The conservatory was absolutely beautiful and very interactive for our children. There is a few water features that we did not know about, but we let them be kids and splash away. Hindsight, we should have put them in better outfits or even swimwear and differently brought a towel. Only be an issue during the summertime. My kids loved the model train sets and play equipment. I hear their Christmas lights are best in town, but havent made it out here for that yet.

I bought a family pass and it paid itself back within 4 visits. Beautiful gardens, masks required indoors and outdoors, hand sanitizer stations placed throughout the facility. It’s a beautiful place to visit and a safe & fun option for babies and children! I love how they change the displays for each season.

I could never experience beauty and peace anywhere else like I do at Franklin park. From peaceful ponds to gentle waterfalls, geese at play, friendly people walking their dogs, people picnicking on little hills under the shade of several protective trees, a single fisherman, childrens laughter on the playground, and lets not forget the amazing landscaping that is the art of it all. Overall beautiful and peaceful serene place.

Great place. Went with my young niece and nephew, girlfriend, and sister for the first time, and we all loved it. Obviously, wore a mask inside at all times, but it was quiet there so had plenty of time to take pictures with no mask on. Only had one lady working there tell us to keep our masks on while we were outside, thought it was a little over the top considering no one was around us, and she was over 50 feet from us, but no big deal, we followed the rules and put them back on. Its definitely family friendly and great for a field trip for home schoolers.

Absolutely amazing..It made my day :) September was definitely a perfect time to visit the conservatory. Gardens were at their best and we also saw a lot of glass work on t display. We even saw the glass work as a ceiling. There is huge butterfly room. Before you go to the butterfly rooms check the time when they release the new/baby butterflies to the room. The staff makes a display as they try to fly for the first time. The staff was very enthusiastic about what they were doing.

The new COVID procedures require you to get tickets to enter at a specific time but you can stay as long as you like after entering. Not especially crowded on a Saturday afternoon, so was easy to keep social distance. Staff friendly and helpful. Gave us a three month extension on our membership because of the closures last Spring. As always, both the interior and exterior spaces were well maintained and full of beautiful flora. We also walked through the community gardens, which were full of wonderful veggies and flowers. What a great way to relax and decompress after being cooped up at home for so long. Our membership more than worth the price; one of the best bargains in Columbus!

First time ever coming to a botanical garden! It was so much fun for our entire family! We were able to be greeted so nicely and the staff was very helpful. Facility was as so clean. Lulili work is on display! Oh my goodness is it beautiful! Kids section is so much fun. They have the coolest waterfall and rock swimming area. Not sure if its a good idea for babies because they are rocks, but great for kids ages 2 to whatever. They had the sweetest garden for kids and again staff was so helpful here too! We ate from the cafe. Food was awesome, prices are a little inflated but we are in a specialty place so I knew they would be.They have a smaller scale canopy for the kids and lots of little games for the kids to be apart of. Wonderful place for the community! Plus a huge community garden. We went and explored and asked 2 staff members how the garden works. Very knowledgeable and so helpful!

I went to the Franklin Park Conservatory today to see the Amorphophallus titanum  (aka Titan Arum). This plant, known as a corpse plant, only blooms once every 20 years or so, and only for somewhere between a few hours and a couple of days and it is in bloom right now. Also, the Conservatory currently has an exhibit titled Chihuly: Celebrating Nature. It has been nearly a decade since the Conservatory last featured a full-scale Chihuly exhibition. This is  the largest Chihuly collection in a botanical garden.Conservatory tickets should be purchased online in advance and they are for a specific time period to aid in social distancing.#franklinparkconservatory #corpseplant #experiencecolumbus #amorphophallustitanum #titanarum

Had an amazing first time experience with a large group of friends last night; Really enjoyed the Halloween decorations(pumpkins, halloween lights, lights in the shape of a pumpkin, pumpkins, a fire dancer, pumpkins, fog, pumpkins, there was even a food truck! (A few Pumpkin entres as a choice, obviously!) only complaint i have, is the fact that I couldnt find a SINGLE restroom anywhere in this HUGE park, I Even asked two friends in the group to help keep an eye out for one (thats a joke because I have one eye) I had 5 eyes actively looking for a restroom, so i find it hard to believe we couldnt find ONE (unless it was in the building) which we didnt go in due to time constraint. Just happy I was able to use my friends restroom after dropping him off. All in all 10/10 would recommend on this hidden gem

Columbus, Ohio the 6 month Coronavirus Update. OSU just started in person classes last week. With their additional virus cases, I think it will be a long winter wearing a mask. I wanted someplace to go with both indoor, outdoor, and nice bathrooms indoors. FPC is such a calm, beautiful place. It is a long drive to get here. Another gem for Columbus. Breathtaking and peaceful. The variety of plants and trees is so impressive, and I love the different climate-inspired areas with the flora and fauna from different regions. The new Chihuly exhibit is as amazing and beautiful and unique as all his others Ive seen. Our group was the first tour bus to experience it. It goes into 2020, so people have time to enjoy, appreciate and see it. The butterfly exhibit is fantastic and will be there through the summer. So many varieties, and you can actually see them hatching. They then have a little presentation at 1pm and 3pm to see them released. We couldve spent the whole day there. Our guide Dee was so very welcoming and kind with a very large welcoming and warming smile. I always appreciate that. She is the Manager of Guest Experiences, and she sure does it well. I, as well as all my group, loved the entire experience.

Great time here! Best way I have heard it explained is like a zoo for plants. The plants are sectioned into different areas based on their climates. Every room is beautiful, but I would have to say the bonsai and zen areas were my favorite. Amazing to learn about the process there. This may just be the most beautiful park in the Columbus metro area. It’s truly a piece of serenity and calm in the middle of bustling city. There’s an amazing variety of trees and flowers. I even gathered some really good ideas for my own home. The park is large and takes a while to see everything. The park is free to walk around and explore however the conservatory itself does cost money to enter but in my opinion is well worth the $18.00 for general admission $15.00 for seniors $11.00 for children. There is a new children’s area that was just recently completed and opened. The area looks amazing and should be a lot of fun for the kids. The park has plenty of parking and is also on the bus line. The security is always out in force riding around on their golf carts so you shouldn’t worry about your safety at park. There used to be a large part of the garden that was free to walk around. However last time I visited I noticed they have enclosed the area and it’s included with the conservatory cost. I’m not a fan of this change.
