stroll or just hang around with some friends or family.

I enjoyed my walk here with my dog. Sadly, upon return to my car, someone had smashed in my window and stolen things from it. I guess make sure you don’t leave a coat or dog food in your car- that’s what they stole! So sad

Great trail for running! Goes through several parks and has a lot of nice scenery and plenty of shade. Occasionally there is trash on the side of the trail, so more trash cans may be helpful. I like that there is some back and forth so there are several bridges to cross which adds variety on a long run.

I truly relish this trail. After living in the Clintonville area for a long time I did hundreds of runs on the Olentangy trail, now living next to the Alum Creek Trail Im in heaven. No crazy verticals obviously but certainly more rolling than the Olentangy. And I really love all of the adorable bridges. The trail keeps passing back and forth over the water so it is very visually arresting as well.
