Beautiful trail. Not too difficult, but still a challenge. Definitely aim for colder times of the year, or rainy season after a good storm to see the waterfalls in full effect.

Great hike for both novices and more experienced hikers alike. The first mile is pretty easy, but the last quarter mile makes up for it in steepness. I was huffing and puffing, but so was the dog.

My wife and I hiked it this past weekend after several days of rain. There were 2 beautiful smaller creeks we crossed along with the larger falls that we hiked to. Overall a beautiful hike especially after the rain

My wife and I hiked this trail from the trailhead off River Canyon Road to the Davis Pond camping area. Due to the drought in the area there was but a trickle of water. Pretty but dry. As for being a moderate hike we would have to debate that. We have hiked many, many trails and this one, especially from the falls to the Camp Ground, was one if the more rugged due to elevation and rocky terrain. It was worth every step but according to the elevations the rise is closer to 1100 feet from the trailhead to the Camp Ground with much of it continuous. It was a great hike but we were mentally prepared for one type and got another but so worth it.

Good trail. The falls where dried up, however, what gives this 5-stars is the public accessibility to the river. The trail parking lot is near a public access point perfect for fishers, and stinky travelers needing a place to bathe.
