Can be crowded during the day. But going at sunrise is wonderful. Few people, no heat, great view.Clean bathrooms and they have a place to wash your feet.

Family vacation first time at Cocoa Beach. We went during the week and had no problems parking at Lori Wilson Park. You can rent beach chairs, umbrellas, foam surf boards right there on the beach which made it very convenient. We paid $20 for 1 umbrella and 2 beach chairs for the day. We really enjoyed Cocoa Beach. The reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars because the bathrooms were really dirty.

Great beach, nice parking, restrooms available and had soap (thank you!) Restrooms need cleaning and some paint there is mildew along the walls. Understood that this happens more often at beaches but want it maintained so that it stays around for years to come!

The beach was very nice, warm, and beach goers were keeping the social distance which made it extra enjoyable. But while the beach was great, the path to the beach is a wooded area that leads to the deck. This wooded area (which is quite short) was polluted with bottles, cans, food wrappers, and debris. Definitely needs some TLC and more responsible guests.

When we went it was not crowded, there are taps to wash off the sand in the parking lot, which is right by the beach. There is a small kids play area with swings and slide. There are places to barbeque. A small shack selling ice and other treats. A nice little place for family outing

Awesome beach! The lifeguards took care of my son when he got a mild jellyfish sting. Weve been here many times and it was the first time wed seen jellyfish. I love that theres free parking. The bathrooms could be cleaner and some of the showers werent working which was a bummer because we rely on those to clean off before driving home.

For now theres free parking and access to the beach. There are lifeguards here. They have a dog park at the park, but NO DOGS on the beach here. There are rest rooms and outdoor showers to rinse off your sand when leaving the beach. Theres also trash cans at beach entrances/exits and various places in the park. The trails were all boarded closed. No word on when these will reopen. Playground and access to beach available. There is also restrooms and picnic area.

Visited the dog park. Large, clean, and a good consistent water source. Other park users were curteous and supervised their dogs. Well definitely be back!

Visited a number of times, weekday and weekend, in October and never struggled to find parking, and it was even easier to secure my own space on the beach. Cleaner beach than I expected (free entry often seems to make people think they can trash a place), very short/easy walk from car to water!

This beach in Cocoa Beach is really nice. They have bathrooms if you need them and usually a food truck. They have outside showers to shower off sand before getting back in car. Pretty nice park and Beach.

Great place to park and have easy beach access though weekend parking may be crowded. No charge for parking. There are restrooms and picnic tables and at least 1 charcoal grill at the park (kinda hard to see so you might have to look around). Also there a dog park at the southern enterance. No dogs allowed on the beach here.

This is a lovely park with beach access. The surf is fairly calm and there are a lot of shallow spots for wading. Umbrellas and chairs are available for rent for $20 for the day, there’s a small drink stand with fruity refreshments, and restrooms and showers for rinsing off are right near the beach. It does tend to get a bit crowded, but there is plenty of parking so you shouldn’t need to worry about getting a space. It’s definitely a nice spot to spend a day at the beach.

The beach is great. The boardwalk not so great. Much of it is need of repair and is closed off. Boards are rotted and warped, actually seemed unsafe. Surprised there is just one shower for cleanups. This caused a line, not so good for social distancing. Cocoa Beach could do better.

Nice spot for social distancing free parking spacious beach. Update back there again today beautiful weather and clean toilet and shower station facility. Enjoy the snacks and cold drinks offered by the vender on site very reasonable prices.

Awesome place to park! Showers and bathrooms and tons of free parking! Get there before 10 for a spot on the weekends! Also nice that they have lifeguards also.

Decent amount of parking available. Restrooms onsite. Beach was full of seaweed which seemed to be seasonal. Food truck was available for a snack.

Clean beach with access to amenities. Strong undertow and relatively large waves to be careful of with young kids. I enjoyed it but if you prefer the gulf coast, this may be too much excitement for you. Agree that it was a bit run down, but not bad for free!

Awesome beach access, and even nice in January! Bathrooms were clean, easy parking and short walk to the beach. Nice little box available for some need a toy, leave a toy option if you don’t have anything for the kids. No guarantees what will be there, but we saw some floaties and small toys. We left a few behind for folks!Great sand and nice steady waves even with a good breeze. Lots of hotels and dining around if you are interested.

Even though the actual playground area is small, the park is a good size with beach access, 2 pavillions and a nice field.

Decent parking. No changing rooms but there is a bathroom and outdoor showers. Lifeguards were on duty.

Its been our go-to spot at Cocoa for years. Clean, nice, usually get to see some brave raccoons stealing garbage. Great place to park. Oh and its near lifeguards.

Great park and pretty beach, just very limited parking and bathrooms are very dirty. You wont find a place to park after 10:30am most weekends, sometimes the lot is full by 9am

New favorite Beach. Not crowded. free admission. Easy access. Restrooms and shower and there was a food truck and the best part is that the waves coming up are real shallow which is why people like to come there to learn to surf but it was nice for my son who could get in the water and not get slammed by rough waves. You could walk way out and its just a gentle slope. There is a beach store a few blocks down if you need to stop and get supplies

One of many perfect locations to visit the beach. I like this one because of the free parking. It has neat wooden bridges to navigate to the ocean. As with all the Cocoa Beach beaches there is ample space to put your stake in the ground and spread out.

It would be much better if the walkways were not blocked off going to the beach

Went to Disney World and then started driving to the coast for some beach time. Didn’t know where we would end up and we ran into this park with beach access. This place is super nice and chill. A great spot for families. Beach was super clean and awesome place to relax after going hard at Disney. This will be our go to spot when we come back for sure!

For a free park with access to a bathroom its great. The conditions are a little run down. No hooks in bathroom stalls to hold items. The shower is outside the bathrooms and very open and public. Its more of a rinse- the -sand- off kind of shower.

Ive always loved Lori Wilson and have been there many times, but a couple things bother me about my last visit. First, I really wish they would add more showers. And also, I dont know why they had all but one trail down to the beach open.I dont see how making crowds of people walk past each other on one narrow trail is beneficial to anyone right now. Otherwise, I still love Lori Wilson for ample parking and somewhat clean restrooms.

Disappointed the dog beach as advertised is really a small dog caged area away from the beach. Dogs are not allowed on the beach also only one entrance not blocked off?

Coming from Orlando, Lori Wilson has been my familys go-to beach for years. Centrally located, adequate facilities, enormous stretches of beach to be had, and ample parking.Hard to go wrong here (except for busy holidays, but that was pre-COVID).

Had a blast, only thing that touch me was a little seaweed. Beach was very clean . Could use more trash cans, and more bathrooms.

Do not go here! The restroom are the worst. Mold everywhere. Toliet and sinks broken. Just disgusting. There is no maintenance to the area at all. Pay parking some where else its worth it!! We were so disappointed. The actual beach was ok. A ton of seaweed. I cant believe that the life guards are expected to use those facilities.

Great way to swim in the Atlantic. Bathrooms to put swim suit on. You can rent umbrellas and chaise lounge to sit on the beach. It is very relaxing.

Chill spot. Always clean. Always a place to Park. Secondary location next door provides contingency parking with a longer walk. Showers always work and the restrooms are always functional!

Free parking as long as you make it before the crowds. I got here at 8a on a Monday and the parking lot was pretty much empty. I got to park in the shade and pick my spot (anywhere) on the beach. However, I was considerate of the chair and umbrella rental. Nothing like a day at the beach. Might I suggest stopping at the nearest store and picking up sandwiches and other refreshments.

Very nice place close to the cocoa beach shore. It is on the Atlantic Avenue street. Amazing 0.5 mile away from Publix and dollar tree and much more.

Great dog park. My little buddy Big Daddy and I visited this park every weekend and most weekdays weather permitting for almost 7 years. Sadly he passed away May 22, 2019. I still go by a couple of times a month to visit with the dog park family. Lots of memories and he will never be forgotten.

Free parking lot, get there early for best spots, also a nice dog park.

It is a good beach, good service. Large free parking, but it is better to come in the morning. In July you can see protected places where sea turtles laid eggs.

Prefer this over Daytona and New Symerna beach. Way cleaner and give a better beach vibe. Powerful waves

Nice beach, parking, showers.. but the bathrooms look like a set from the Saw movies. I mean, beach bathrooms are always bad, but these were easily the worst Ive ever seen as a native Floridian.

Love the park have gone there for 30 yrs. ,but its having some renovations done there was only the one accessand none of the feet showers were working,otherwise or wouldve been 5 stars

All you need in one spot. You got a Bar close, parking, showers/bathroom and beautiful beach. 4 star cause I think the bathroom could be a little more cleaner, not their fault cause people are just inconsiderate. But a really good spot to beach!

Truly a beautiful place to visit in Florida. We lived in Merritt Island for two months this past summer and came to this park a few times per week. The raised platform trail through the hammock is gorgeous. You can go really far out in the water so itd be great for kids. Its pretty well kept. We had lunch their quite often at the pavilions.

Daytona and Ormond are way, way nicer! At least their beaches are cleaned up from the sea weed. Awful!!!

Great clean beach with free parking and shower. Its just perfect in September. Water is not transparent but very warm and clean. DO NOT get a Sunpass if youre not staying at Coco beach. Instead, put your GPS navigator settings to avoid tolls. Its worth the extra drive.

Very nice beach with easy access. Only issue was with finding a parking space. Might want to show up early. Im sure the time of day had a lot to do with that. Overall, would definitely visit again.

Absolutely gorgeous beach. I went on a Thursday morning and there werent very many people there. The view was stunning and the sand wasnt littered or gross. I spent several hours there with friends and it was a perfectly relaxing time.

Hi ...... I’m writing as a very concerned family that comes to your park every winter when we are here for 3 months we have been coming to the park at least 3-4 times a week and NOT one time has there been soap in the bathroom WHY especially now with a virus threatening to hit & HAND washing is so important Also whom ever sweeps the floors pushes the dirt to trash can at door & leaves it in a pile WHY??? However the SOAP is most important!!!!!Hoping to see this major problem corrected ASAP ........

My most recent visit was a cold (low 50s) but sunny day. Great day for a beach walk.

This was my first time in Cocoa Beach and it was a lovely experience :-) I had the pleasure of coming into town on a weekend that they were having a tiki carving contest and it was the coolest thing Ive ever seen.

Very nice park....not too crowded. The facilities were a little on the Im not going to go in there side, but overall a good experience.

Great beach! Not commercialized but only a couple of blocks from the main strip. Chairs and umbrella are $20 for the day (until 4) and there are plenty of spots! I would highly recommend.
