I visited in May. Things were still getting back to normal so not a lot of people, and the fountain was off. America the beautiful was a nice surprise. The park was closed, but it looked nice from afar.

Beautiful views ... Quiet ... Fountain NOT turned on July 2020

Very cool park with one of the nicest public playgrounds I have ever been to and a splash play area if you need to cool down. I have this 4 stars and not 5 because the restrooms are so inadequate. The women’s restroom had no doors on the stalls and there is no soap dispenser. (If there were the option that soap could be there and they were just out that would be one thing, but no soap at all is another) if I were renting the pavilion I would be very upset that my guests would have to use that. Otherwise we had an amazing time.

Great day for the Alzheimers walk, but why is the fountain turned on so little?

Beautiful greenspace downtown. Free water fountain/splash area for the kids. You can picnic there without any issues. It is near the trail that takes you through town, whether on foot or bike.

This spot is perfect for the little ones to splash around. The water feels like warm and comes splashing down the fountain. The only thing that sucks is that theres no shade at all and theres what looks like dog poo all over the grass

A really nice park, landscape, and fountain! This place boasts an excellent view of the Southern most part of the Rocky Mountain Range. As well as plenty of lawn space too host a picnic, too a sizable gathering. The fountain is only operational during the warmest seasons, such as late spring and summer, however, it is continually on display. Theres also a fairly large playground, thatll satisfy the kid in anyone. Public restrooms, that I personally have only been able to access during the warmest months, and during events.

Really cool spot to bring your kids! The fountain is unique and fun to splash around in, there is a huge grassy area around it that is perfect for picnics or just running around. Bathrooms nearby in a pavilion and are (mostly) pretty clean. Plenty of parking. Its right next to America The Beautiful Park, which has an awesome playground. Easy to spend an entire afternoon here, all free of charge :) The only negative is there are NO shady spots, definitely bring an umbrella or something for shade!

A beautiful centerpiece to a beautiful park. We had a lot of fun spending time in the open stream around the fountain under the hot sun.

Not as nice a place when Im faced with bum tents and piles of garbage in the bushes and along the bike path coming and going. I know tweakers and bums arent supposed to camp or litter but Im not sure what can stop the constant problem.

Great place for kids to play in the water and a great place for adults to be able to do the same thing while admiring the fact that this fountain rotates very slowly consistently. It really is quite the thing.

If your looking to come here just remember not to leave your kids out of your sight the bums run the bathrooms and the Pavilion. If you go to the Fountain and play in the water be where the lifeguards dont really do anything most of them read play on their phones or sleep.
