We had a Holiday Party planned for December where we had placed a deposit. With the rise in Covid19 cases in Ohio and the county, we made the difficult decision to cancel the event due to the nature of our work and the patients we see daily. Star Lanes refunded our deposit with zero issues. Knowing that they cared about their customers and how that deposit affected us as business meant a great deal to us. Thank you , and we hope to return to celebrate at your venue when we can resume normal activities.

Star Lanes is one of our favorite places to visit! They have done a great job of creating a Covid safe and enjoyable experience. Our kids had a great time.

Had my daughters party there today, and it was amazing. The food was good and our host went above and beyond to make sure we was taken care of. The other staff were also very helpful and kind. We will definitely be returning.

Amid this crisis hands down the safest place that Ive been to. Masks, hand sanitizer at every lane, air filters all around. Im very cautious and felt safe. Was one of the best bowling alleys Ive been to in quite some time. Has a 4d ride that I didnt get a pic of. Staff extremely friendly and attentive. Food was well worth the money. A place I would suggest to anyone looking for a fun, trendy bowling experience.

Terrific Value in the mid-day on weekdays. Had a good time with my friends for only $7 or so. But there does seem to be an issue with people not wearing masks inside. No signs say people need masks once they are past the reception.

My boys and I had a great afternoon at Star Lanes today. The manager and staff were all friendly, helpful and accommodating. The staff all wore masks and there were employees cleaning the entire time we were there. There was plenty of room as they have it set up for social distancing. Star Lanes remains our favorite place to bowl in Columbus and we will definitely be back soon!

Bowling here was fun and it’s nice they have arcade games as well, however, you pay by the hour and not by the game and it was very overpriced , so I felt the need to take away 1 star .

Just ate here and ordered two chicken sandwiches, wings and spinach artichoke dip. The wings and dip were edible but the chicken sandwiches were not good at all. I took one bite and gagged. The chicken almost tasted old. It was sour, burnt and overly crunchy. They but almost no mayo at all leaving it dry. We sent both back and we were still charged. PLEASE DO NOT GET THE CHICKEN SANDWICH!!!

Staff was very nice and our grandkids had a blast.

Highly recommend for a stress free birthday celebration!Extremely accommodating from the moment I inquired about a party through their website til the moment we left the building. The food was delicious, service was stellar, bowling lanes had a great VIP feel, arcade was fairly large/all in working condition... everyone had a great time!

Great family night activity! Google Hyper Bowl- its fun for the non-bowlers! Good staff. Yes its not cheap, but if you have a group of 6-8 people, it becomes reasonably priced. The food is tasty with good size portions. Great place for team building events also.

Pricey but a good place ...

Ill start off the bat by sharing that I went here for a family birthday party - 8 of us - and none of us are bowlers. That last point turned out to be a lot less relevant than I expected, since all of us had a fun time. Ive been to several bowling alleys where it can be uncomfortable for us non-bowler types, especially if you show up on a league night. Definitely not the case here, where it very much has a family friendly vibe.

Amazing options for a great price. They have 4d movies, games, and several bowling options, including a game mode with totally different rules. The food is amazing and the service is fantastic. A great find.

Went with a large group of people from work had a great time! Clean nice place we did wait for 2 lanes but thats only because a big company party was wrapping up.

The Waiter we had was the Bees Knees! Took 2 6 yr olds and had a blast! You can get in a game and a half with 2 adults and 2 kids in 1 hr. Would be better to just go with Adults unless you wanna blow $100.

Overall a great place. My rating reflects the 2 hour wait to bowl with 5 lanes open. The arcade was great. Nice bar.

Took the family for the new Hyper Bowling this weekend, and was a blast! Its definitely different than traditional bowling, but that was what made it so much fun. The bumpers are up as part of the game play, which makes it great for families, as any age can play.Its a treat time, and absolutely a must do, but it is a bit pricey sadly, and would not be doing very often.

Nicest bowling alley Ive been to in awhile. Nice bar, cool games, pool tables, and more. Ill be back for sure.

Fun time a bit pricey. Drinks way expensive!!

This weekend we checked out their newest product, HyperBowling, which mixes bowling with video game-type scoring using moving lights along the bumpers. Our entire group really had a lot of fun playing this, as the younger kids can really compete with the adults. My kids, who usually start to lose patience half way through a traditional bowling game, had a blast trying to beat their mom and dad. Both my kids wanted to keep playing even after two games. If youre looking for a new and fun group activity, then you need to try this!

I’d only been to Star Lanes once for a private party in the VIP area. It was awesome. Tonight 7 of us had two lanes from 7:30-10. From checkin to checkout the service was 10 out of 10. Of course when you bowl you eat. We destroyed the apps menu. Nachos shrimp wrapped in bacon spinach dip Phili Cheesesteak egg rolls !!!! And a bunch more. Everything delicious. Ok we did bowl too. Great facility.. nice couches and plenty of room for a large group.Highly recommend Star Lanes!

Fun evening of bowling and billiards. Decent food options... Pretty good service

The first time we came here it was awesome. But the second time we had to wait an ungodly amount of time while 3 lanes were open. For an hour! The people helping refused to actually look at the physical lanes that were open and just looked at their screens. Completely unacceptable and unbelievably frustrating.

Went for a team work lunch outing with around 40 of us. The food and drink was good, however there were only 4 pizzas brought out when we arrived. There ended up being a total of 12 pizzas (3 slices per person) over the 2 hrs we were there. We were given 4 lanes to begin with which meant 8 people to a lane. Because of the number of people per lane my lane only got to finish 9 frames. (Not even a whole game) we did end up getting 1 more lane but it was super crowded on several of the lanes. I dont know that I would go back with a large group or birthday party. Maybe a double date night but still would opt for somewhere else if I really wanted to bowl.

This place is amazing it has a bar, restuarant, full arcade, and of course bowling lanes. And it is has four giant TVs to watch while your bowling! The arcade it not a little arcade its like full blown arcade. I thought this place was amazing.

This is my first bowling in Columbus Ohio, when I tried bowling, very difficult for me to score more Bowling place is good to have fun and coming to food, we have ordered veg and chicken pizza, both are delicious and chicken strips are kind of dried, taste not so good then coming to spring rolls are very tasty and service & ambiance is really superMust try this place.

I really enjoy it here. Ive been a few times but today was the best. Our lane was having some issues and the guy got it fixed quickly. The food we had was delicious, the staff friendly, and the place was clean!

This place was a lot of fun. The bowling was great the staff was very nice and helpful especially the bartender. The downside is the cost.... a little high for both food and bowling. The food is good well minus the pizza stay away from that...it was undercooked and tasted like the pizza from my high school cafeteria. Decor and ambiance is very nice.

My friends and I like to go here occasionally for bowling and their blue margaritas.Last weekend we went just for the margaritas. Unfortunately, when we approached the bar the service was terrible. We were looked over for a while. Finally, the bartender approached us and our questions were half answered and the bartender quickly moved on to the next person. We left unnoticed and disappointed.

Star Lanes has a special meaning for me and my boyfriend. As this is where we hung out together for the first time without our friend group. And any other time weve been back since then has been a good experience, except for tonight. We found out that we could no longer pay by game, only by hour, which is pricey. We were also informed that no matter what you started our in this new hypo bowling thing. Which we discovered has a few bugs! For example wed have to repeat frames even after weve completed the frame. This is why you test thing before releasing to the general public. Took us a few minutes to figure out how to turn off the hypo bowling, I wish we had a choice before we even started. They dont even take discover for the arcade cards! Which is annoying, thankfully I had some cash. So as we were leaving the building, we decided that we wont be coming back and going somewhere else for bowling. Ill also be advising my father, whos company host their holiday party at star lanes, to not to this year.

We checked several venues in the area to celebrate with family and friends. Star Lanes did not disappoint in the least! We rented the VIP area, which I didnt know existed until we were looking for a spot. Let me tell you...VIP was exactly what we got! Hopefully the management team will let Jessica know that she was greatly appreciated! Her customer service game is on point!! Actually, our party guests couldnt stop complimenting the food, the atmosphere, the facility... It was all great!! If youre planning a party, dont skip this place. The only reason Im not giving five stars is because I wish we could control our own music in that area. Other than that, from the moment we walked in the door, to our last hug goodbye sending guests on their way, it was first class.

The value of playing pool is a lot better than of bowling.My wife and I had drinks and had food. The food was what I would expect but was executed very well. Everything tasted good. The bartender was attentive and helpful making my wife some puree and White Claw concoction that she loved.There were a lot of flies. The bartender didnt sweep it under the rug but also didnt fully address it as an issue. We had to cover our food and drink with napkins and coasters to keep them away.The space looks like one trying to compete with a Dave and Busters with games, prizes, and sectioned areas.We had fun but it might take us a while to circle back.

Bowling has changed, fun place, but dont expect etiquette from the bowlers next to you!

Best Meat lovers Pizza in Columbus!

I don’t understand how this place has any good reviews. First of all, Star Lanes is so dirty. Their employees are so awful, I had to go to bar to order my food AND get drink refills when they are supposed to WAIT us. And I even approached the manager and said “excuse me sir?” twice and he didn’t even look up. Not to mention, they completely gave us the wrong pizza and their food is disgusting! The steak wontons tasted sour and were cold in the middle, I am pretty sure all of their food is frozen. They charge by the hour and 4 people can’t even finish a game in that hour so it’ll cost you well over $50 a person to play a single game of bowling. Also, this place is FILLED with middle school kids with no parents, who will be obnoxious and stand in your lane. If you are looking for a nice date night with your adult partner, look elsewhere. This place is overpriced and has the most awful customer service I’ve ever come across in the city of Columbus. So disappointed and such a waste of money.

Star Lanes is very fun. Great atmosphere, clean and modern. A little on the expensive side for a family outing. There is food available (served at your lane), an arcade, bar service, full restaurant and a video game ride experience to play. The arcade and video game ride are additional costs. Pretty neat place!

Best in Columbus. Need some more lanes:The food is awesome.I loved their pizza, wings and French fries. The place is clean and safe at night unlike a few othe bowling places. They need to increase the number of alleys to decrease the waiting time in the weekends.

Fun place. Kids had an absolute blast. Food wasnt horrible for a bowling alley, either. Compared to a few other bowling alleys in the Columbus area, its clean and doesnt draw the wrong crowd. They have a VIP section, with only about 6 lanes and its own server so you dont have to deal with the crowds on the main alleys. And its no extra cost. Its a fun place but definitely on the expensive side. Regardless, well be back.

I took my daughter and her friends for dinner and bowling and we received no service even after asking twice for a server. Informed management about the issue and we still ended up waiting for a server to come. Very disappointed in the level of service.

My sister in law and her matron of honour have been trying to contact this place for weeks to host a Bachelorette party. They have been horrible at communicating and havent got back to plan this party. We were looking forward to a fun night here, but we are taking the party elsewhere, where someone appreciates our business.

You wont be able to stay at this job long if your attractive and dont want to flirt with the managers.

The facilities were great and the employees were very friendly and courteous.

Drove here and the place was closed for a private party. Not just a couple lanes, the whole place. Save your time and go somewhere else.

The employees are nice and polite. I didnt go bowling but we played billiards and used the arcade. Billiards is definitely overpriced and their sticks arent the best. The arcade is cool and they have guitar hero, which is mainly why we go. Good place to go to pass time and be able to do a small variety of things. Usually pretty busy though.

Great service, great atmosphere and fantastic food.

Really like the idea of this place, but there are some things that could be improved. The games are really expensive, the food is good but could be a little better prepared, and you cant see the markings on the lanes because its black light (which is clearly the reason is did so awful ). Overall the place is pretty cool, and well come back again...we just wont let the kids play the games.

There was several instances of technical difficulty which ate into our hour of bowling3 times it didnt register the score so we had to bowl twice to get it to advance to next player and 2 times it paused out for technical problems. When I told the receptionist about the problem and I was disappointed all she said was it registered at her end. Wont go back

Pleasant experience

Took a bunch of workers there Monday night, 15 of us total. Had a awesome time. Great service, friendly staff. Bartender was the best.

We put our name on the wait list to get a lane gave them name and phone number and they said they would text us when our lane was available. Never heard from them and when we checked back they said it would still be an HR wait there were no Lanes. Had to leave because we had to get a babysitter. Please be more organized.
