What a great tour!!! My husband and I enjoyed getting to see parts of Chattanooga that we wouldn’t have otherwise seen. Getting to hear about some of the cities history that has led to ghost sightings was fascinating. Jason was a great guide, super knowledgeable and personable. For sure would recommend the Chattanooga Ghost Tour!

Im pretty sure pre covid 19 this tour was more engaging. However the lack of being able to enter said places puts a sense of disappointment in the air. The tour guide was amazing and did his best with what he had but honestly you can only spin a story so much. Storytelling great, lack of content.

This was fun! Even with the covid stuff, it was neat to hear about some of the history of Chattanooga and see some of the places I wouldnt have seen if I hadnt went. Our guide, Jessica, was fun and I really liked her personality. Walking around a new city at night is always fun and throw in some haunted history, makes for a fun night. The tour lasted around an hour and a half

Wasn’t great! I heard it was a lot better. We didn’t really go anywhere that creepy and it was pricey. Think they are in it for the money. :/

Jason was an amazing tour guide. This was our first ghost tour and we’re extremely excited for the next one! Extremely informative and saw some great things! Highly suggest to anyone and everyone whose looking for something fun and interesting to do. Awesome history to hear as well!

Went on our first ever ghost tour. Had a great guide, very knowledgeable. He shared many interesting ghost stories in addition to Chattanooga city history. Id highly recommend this tour.

The tour was a good length... enough to cover a decent portion of downtown but not too much walking or so long that we were looking forward to it to being over. Our guide Maria was great! She was very knowledgeable and animated. I’d definitely do it again!

Couldnt find the place stood there and called them like it said to if we had trouble finding them with no answer and the building that is directly behind tazikis had a for sale sign so it looked like the place was closed. Called an uber to go back to the hotel and after we got picked up n about 2 blocks away they called back and asked if we had trouble finding the place.. um yea and yall didnt answer and it looks like the place is for sale so we went back to our hotel and just lost out on that money.. not happy

I love ghost tours because theyre a good way to get a crash course in some of the citys history. This tour was no different - Amy was very kind with good humor and Jack was a great storyteller to have show us around. Before we started we got a crash course on what to look for in photos and were shown some examples of photos that had been taken by people on tour previously. Jack did a great job keeping the group attentive. Fun way to spend an evening if you love a spooky story (even if youre a skeptic).

We had a great time!! Donny was our tour guide. We had a great amount of activity with two of the ghosts. He was very informative and we definitely will be coming back to see him.

This was a good tour. Some standard horror stories from how things in the south were, same as any old city, but the stories were fun and the scenery was great. Prepare to be panhandled on the walk back to your car or hotel though.

We did the UTC cemetery ghost hunt on 6/3/2020. Was very fun and interesting and got a photo of what appears to be a woman in a white dress standing in the cemetery. The guide was very nice and was overall a good experience.

Wasnt sure what to expect from this but wound up having a really good time! Our guide Joan was very engaging and kept things interesting and had a really good handle on all the history behind the sites we visited. Even as a Chattanooga resident I learned some local history I hadnt heard before, like the existence of a Chattanooga underground and a story I wont spoil about a VERY famous person passing away in a very disreputable establishment. Being a ghost tour, there was also a fair amount of discussion of ghosts and of course the tour takes such things seriously, including alleged pictures of previous sightings but thats part of the fun and doesnt distract from the history. Recommended!

With fall coming up this is the perfect activity for the family! SO fun!!

All the bad reviews either seem to be from people that don’t know how to research what it is or how to make reservations. I’m amazed they knew how to leave a review being that airheaded. The tour was fun. Our guide Maria seemed to enjoy herself and was very patient with questions and let us take our time taking pictures. Although I don’t believe in ghosts, I still felt spooked by the stories. We didn’t get to go in places because of COVID, but once it’s over I wouldn’t mind doing it again to go inside the areas we missed.

Our tour guide Jessica was very professional and really kind! She is an amazing tour guide! I highly recommend her! There is walking on the tour which I enjoyed but might be something others would want to know. Made for a great history of the place as well!

My friends and I had so much fun! The guide was funny and informative, we loved being able to use the ghost hunting tools and chilling with Anna the coffee loving ghost. Would definitely recommend for a fun evening downtown!

Joan was such a great guide! I would definitely recommend this as a first-night-of-the-trip activity. We enjoyed walking around Chattanooga, getting kind of a first look at the city, while learning some history and seeing some great photos of possible paranormal activity in the places we were visiting. Saw and learned way more about Chattanooga than I would have had we just been on our own.

At first I was skeptical but I am so glad I went. It was very enjoyable. We seen some cool things and heard some great stories. Our guide was very informative. Would highly recommend!

We had a really good time walking around Chattanooga at night, and we got to hear about the really cool history that the city has. Our tour guide was great, and she was really knowledgable about the area!

Would highly recommend the Murder and Mayhem tour! My husband and I went lastnight 2-22-2020 and our tour guide was Jessica. She was an absolute delight! Energetic, knowledgeable, and hilarious!! 10/10 would definitely recommend Parking is a bit tricky, I would recommend getting there early or getting dropped off.

My son and I went last night and had fun. The history of the area was pretty interesting, but the stories didnt make much sense in some of the locations. I have an eye for detail and could pick out some things that to me were bunk. Otherwise, if you want to walk off dinner, and enjoy some sights, its worth the money.

A very fun experience with legit equipment. Dale was our guide and he did an awesome job. I will always remember this. The night time cemetery tour is well worth the wait. This company is great and was worth every penny. The oculis said things to me that no one else knew.

It’s actually a great way to pass some time at night (especially when my partner and I aren’t into drinking). Nice little 1.5 hour walk. I’m definitely a spiritual person but was honestly disappointed that the entire tour sounded really false; most if not all the stories told sounded so fabricated. I felt like that during the tour, and after we got back to the car I immediately pulled out my phone to fact check three different things/historical facts I remembered her (Jessica) saying. And none of them turned out to be true.At one point when she’s making small talk with us while crossing the street, she said that there are giant fishes that can swallow a human being in the river next to us that have been eating people kayaking/boating once in a while and urged us to not go near the water. For her to say something so far from reality, it just makes you wonder about all the history you’re hearing. This tour is consisted of horror stories you’d tell seven year olds over camp fire but not an adult who actually believes in ghosts in a reasonable manner. At least that’s how I feel. Still had a great time though because the walk is nice and the spots we visited are interesting. I have no doubt that some of the spots are haunted but I wish the tour itself could have been more fact based. I would still recommend people to do this tour because it is entertaining but just wanted to share my honest feedback here.

Vindictive towards other businesses in the space. I think shes jealous because she is a grifter that works so many different jobs and is still so bad at things.

A really enjoyable experience. Very interesting history with the fun of possible haunts along the way. Guides are great story tellers who provide the historical tale while allowing room for speculation of the paranormal and macabre. Have been twice and the second trip was unfortunately cut short sure to weather. Was given a half price refund which was more than fair considering the circumstances. Would certainly recommend and will be back for the many tour options.

We had Jack as tour guide. He was terrific. He had just the right blend of history and paranormal included in his tour. Our daughter was on crutches, and he was very accommodating and concerned for her well being. His pace was good: he took breaks for those of us not in tip top shape, but we were never bored. Highly recommend if in Chattanooga.

I went on the Murder and Mayhem tour with my husband, 7 year old son, and infant (pushed in a stroller the whole time). Jessica, the tour guide, did a great job showing us some of the historical buildings and mentioning the gruesome stories associated with them. We really loved The Read House and Underground Chattanooga stories. The tour is not like a haunted house or startling. Its more spooky like when you sit around a campfire telling tales of haunted places. It is okay for kids as far as walking and scary factors, but I will say I had to explain some things to my 7 year old like what beheaded and brothel meant. So, be prepared that they dont make it G rated for kids that are on the tour either. They may hear things that they have questions about later. I gave my son my phone to take pictures and see if he could find any ghosts in the photo, and he loved being able to do that.... we went home and continued the fun by looking through all the images. Overall, a great experience for what our expectations were and something to do at night that is family friendly.

It was fun and as expected for a ghost tour. I dont think we had one of their better guides unfortunately. But the tour itself was nice and we got some good pics.

My husband, best friend and her mother had a ghost tour last night!!! Not only was it historically informational, our tour guide, Jessica, was awesomely hilarious!! She even professionally handled a stranger walking up to join the tour midway through!! Excellent tour, we WILL be back to do more!! But only if we can gave Jessica!!!!!

We booked the Murder and Mayhem Haunted History Tour and had Jessica as a tour guide. It was a really enjoyable, entertaining, and well-researched tour. Great way to learn about local hauntings and dark history while potentially documenting some strange occurrences yourself if you bring a camera.

What an awesome ghost tour!!!! Jessica was our guide to the haunts & history of Chattanooga & she was amazing, informative , & so much fun!! I have lived in this area for most of my life & actually lived & worked in Chattanooga for 15+ years...I knew a few haunted stories but I learned soooo many new things tonight... not the least of which is that I have worked in two of the most haunted places in the city!!(that explains a few weird experiences ). My daughter & I had a blast! I highly recommend this tour for visitors & locals of the scenic city !!!

On 10/16/19 my wife and i took a tour. Had a great time Jessica our guide was awesome. Now dont know if we captured any ghosts cause we havent looked at our pictures yet, but my wife is into the ghost thing. She said she had some strong feelings in 3 of the places of many we stopped at. 1 being the old funeral home. But i would do it again.

My boyfriend and I went on the Ghost Hunt with Dale Saturday night. We had an incredible time. Dalewas awesome! Had several paranormal experiences and fot a few good pictures. We cant wait to go back!

I loved the ghost tour! Even my 4 year old brother was engaged in the hunt for ghosts. If you are ever in Chattanooga Tennessee you have to have a tour! Ask for Jack he was a great tour guide :)

Definitely a new experience that will be remembered. I was always told that ghosts were fake but this made me think otherwise. Dale, our tour guide, did a very good job and made sure to explain everything thoroughly. The technology we used on this tour was very unique in a way that made me feel like a real ghost hunter. During the tour, Dale told us many stories about ghosts and how their souls roam around in Chattanooga. These stories actually made sense, explaining why certain events happen in Chattanooga. I was especially intrigued when one of the ghosts called out my name on one of the devices used to hear ghosts. Next, we met a ghost named Paul who was a soldier in the Civil War. This experience felt real and seemed like we were talking with another human. Finally, we were cleansed with sage so the ghosts would not follow us home. This tour was definitely contained one of the most interesting experiences and would recommend it to anyone who is interested in adventuring into the haunted world.

First of all. I purchased tickets for the murder and mayhem tour. Not sure where that factored in. This tour was full of history of things that once were in Chattanooga and a neat visit to the Read House hotel. Honestly I have done some research and some the history is embellished or perhaps misunderstood (trying to give the benefit of doubt). The whole tour seemed to be pushing the fact that they are all ghost hunters and trying to drum up business for that enterprise. Being born and raised in New Orleans I have seen and felt many things leading me to believe in the paranormal. I feel Chattanooga may just be too young and the guide be stretching his stories to create a aire of paranormal. Wouldnt recommend. Go to tours in Savannah, New Orleans or elsewhere. Save your money. I really dont appreciate paying for one tour and getting another. Dale tried hard; but the whole experience left much to be desired.

I absolutely loved it! A couple hours of ghost hunting was definitely worth it! If your expecting to be scared out of your wits, visit a haunted house. If youre looking for history, and trying (successfully!) to make contact with some friendly spirits, youll enjoy it. No, nothing crazy happened, but it was an enjoyable experience for our girls weekend! I would definitely like to do it again!

Worse Hunt ever! This hunt was such a lie. I mean dale was nice but not worth the money. This was all programmed by a push of a button in his pocket. What a set up. The best thing out of this hunt was the walk. It reminded me of exercise class.

If I could rate less than 1 of 5, I so would. Completely disappointed due to the fact that my husband and I planned our day around the timing of this tour based off of their website. When we arrived at the building, the hours of service clearly posted that they should be open, but they were not. When we called, no one answered. Completely disappointed, won’t be back, and will not recommend.

We recently visited Chattanooga and went on this ghost tour. I was disappointed that the tour wasnt scary. The guide told lots of stories and we were encouraged to take pictures. Nothing showed up in any of the pictures. If youre looking for a scary tour, this is not for you.

Jack, our guide for the night, was not only entertaining as hell, he was very knowledgeable of the areas we visited. He is a fantastic bard, and knows how to capture an audience.

It’s my first time in Tennessee, & I’m a big fan of the supernatural and afterlife.Among our arrival I came across this on the internet. I was like “ yep, we’re going !”The experience was a one of a kind,one.Although I personally didn’t see any spirits , I could certainly feel them . And the equipment that was provided only validated those feelings. Between the EMF detector , the Ovilus and the spirit box , we got lots of activity.When we would ask certain questions we would get very intelligent responses in return.When it came down to my personal experience.I could sense where a spirit was or if they just weren’t there at all. I would move along the tour with the guide and look to a location before he would even get to the story and sure enough it’s where someone had died ! Mind blown! But the highlight of my night was when the spirits knew of me being a mother and also losing a child.( no one there knew these things about me) When I asked the Ovilus on the way back if my baby I lost were a boy or girl , I got “ Boy” ... that in itself was worth every penny and I needed that ... now as far as dale the guide, he is a great guy! He is very sympathetic to the spirts. Very respectful with them & that was amazing to me. Once he felt as if something wasn’t right , he would end it out of respect for them ... and that’s what you look for in a guide ... he cleanses you at the end with sage and as a Native American myself , I loved that! Thank you again for a great time . I enjoyed myself and will forever remember this experience.

Late post: we came here the Saturday before Halloween 2018. It was a fun and great experience! Our tour guide was great! We decided to do a Ghost Hunt instead. There was only one time I felt really spooked. I wish we had more activity. Overall it was a great experience.

Ghosts aren’t real, but I’m not basing my review off of that. Our tour guide was nice and enthusiastic but a little scattered. I’ve been on other tours, and the tour guide usually says “and we’re going to cross the street here” or “follow me here”. Our guide just sort of went, and we were supposed to follow. We had to jaywalk many times when there were cars coming. The tour was supposed to end at 10, and she gleefully announced at 10:15, “we’ve got time, so here’s a bonus place”. Some people like to stay on schedule.

So much fun. Jack was our guide. It was informative, educational, and a little spooky all in 1!

This is probably the best tour I have ever been on! Our tour guide was amazing! She was really sweet and wanted to hear all the stories we had! On the tour I got about 5-6 pictures,videos with ghost faces, weirdly placed toys, I think I got a orb and a full figure! Im 14 and they said ghost talk to children a lot more sometimes! I was so glad I got to go on this tour! I think that all the people that love hauntings and ghost should totally come and do this tour. Also the pictures that they took and showed us made me so excited to take my own pictures. I hope that all of the people that enjoy this come to this place. We did walk, it was really relaxing to me and my dad because it was not to slow and not to fast. We had a rather small group, there were I think 9 (me and my dad and the tour guide and her son)! We had fun. Hope was great at telling the history behind the ghost stories. It was cool to find out that the tour ended at the read house where we were staying. Very intriguing history. Glad we did the tour. I didnt catch anything but my cousin thinks she may have caught one orbs at the read house near our room! Pretty cool. Thanks Hope!

Me and my wife went on the Ghost Hunt with Hope. This was the best ghost tour I have ever been on and Hopes knowledge of the paranormal and history of the locations we visited is why I give it an A+. Even if youre a skeptic, you will enjoy it if you like history. Hope is very friendly and went out of her way to see that everyone got their moneys worth. We cant wait to do the other tours when we return. I promise you wont be disappointed!
