Its a great park to visit. They have alot of amenities to offer. Its a place to spend the afternoon with friends and family for a day our of the house. They have a small boat ramp and plenty of benches to sit and watch the sun set. If fishing is your hobby then you will love this park.

In over 10 years, I had never seen a gator while kayaking here. Last weekend , after taking off from the kayak launch, was my first time seeing a 3 foot little guy sunning on the concrete boat ramp. I love thousand islands and the variety it offers; mangrove tunnels, suburban canals, and a maze of trails. I have even paddles over to the Cocoa Beach Golf Resort pool. Ive seen manatees, porpoise, fish, stingrays, conch shell, horseshoe crab, storks, crane, heron, hawks and a plethora of other wildlife. Did I mention I love this kayak launch?

Great place to launch from for paddling! The restrooms are well maintained and there are loads of areas to explore. The islands also make for good wind protection on windy days.

We went on a Sunday late morning. The parking lot was already full and we had to park on the grass. The bathrooms were clean and open. I felt the boat landing was a little small but in good shape. I throughly enjoyed paddle boarding from there. Come early and bring lunch!!!!

Cool place to launch your boat or Kayak. Restrooms, playground and tennis court are also here. I wouldve given it 5 stars but there is limited boat trailer parking and almost no lighting at night.

This is a great place to kayak! You can avoid motor boats easily. It can be super easy or very adventurous, depending on your choices.Ive brought kayak beginners and pros here; everyone loves it!We often see manatees or dolphins. The park has a good bathroom that is pretty clean, a dock, and a really nice kayak launch.

Many trips needed to explore all there is to offer. A tip for paddle boarders- get a yak paddle and break it down, makes paddling in tight places much easier!!

This park is great! There are bathrooms. 3 launch spots. The mangrove tunnels are so much fun and maintained very well. There are maps to help you navigate around. We went for about 2.5 hours. There was a lot of kayakers and parking was tight, but we were able to maintain a social distance quite easily. The facilities were open as well.We saw a baby manatee, horseshoe crabs, a catfish, a tiger fish, a gar (or some other long pointy fish), and lots more schools of fish, maybe tilapia? We were able to find a nice calm spot in the mangroves and have a picnic lunch on the kayak. There were people in boats with motors fishing. Everyone was very polite and kept their distance. It was great, we will definitely be returning. This felt very similar to being in the mangroves in the keys, but right in our backyard! If you dont have a kayak. There were at least 3 tour companies that launch out of that spot and some for very reasonable prices ($40 per person for 2 hours).

Nice small park with a boat launch and separate Kayak launch located behind the restrooms. Good clean restroom. A wood dock that people were fishing off of and a tour boat came to pick up customers there too. Make sure you have a map and gps, there are wide canals and also some very small areas you can squeeze through in a kayak but it would be very easy to get turned around in the mangroves. These are all protected mangrove islands, no place to stop and get out of your boat. Couldnt see much in the water but saw lots of birds.

Wish playground was shaded, wish all 3 ramps were clearly marked. The ramp to enter that has a gentler bottom for drag entry is kind of hidden. No water foutain found near the bathrooms. We really enjoyed the long dock, especially since tall bushes provided some shade. We brought chalk and enjoyed that area as others in our party used a kayak.

Park is great, boat ramp, and an area to launch your kayak. I make the drive from Orlando. Honestly Id avoid this area water quality has really dropped....Went from super clear water were you could sight fish and see stingrays from your kayak to coffee like clarity.....Im sure it has to do with sewage, runoff, or brown algae.....UpdateStopped in Feb 2019, the water color has improved from Dark brown to yellow but visibility is still poor
