Warning::: Our car window was smashed on a Saturday evening when we went out to hike. Thankfully we didn’t have anything valuable stolen, but we were not the only broken into vehicle, and another pulled in as we were dealing with it and said hers was broken into before too. So beware!!!As far as the trail, we loved it. It was as easy or difficult as you want. We used a lot of the loop but also took some paths off the route. Beautiful rocks. Definitely hot, very little shade

Really awesome traversing around the trails in the park. There is a 4 mile loop in addition there are trails throughout.Trails could be marked better for 1st timers like us but we just followed some people that knew the area and made our way to the top. It is a breathtaking experience once up there. Somewhat difficult trek for those who are not so nimble as can get a little steep and slippery. The views are amazing. Its a great time with family and friends.

The springs has a wide variety of trails for hiking and cardio. But from the amazing view of parts of the springs and UCCS, you cant be mad at pulpit for being so amazing. Right in you neighborhood!

Cool little hike... great for kids as its not so difficult. Saw a, just one, snake. My girl freaked out but dont let that stop you. I could see there were more trails to be hiked and you can go all the way up to pulpit rock but we did not venture too far up due to fact we had the kiddo with us and it was about 90°. Definitely will return to get to the top.Check it out for yourselfs...

Nice view over the city. The trail is a bit of a scramble near the top. Nothing crazy but be prepared for it.

Just went there on a Saturday afternoon and there were huge signs saying Dont leave valuables in the car. We were about to park but we saw that two separate, out-of- state cars had their front windows broken into. We didnt stay.

Parking lot is large enough. Dry hot area to hike. Topping Pulpit Rock is cool. Unfortunately the area seems about as wornout and beaten up as Palmer Park. The connection to Austin Bluffs Open Space does make this area better. Thank you to the Palmer Foundation.

Great off the beaten path trails. Not highly populated but also not isolated. Some parts were icy. Several parts with snow. Good visible trails. Some steep hills on trails. Several trails but only did one. We did not go all the way up to top rock due to late start and sun already going down at 430. Dont want to get stuck in there at dark. Dogs allowed but on leash. Nice little hike. Fairly easy.

I thought the rock formation was really nice and beautiful the area to walk on the path they didnt have very many benches for people to sit down like myself I have a disability of physical disability with my back and then I am in my sixties so I was at a breath a lot of the time especially going up the hill I wish they would have been benches along the side so I could have sat down but there wasnt maybe in the future if theres money available they could put some benches there and maybe a trash can you know if your having soda or you have to discard something you have a trash can to put it in thanks

Pulpit is a great routine hike. Walking distance from my house. Quick and easy. Pretty walk to get there. Clearly established trail but primitive enough to offer a little bit of escape from civilization.

Its a nice walking area, fun and pretty. The sewage line goes underneath however so there are a couple spots that stink but not to many and not for long if you keep walking. Only done one of the two trails so far. It looks like theres a geocache or 2 on the site if that is something you enjoy doing.

This parking is not paved and doesnt accommodate a lot of cars. I dont think its maintained well, as the lot is very bumpy and has lots of holes. Its the trailhead for Pulpit Rock, so I suggest you to park here if you are planning to hike this trail.
