Not a lot of room to let it rip. However, its a very nice ride in the trees. Decent elevation changes, nice narrow singletrack. Has some rocky sections, but nothing technical that I could find after three rides around the area.I wouldnt say I have expansive knowledge of the trails there, but what Ive seen is a little underwhelming if you like to push yourself technically.

Great hike with lots of freedom to make easy or challenging. Started out easy, but we cut through brush to get some rock out croppings we saw. Went in February and it was pretty muddy and slushy with pockets of deep snow. Wasn’t crowded either.

The hiking loop to Monument rock is a really nice walk for the family, easy, and there are trees for sixty percent of the walk, so it provides some shade. Monument Rock is really quite large, enough so that my 11 and 12 year olds wanted to climb it!

Had an uneasy feeling due to the history of this place, and the constant presence of three and four way crossroads was unsettling as far as my sense of direction goes, but this is a really beautiful area where the ecology of the desert and the forest meld wonderfully. I saw many twisted, double or triple evergreen trees along the trail...

This is a great hiking area. Multiple trails and almost all are relatively easy, so nice for a stroll on any occasion. Also great for mountain biking. Some areas have more shade than others, so be prepared with sunscreen. Not a lot of parking, so if planning to visit on the weekend or a busier time might need to park down the road. Good trail for bigger dogs also.

The trail is beautiful, but almost nobody has control of their dogs. This trail is a leash optional trail (which is fine by me as long as people have voice control) and most people cant recall their dogs. If I wanted to be in a dog park, I would go to the dog park.

My friends and I love biking the singletracks here!! The trails are well-maintained and fun. Skill level ranges from beginner to advanced. The trails are shared with hikers, dogs, and horses though, so you have to keep an eye out. Its usually not very crowded though, since there are so many trails to explore.

Local favorite for an easy walk, not too hilly or strenous. Beautiful in Fall when all of the scrub oak change colors. There is a small pond up by the monument rock, a fire training center and loads of mountain biking trails.

Some restrooms at the trail head would be nice even portables would suffice. No trail maps that I saw at the main lot sign. It definitely needs to get touched up a bit, the sun fade has taken a fair amount of information away. Trails were trashed with dog bags, and other various forms of garbage. Deep ruts cut into the main trails could be touched up. Overall there is a good trail network, and with a solid map or app you can get around pretty easy.

Great trail system for any type of outdoor enthusiast. In particular for Mt Bikers... it offers excellent opportunities for new, intermediate and advance riders. The higher in the mountain you go on the trail selection the tougher the trail gets.Stay east of Mt Hermann road and you will have lots of flow singletrack, some roots, drops, jumps, and a few rock gardens, but nothing a new and intermediate wont fully enjoy.Cross the road and you have more options, you can test your endurance by climbing up the road and doing wild ass or Lymbaugh canyon, both meet in the end and present the same tough climb return via HZ and white ghost. There is also black pearl with some rocky climbs and also rocky descent.Popular local trail Stoopid Trail which presents with a phenomenal variety of terrain, including loose scree, hard pack, rock gardens, roots, fast straight ways, drops, switch backs, just dont let stoopid get you.Give this place a try, you wont regret it.
