Grew up here. I remember when the city made the park and built the swimming pool. Jumped the fence one night and went skinny dipping.

This park has a beautiful view of the mountains. The only thing i feel is wrong is that the park for the kiddos is wayyyy too small and outdated. Babies have to climb almost 2 feet to get to the first step, so the park is pretty useless for kids that cant climb well. With all updates to the other parks in the city, its in my opinion that rope obstacles, musical instrument areas, and more stuff for toddlers would suit the community in the area much better. Also, from what ive seen it needs another basketball court, its always packed with kids waiting. Its sad that the pool hasnt opened yet as of this post.@COSparksandrec, fix this! Thanks

When I went to the playground, the swing set was crawling with beetles. Personally, I hate beetles, but otherwise the park was very nice as usual

This is a very nice park with several baseball diamonds. It is right next to Monument Creek, which is good for cooling off on a hot summer day.

Very big park, great for bringing the dogs. Decent enough space to walk around and the pool is a bonus. I just wish they would fix the tennis courts. Maintenance is over due on that part.

Decent tennis courts that could use a little work, but are playable. Decent pool during the summer. The playground equipment is good quality. There is a nice trail along the ditch for a walk or bike ride as well.

I love that the park is so close to the pool. I can watch my teenager and have the littles play at the park since they get done swimming faster than her. Has great cover from the sun and is never overcrowded.

Great little park. The tennis courts are marked for pickle ball, which is nice. The court surface is in good shape, but some of the net support poles are in need of replacing. Otherwise, it works.

Very nice place to visit. Large open field and nice playground for kids as well. They do even have a public pool as well, but Id say my only complaint would be the worn down and cracked basketball court.

Sk
Review №23

The playground is usually pretty clean, not too busy and has a basketball court. Kind of small, couple slides, tunnels, big kid and baby swings but the big plus is its shaded. Could use an update.

Te

Amazing play area. Spin, climb, swing, and more. Has a very cool padded foundation that should be on more playgrounds. Had a blast!

This is a decent park in the Colorado Springs area. There are some nice tennis courts, a fairly nice playground and a baseball field. The main thing that my wife and I do at parks though is walk or ride our bikes and this park has a nice paved pathway around the perimeter of the park, which is perfect for either of those activities. The park does not provide you with much to look at though so that keeps it from being amazing.

4 tennis courts next to the north parking lot (only 6 spaces, but usually has a porta-potty at that parking lot); a large maintained field including a ball diamond; a large parking lot on the south side (where there is a public swimming pool with showers in the 2 locker rooms, a few dollars admission); paved walkway along the floodway passes adjacent to the south parking lot
