Great experience. Guides were very helpful, we felt safe the whole time, and it was an amazing ride. With the early wake-up and drive down from Denver, the breakfast spread was much appreciated and lunch was great too. The experience is something I could do again and enjoy with friends/family from out of town. Its such a unique way to experience a 14er.

Great experience! A light breakfast was provided before leaving in the vans which were already packed with gear and bikes. The tour guides were fun and friendly and explained what we were seeing the whole way up and down. Warm clothes and reflective vests were provided at the top. One woman was nervous and they gladly stayed back with her while others sped down in the front. I felt very safe as we were sandwiched between two big vans to protect us from traffic. A couple drivers passed us and the guides communicated over walkie talkies so they could watch for them and keep us safe. The views were astounding, especially from a bike! Delicious lunch served at the bottom. Great price, especially with a Groupon special. Recommended to several friends since. Thanks Challenge Unlimited!

This should be five plus stars! Met at the shop for breakfast. They bussed us to the cog train station and we met again at the top of Pikes Peak. They had everything: bikes, helmets, jackets, gloves, filled water bottles. The ride down was fun. Magnificent views. Plenty of stops for pictures. Our guides were freindly and helpful. There were a few uphill believe it it not but you could walk your bike if needed. This was all followed up with a great lunch. We want to go again with this company!

Did this a few weeks ago with my son and we had a good time once things finally got underway. It got off to a bad start because they could not find our reservation (one other couple had the same problem as well). Even though we had our confirmation, they didnt have a record of us. The next problem was that they were supposed to connect with a couple of other people at the top who had been on a different tour and those folks didnt show up. Our whole group (like 28 people) were kept waiting for almost 2 hours because they couldnt find the people. Several of us were getting pretty frustrated because bad weather was predicted to move in. Once a few of us started getting really impatient and telling them that it was really lame to hold up more than 2 dozen paying customers because 2 people hadnt shown up where they were supposed to at the designated time, they finally got the show on the road (almost 2 hours late)...not to mention that it was really cold and we were freezing waiting and had to go to bathroom to boot. then we discovered that some of the bikes were not in proper working order once the ride got underway. My son had problems with brakes on the first bike they gave him and problems with gears on the second bike. The third one they gave him finally worked fine. Thankfully they had extra bikes on top of the vans but I was just surprised that they hadnt all been checked out ahead of time and found to be in good working order. once we got to the bottom for lunch, the burgers seemed very dried out, Im guessing because they had been trying to keep them warm because we were 2 hours late. So, not our best experience ever. still fun? yes but also very frustrating and not at all the experience we had hoped for. I reached out to the main person (they called me back) to relate our experience and they did apologize and give us some money back, so I am giving them 4 stars. When a company does their best to apologize and make up for their mistakes, I definitely give them credit.

This was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. I’ve never done anything like this before but was easily comforted by the amazing guides. They are so full of knowledge of the mountain and city and state as a whole. As for the biking- they had everything you needed! Water bottles, hats, gloves, pants, coats, you name it. They know all the great places to take pictures so they stop frequently to be sure to capture those moments. It was an exciting journey and would definitely do it again!

If you are looking for some of the most beautiful views and some time in the outdoors, this is the company for you. My husband and I chose to do the van up/ bike down tour and it was incredible. Once you arrived at the office, there was a huge array of breakfast foods to choose from which started the morning off great. During the van ride up to the Peak, our guide Sean gave us some history about the peak and the surrounding area. We learned a lot while taking in the sights. Once at the top, you have some time to explore. When we were there there was construction but you still feel like you are on top of the world. Next, our guides geared us up with cold weather clothes, water bottles, helmets, and bikes. All the instructions were clear and we felt really comfortable on the bikes (mind you in has been a while since either of us had ridden). The views going down were incredible. At the end of the tour we were a sad that the ride was over, but the yummy provided lunch was a perfect way to end a tour. If you are looking for a great time while in Colorado Springs, look no more because you found it! Thanks Challenge Unlimited! We had an amazing time!

The company provides a wonderful service and makes it an extremely safe and enjoyable experience. Much more than just a bike rental! It starts with a light breakfast, ride up to the summit, putting on the provided cold weather gear (expect 20-30s F and windy), bike tutorial, a few stops along the way down to talk about the scenery, and lunch was included at the Wines of Colorado restaurant. The guides are absolutely fantastic at controlling the traffic and keeping the ride safe as long as you follow their instructions.I absolutely recommend this as a wonderful way to experience Colorado and Pikes Peak. I also did the Zipline add on and it was a great time too!

Had a great time with these guys. Went for van up bike down trip. Good breakfast at the beginning. The guy who drove us to the top was very friendly and we ( a group of 12 people) had a good time. At the pikes peak, they gave us plenty of time to enjoy the surroundings. Helped us in getting ready for bike down trip. A good team of people helped us throughout the trip. Very safe and pleasant. I recommend this activity and this group.

Such an amazing time. Thank you! Wonderful guides, safe, fun, and exciting trip. They thought of everything, not just helmets and bikes, but mittens, water bottles, snacks, extra coats, mittens. Breakfast and lunch was part of the tour and such a fun way to begin and end. The ride down Pikes peak was terrifying for the first ten minutes but once I relaxed, it was incredible. Beautiful views and heart pumping fun. Couldnt ask for a better tour company. Go do it!

This was an INCREDIBLE bike ride! Challenge Unlimited is the way to go if youre going to do a bike tour in Colorado Springs and down Pikes Peak. They were fun, professional and very safe. They make sure you are comfortable and allow you to ride at your own pace and level. I recommend this to ANYONE at any riding level. As a Colorado native, whos outdoorsy and adventurous, this is one of the most fun things Ive done in my own state. It was nice riding the Cog Railway up, bike riding down and ending at the Wines of Colorado. Now, I just want to try their full adventure with rock climbing and zip lining! You will not be disappointed if you choose Challenge Unlimited & their experience guides over the other guys.

We booked a tour during a short, unplanned stay in Colorado Springs. We could not have been more impressed with everything about this business. Both breakfast and lunch was exactly as described on the website, and delicious. The guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely safety-minded. You dont need to be an accomplished cyclist to enjoy the trip, as the guides take every precaution to ensure your safety. This tour was easily the highlight of our short stay, and well be back the next time were in town.

Everyone here is really friendly and takes care of you. Safety comes first and you are well informed of what to expect. It was our first time riding down the peak and it was beautiful and well worth it. The weather was great too.If you can, bring a thermal layer and head covers to keep you warm for about a half of the time (but they provide these as well in addition to helmets, water and gloves and more!)We love Tim Sarah Will Lisa and very sweet lady, Tini!!!

Awesome Pikes Peak bike ride and scenic viewing experience! Best way to visit the peak and summit (with the Cog up bike down option). Great service from Tini and the team. Very friendly, fun, professional, and knowledgeable riding guides. Good, simple breakfast setup with some delicious local privately brewed coffee; simple lunch where the guides also serve you! They provide everything you need to have a comfortable ride besides the essential (i.e. fleece, sweatpants, seasonal gloves, etc.). Highly recommend to all!

I did the Pikes Peak by Bike tour with Challenge Unlimited the last time I visited Colorado Springs and absolutely loved it! They had everything covered including the breakfast in the morning and the lunch at the end of the ride at The Wines of Colorado. In fact, they even provided some cold weather gear for the top of the mountain if you didnt pack your own. The staff was incredibly friendly, patient, and never made me feel rushed or like I wasnt in control. Seriously, if I can do this, anyone can.
