We stopped for the night as HarvestHost members, and had tasting of some of their slushes, then back for dinner. Service was great. Food very good. This is our first stop on way south in the fall and last stop before returning home. Always good evening.

We had a training class here in the banquet hall. They treated us really well and has fresh fruit. The watermelon was actually from their garden. They wanted to make sure that we were satisfied that they even brought a toaster oven from the woman’s house. The pizza was amazing, they had Hawaiian margarita and plenty more. My favorite was the margarita pizza. And the cheesecake was to die for. I bought two bottles of wine for around $24. However their beer is way too expensive, four cans cost me $21. But overall a great place to go to.

I was so looking forward to eat at Simmons Winery for pizza before I start another round of chemo. We walked into the restaurant and there were only about 6 tables occupied and about 4 to 5 waitresses. We waited for a long time for someone to come over and take our drink order, but no one came. I then got up after about 10 minutes and asked a waitress (that was cleaning another table) if anyone was going to wait on us and she said our waitress would be there shortly. After about another 5 minutes no one ever came. So, we decided to leave. On our way out we informed the hostess that no one ever came to take our order so we were leaving. Her response was “GOOD”. This was not the first time for slow service, but no service is unacceptable. We will never go back and if I could have given zero stars I would have. Poor way to run a business

What a nice family business! We has a tasting and tour event and he went the extra mile for us. Answered a million questions and showed us the facilities. The wine was very nice - a good variety of grapes and you can tell they care about the products they put out. The restaurant had great food (Tenderloin Tuesday and pizza for us) and their brewery is turning out some great beer and hard ciders! Worth the visit! Well be back.

Simmons winery is good for both wine & beer tasting . I love their pickle fries . You can drink and have your lunch / dinner at the same time or later point is that this place has a lot to offer . Friendly staff and willing to help . Weekend you might have to wait for seat . All in all it was a wonderful experience!

Great food and wine. Good menu and the pizza is always great. Its a small place so dont show up at rush with a large party. Tables are for 4 or 6. Must get the garlic knots, pick a pizza and save room for dessert. Order the dessert early so they dont run out.

Me & my good friend (who has been here several times & wanted me to sample their wines) traveled over an hour, to Simmons Winery. This place was definitely worth it. Let me start by saying, the grounds were very striking! Beautiful outside venue, Gazebo, Shelter area, so relaxing. Now the wines, Im a sweet wine person, but not overly sweet. Sampled 8 wines, loved them all, a few really stood out, the peach & rhubarb! Peach was lite & crisp, the rhubarb had the tart zing, that you expect & both were very smooth. The food was delicious also, its brick oven pizzas were being consumed by adjoining tables at a high rate of speed! So they must of been good. My friend ordered a pasta dish, she said it was delicious & the garlic knots were very good. Over all, I will be back! And a Special Shout Out to Jean, she helped us with our wine sampling, very sweet lady, & a Very Hard Worker! They need to get that woman an assistant!!!

Extremely disappointed in the expansion. School lunch room made over.Waited 45 minutes as a couple and watched multiple families/groups that arrived after us be seated. (2/15)We are local and had been customers multiple times a year with and without family. The warm & cozy environment was enough to overcome the mediocre customer service previously.

We waited more than an hour for a table. When we were seated, the table had not yet been wiped clean. We then waited another 30 minutes before our drink order was taken. When I received my pulled pork sandwich and fries, all my food was cold. I would have sent it back but our server did not come back to the table until she was asked to do so by a busboy that we were able to flag down. When I sent back my food, I let the server know I would not being paying for it nor did I want something else. She came back to the table and said the manager agreed to my statement. However, when we looked on the bill, we were still required to pay the required gratuity. If there is a second choice of restaurant to go to, I would recommend doing so. I will not be returning to Simmons Winnery ever.

We come several times a year for wine tasting. Don’t forget to bring your Simmons Winery bag back to get a discount on your next purchase! One of our favorite spots for wine tasting and then eating over on the brewery side.

To tell the truth 1 star is being nice. Once we drove up the employee ran into the building. We went in looked around and waited for someone to help us out. After 20 minutes we saw the we must be the wrong color because everyone else was getting help so we left.

Visited with my wife for the first time. There was a wait for a table but did the wine tasting while we waited...worked out perfect. I agree with another review that it is more of a brewery atmosphere but my wife and I loved it. The wine and beer are both very good. Also, we both commented on how nice and great the staff was...extremely nice and helpful. We will definitely be back. This is great for fun date night, family, and large groups.

We ate at the restaurant and did wine tasting. This was not our first time. We liked it the first and came back. Everything we ate was really good. Great pizza and the roasted veggie salad was great. Gotta try the tatchos. The wines are good too. The staff were very accommodating even when we were running late.

Most winerys dont charge for q tasting but this one does. Its 5 dollars for 4 tastings. I did think the food was great. You can eat healthy here. Several of my friends are following keto diet. Sweet staff members. I also brought my child.

I had the opportunity to visit here in October. Their pizza is OUT OF THIS WORLD - GOOD! Our party of 4, also enjoyed their copperhead brew, which was delightful. I think it was a Fri afternoon. They had 1 server inside, and 1 server outside for a b-day party. We were treated great, and hope to visit again soon. Its an hour drive each way, from where I live, otherwise, Id enjoy going more often!

They have good local wine and beer. Their pizza is good brick oven pizza, and its a nice atmosphere. More of a brewery/pizza feel than winery. We really liked it. Nice place and we will come back for sure. My wife loved it.

Let me just start off by saying that we normally get together in Indianapolis to meet up with a group of friends from around the midwest about 3 to 4 times a year. We have been doing the Indiana wine trail for nearly 9 years and have found certain wineries that we like. This last weekend 11 of us got together and stopped at Simmons Winery which we have stopped at before. We had an elderly lady at the tasting bar who was one of the rudest customer service representative we have ever encountered. Tastings have gone from 6 for $4 to 4 for $5 and they are not even an ounce fills. The tastings are now served in plastic Dixie cups no longer glass.they were out of half the wines to purchase also. As previously stated we had a party of 11. when we went to purchase wine we had over 3 cases total but seeing it was not a single person doing the purchase she would not give the discount. Do not see us going back here there are far better wineries down in this area of Indiana

Pizza and beer are good. Overall a good place when its not too busy. Unfortunately its usually busy (1 hour wait on a Saturday evening) which makes eating and waiting unpleasant as theres not enough room for everyone inside.

The food was great but the owner was very rude both times our group came. We spent $400+ dollars and was told we had a time limit there. I understand if we didnt spend much money but I think $400-$500 in 2 1/2 - 3 hrs was pretty decent!! The food was good but I will never return to support that womans business! I feel sorry for her employees if she treats them the same way as she treated us!! Very unwelcoming and will never go back!!

I suppose the wine and restaurant itself are great but the owner is extremely rude and disrespectful. I guess she thinks that she needs to have a horrible attitude in order to run a successful business.
