Open space with awe inspiring views. Patiently waiting for reopening with U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum

This park is small and during the cold season it looks okay. Ill definitely return once spring comes around. There is a lot of unfortunate homeless people here, sadly they just huddle at one of the gazebos. Other than that the rest of the park is clear. Young people come to skateboard inside the water fountain. I did enjoy my walk and noticed other families come here to picnic.

Kind of gone downhill due to homelessness in the area not picking up after themselves

It is a lovely park, but there is one downside: vagrants! They have set up camps along the creek and one wouldnt be safe going down to see the small waterfalls. Disappointing!

Construction has parking hell and half the park closed off.

Really nice park. With it being memorial day weekend and a nice day it was more crowded than usual. Several food trucks on site with good food at reasonable prices. Parking can be a challenge sometimes but not as bad as other parks. Water fountain that allows children to run through is neat.

It has a great view of the mountains! Lots of parking. There is a playground for kids, and a pretty good size field for just hanging out at.

This park is well kept and inviting. They host a lot of special events, cultural celebrations, athletics, performing arts. The huge art installment has water that flows around it, that visitors can walk and splash in. You can do private parties on the grass area or you can reserve the pavilion. The play structures are built with so many things that I havent seen at other parks. There is plentyof parking on the street or across in the huge dirt parking area. It is a truly wonderful park.

Beautiful park with a lot of room. We saw tons of families there on a Sunday afternoon. The reason for 4 stars is there are a lot of transient people by the shelters at this park.

Beautiful park, has a playground, big sidewalks, a fountain for kids to play in during the summer. There is a pavillion that can be reserved for events, large grassy areas for picnics, shaded benches, trails that lead to and from it.Located close to downtown and old colorado city. Not too far off of the interstate. There are events hosted here from time to time as well.

Its a nice park near downtown. I always enjoy riding past on my bike. It is well kept.

America the beautiful has great low level biking and walking trails that are not far from town and can flow into other park if you are in the mood for a mini 10k for yourself. It has some interesting punlic art and open space for laying about or flying a kite

Im not sure what people see in this park. Ive seen nicer parks elsewhere. Seems like an afterthought or trying to make something out of downtown. Its between the railroad track and I-25, questionable parking (lots of transient people parked and also in the park area), and, to me, not well kept at all. Will never go back.

Really fun park to take the kids. Unfortunately, there are many homeless people hanging out here. They are always respectful to me and my son but, leave lots of trash around the park. It is really dirty at times here. We do pick up some trash every time we visit the park but it is out of control. Much of the trash is also hazardous, Wish we could find a reasonable and humane solution to the homeless problem in this city.
