The tour was incredible. Our tour guide went above and beyond to help us see the animals we wanted to see on the trip. He even gave great suggestions and ideas for lunch afterwords! The mangrove tunnels were super cool to go through! Definitely a great deal!

Took the Sunset Tour this past weekend and had a great time. Malcolm was our tour guide and was very professional. He made sure all of us were comfortable and safe even demonstrating how shallow the water was below us. The mangroves were beautiful and we were able to see lots of wildlife including Herons and Dolphins. We couldnt have asked for a more beautiful sunset that evening!! We did a nighttime bioluminescence kayak tour with Fin Expeditions. From the first phone call, we had a fantastic experience, Jeremy was so helpful and made suggestions on what date to book to have the best possible chance to see the bioluminescence at its peak and really made it evident that it’s important to them to get kids of all ages (including us adults) out into nature and away from screens. Dylan lead our tour and he was very knowledgeable and friendly. They thought of everything for safety and comfort. Our family had an incredible time! The kids still talk about it!

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved the fact that our tour guide was a marine biologist! Not only did he take us on a beautiful/mesmerizing tour but we also learned so much about the wildlife, land, and water. We were vacationing in Florida for a week and in that time we went fishing in the Gulf, to a few parks in Orlando, went sky diving over the North Atlantic, and kayaking in Cocoa Beach. We both agree that kayaking was hands down our favorite part about our trip and we are now planning our next trip to Florida to stay in Cocoa Beach and go kayaking with Fin Expeditions again. STRONGLY RECOMMEND!

I recently booked with Fin Expeditions for a bioluminescent tour but unfortunately the season had ended before our tour. The owner was so kind and professional. He was able to switch our Bio tour into a Sunset Tour for that same night! We loved the sunset tour views and the great hospitality so much we decided to book again 2 days later! I would definitely recommend booking with Fin Expeditions! I have toured with them 3 times so far and cannot think of negative thing to say about them!

Our guide was well versed in the eco system and floral and fauna. Was willing to answer any questions and would point out things of interest.

After going on a bioluminescent tour with another kayak company, I was skeptical to spend more money on another tour stating we may or may not see wildlife. Fortunately, our tour guide, Dillon, was fantastic!! He set the stage early, ensuring there were no guarantees to see wildlife. Dillon was so knowledgeable about the surrounding area and he showed us all of “the” spots to go! We saw manatees, dolphins, Osprey, fish, and kayaking through the mangroves was amazing!! 10/10 would recommend.

Two friends and I went on a kayak tour on a Friday afternoon. Our tour guide was informative and entertaining! We did not see any dolphins or manatee, but lots of beautiful birds and the mangrove tunnels he took us through were scenic and reminiscent of old Florida. The kayaks were in great shape and surprisingly comfortable for a 2 hour tour.

What an amazing experience! Our guide, Jeremy, was so knowledgeable and fun. We felt very safe on the water, it really allowed us to be in the moment. The bioluminescence was so bright, it looked totally surreal! They were very mindful of social distancing and made sure to keep groups separate. We had an amazing time! Dylan took us on our tour. We are in town celebrating my daughter’s 16th birthday. It was perfect! He let us set the pace while also safely pushing us out of our comfort zone through the mangrove tunnels. The tour ended with a stunning sunset and equally beautiful moonrise. If you are lucky enough to be in the area, go on their tours! You won’t regret it. Dylan texted us before our scheduled launch to confirm. He had bug spray, sunscreen, water, bags to keep our belongings dry and cases for our cell phones that allowed us to use them but keep them out of the water. They truly think of everything!

We had an amazing sunset tour with Steven. Steven was very knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife and we saw a lot of wildlife. 1000 Island Nature Reserve was beautiful. I will definitely book another tour next time were back to Cocoa Beach.

Dillon took us on a beautiful and relaxing two hour tour of the thousand islands. We saw a manatee and many large bird species. The mangrove tunnels were quite an experience. We are in our fifties and limited in kayak experience, but Dillon was excellent at teaching and making us comfortable. The craft they provided are very stable and the water is shallow. We quickly gained confidence and had a great time. Oh, and he took many wonderful photos for us, so we could just soak in the nature and not have to think about taking photos.

Had plans fall through and needed a last-minute activity for the day. Fin Expeditions was there to help me out! Had called a couple other places first and they were either not willing to book me last minute, or werent going out because of slight chance of rain. FE had no fear! They were happy to book me a spot (and even made accomodations for me as they were all out of their usual kayaks but hooked me up with a sport model so I could still get in the water)!Unfortunately we didnt get to spot a manatee (wrong time of year, not their fault!), but we did follow a dolphin for a bit and yakin through the mangrove tunnels was a real treat. If I can get back down here with the family, well all be coming straight to the gang at FE! (ps thanks to Dillon, our guide!)

After experiencing the kayak tour with Fin Expeditions I can now die a happy woman. I feel complete in every way. On our tour we saw DOLPHINS AND OSPREYS. I saw a mama and a baby dolphin swimming so peacefully along. As I leaned back in the super comfy tandem kayak, I realized in this moment I was complete. I smiled and thanked the gods and proceeded to paddle along in a dream like state through the rest of the adventure. I felt like I was one with the environment. We had an AMAZING time on the bioluminescent tour! We were able to see both types of organisms - and had so much fun with the tiny jellyfish. We found many schools of mullet and watched their paths as they darted and leapt through the water. (Almost had a fish in my kayak!). I took my 13 year old twins and was a bit worried about them being able to keep up but they were captivated. The water was calm and the route was easy. One of the twins wants to come back every year! Also - the drive back to Orlando after the tour was no problem.Thanks guys!!!

A large groups of friends (adults and children) and I went on a sunset kayak tour with Fin Expeditions this week and it was such a wonderful experience! Even as locals to the Cocoa Beach area, we were blown away by all of the beauty that we often forget is hiding just on the other side of the road! Jeremy was the best host and guide! He made sure we took the paths which would allow us the best chance of seeing dolphins, manatees and other wildlife- which we absolutely did! He made sure we had the perfect sunset view. He is very knowledgeable, and can even make adjustments to your tour based on your groups physical abilities, and what you hope to get out of it. We all cannot wait to go on another tour!!! 5 stars, because Jeremy (the owner) and his team rock! We had a blast on our 2 hour guided tour. Absolutely perfect morning! My sweet friend was visiting from Charlotte, NC and I wanted to give her an adventurous memory to take back home from her first time in Cocoa Beach. Our guide, Kobe, was timely, informative, prepared, and answered all of our questions. We had a really great group too. The equipment was clean, laid out, and ready for us to use. His instructions were clear and very helpful for any first timers. He even had waters for us too. Note: you do not need to bring anything on the kayak with you, but if you do they have special bags to put your belongings in. Leave your phones in the car! Load up on sunblock if you’re sensitive and wear a hat and or sunglasses. You don’t even need shoes unless you want to wear water shoes. They take care of pictures, drinking water, and all equipment needed. If you haven’t gone on a tour yet don’t wait too long! You will love it! Looking forward to more tours with a couple groups of friends.️

Ive been hearing about the bioluminescense tours for a while now and contacted Fin Expeditions for a small party to find out what the buzz was about. The booking process was easy - we lucked out and managed a same day reservation (book early because the trip is WORTH IT).Dylan was super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful in making us feel like accomplished waterman before we hit the river. The kayaks were equipped with minnow nets and some cold bottled water, which was perfect to take the humid edge off the warm evening. The equipment was clean, functional, and there were no corners cut to assure the safety of all participants.We hit the water and the next thing I knew, we were using the nets to scoop up comb jellyfish, and watch them sparkle and glow. I was impressed to have learned quite a bit from Dylan about the bioluminescense and local area wildlife which was an added bonus, and makes me love where I live that much more.Thank you for an exceptional night, we will be back!

Definitely book with Fins Expeditions! I went on the sunset trip and it was a great experience! We saw dolphins (including a mom and calf), manatee (just the snout), and jumping fish. The mangroves tunnels were such fun to kayak through and the guide, Dylan, timed it so we came out to the best possible spot to watch the sun sink behind the very distant horizon with the water reflecting the pink and orange of the sky. Of course, they cant control this, but some dolphins came by right then and the guide got an amazing shot of me, dolphin, and sunset! In fact, dont worry about taking pictures and video, the guides do a great job at that as well. Their photos and videos really captured the trip as best as media can capture something as special as that. It was a wonderful experience!

We did the morning trip as a family of 4 adults. Dylan was very informative and pointed out the birds and manatees. He did a great job of taking pictures and we got the link later the same day. The kayaks were in good shape and comfortable. We all enjoyed the mangrove tunnels. A great family time.

We had a great time paddling our Kayaks through the mangroves checking out the wild life and following the dolphins as they searched for fish . Our guide Kobi (an accomplished surfer) was awesome and took the time to explain what we were seeing throughout the trip. A great way to spend a morning or afternoon on the water, highly recommended!

We had Dylan as our guide. He has a marine biology background and did a great job of narrating as we went along. We saw fish, a dolphin, a manatee, and ospreys. Everything was set up when we arrived and after a short orientation, we were off. The mangrove forest tunnels were amazing. Dylan provided water, bug spray, and dry bags for the trip.

I’ve been on several tours with them over years and each time I have blown away by their overall professionalism, knowledgeable guides, personalized service and the incredible beauty/wildlife the river has to offer. I’ve had a manatee literally hug my kayak on a morning tour, had bioluminescence light up the water (fluorescent yellow) as I paddled on the bioluminescent tour- while fish jumped around me- lighting up the river, and most recently watched a spectacular sunset over the river with some of the most active wildlife I’ve seen in the river. These guys know where to take you - they clearly love what they do. Stop reading reviews and just book! You won’t be disappointed!!!

Such an amazing experience touring the lagoon and the mangrove tunnels. Our guide was full of information about the wildlife, plants and ecosystem and eagerly answered our questions and helped us learn. The tour included myself and my 10YO son and our guide was encouraging and made the tour fun for both of us. The highlight of the trip--kayaking out into the middle of the lagoon and having dolphins swim past us almost close enough for us to touch. It was amazing! Cant wait to come back in the summer time to check out the bio-luminescence tour! Thanks again for a great trip!

Guide was lots of fun. Everyone stays together at an easy pace that is very relaxing. Lots of wildlife and definitely go thru the mangroves. You can do this even if you have never tried it before. But rely nice still for experienced people also.

Had a great time recently on a sunset kayak tour with it family of four. Our tour guide Jeremy was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We all learned a lot from him - from the different species of birds and their behavioral patterns to the micro-ecosystem of the area. Will be taking another guided tour when we come back in the future, highly recommended!

Went on a guided tour of the 1,000 islands area of Cocoa Beach with my wife, cousin, and 3 teenagers. We had an amazing time. The tour guides were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Equipment was in great shape. They really run a first rate operation. I highly recommend them and am sure we will go again. Great for all ages.

WOW! So much fun! We went yesterday with Jeremy and his amazing guides on a tour of the Thousand Islands. Theyre super personable & knowledgeable. They worked really hard to get us on the different wildlife from dolphin, manatee to various birds. I learned something new too in that the Banana River lagoon basin is home to 1/3 of the nations manatees! Even if youre a local like me youll learn something new. I cant wait to do a bio-luminescence tour with these folks. Highly recommend as one of the top 3 things to do on the Space Coast!
