Although the Cathedral itself is gorgeous, it is difficult to enter during the week. I have attempted several times to find them closed, not on snow days prior to 5 P.M. Access to a chapel should be 24-hours a day at the diocese flagship. At least after a traditional work day. You never know when a soul needs some guidance or healing. I understand the potential for criminal elements in the area but, thats why a simple chapel instead of full access to the cathedral would make sense. Mass is nice, sermons are wonderful and the congregation friendly. Currently my favorite in Colorado Springs.

We stopped here early one Sunday while traveling to attend mass and the beauty of this church amazed us. Lots of stained glass windows.

Church bells historically rang to let people know what time it is before everyone had multiple satellite synchronized clocks on them at all times. In 2020 they could at least be within a minute of the time they’re supposed to ring, not 9 minutes late.

Very beautiful cathedral that call to me for mass on Ash Wednesday. God is great to call me here. So peaceful in this cathedral.

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL CATHEDRAL TRULY AMAZING I GO TO MASS HERE DAILY 12 NOON AND I LOVE IT. If your a young adult with kids its a little hard cause theres no cry room to sit and listen to mass but I would highly suggest visiting this mass as a catholic frequently.

I attended a funeral mass here building was beautiful.. but those who assisted in coordinating on behalf of the church made planning funeral difficult as loosing a loved one isnt already, and not at all helpful to the family, or the people who traveled a long distance to pay our last respects. Its a shame what churches are becoming.. sad but true. Reconsidering my final plans for my own funeral. This is the second funeral in different parish I have experienced the simpler treatment. So that tells me its systematic not person to person.

Great spiritual and peaceful place. Love daily masses and the sacrament of confession and eucharist.

Beautiful inside with amazing stained glass windows. Priest spoke clearly and gave an insightful homily. Will visit again next time we are in town.

Anywhere I can receive Our Lord is a blessing but I was really upset by the female lector, cantor, and acolyte as well as the overly modernist infusion with what could be a gloriously traditional Cathilolic parish. The pastors homily was flippant in opening with a joke over a serious reading about being ready for the Lord. Pretty disappointed.

I am a member at St. Marys. During the week the entry is in the back from the parking lot through gate open. Mass is at 12:10 weekdays. Beautiful and Holy church.

Beautiful Sunday Mass with the bishop.I really like that they have many opportunities for confession and mass here at the Basilica not just on Sunday but all through the week.I love the diocese of Colorado Springs!

I went here to see if I could get a mass scheduled and left feeling so sad the father was so mean. I know I am not perfect and Im not in mass every Sunday but Im trying to be betterAnd to go to the house of god and be treated the way they treated me by the people that are suppose to help you be closer to god but instead push you away even more very sad I feel so disappointed in the Catholic church I will never go back
