In addition to making great whiskey, Chattanooga Whiskey offers guided tours of the distillery and a whiskey tasting. Our guide was Smiley, who was friendly, courteous, and incredibly knowledgeable on the history of whiskey in Tennessee, history of the Chattanooga Distillery, and the whiskey making process. She answered all our questions in detail, and her infectious enthusiasm made the tour all the more enjoyable.After the tour the distillery offers a whiskey tasting, which in our case featured their 91 and 111 Whiskeys, a white whiskey barely aged (one week), a coffee liquor, their new rye whiskey, a cocktail (Sazerac) made with the 91 Whiskey, and an experimental whiskey. Each offering was explained in detail by our server, Alex, who also showed both detailed knowledge and an enjoyment of his job. Knowing that I would enjoy the 91 and 111 Whiskeys, I was pleasantly surprised by the rye and the coffee liquor, while the experimental whiskey was phenomenal. Needless to say I left with a case of mixed bottles of the three offerings I cannot purchase at home.I highly recommend this tour to any whiskey lover, and for a great time ask for Smiley as your tour guide and Alex as your bartender.P.S. They were also kind enough to care for our standard poodle, Sofia, while we took the tour. I dont know how they could be more friendly.

Four of us went for the tour and were fortunate to get Parker who led us through the history of the area, the company and then shared the process of whiskey making. He was patient with all our questions and made the trip well worth while. At the end of the tour is the tasting, where Parker passed us to Caleb, who gave us a description of each variety of whiskey. Thank you guys for a fun experience. I highly recommend this experience if you find your way to Chattanooga. Which I will add is very much worthwhile too.

Allie and Britt are amazing! My wife and I just did a tasting and were blown away by how kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable these two were.

So this is my second time here. I did a tour before they started brewing their own bourbon and whiskey. I put Alex through his paces and asked the hard questions and he 100% answered every question I had. Allie, Kat and Parker also totally catered to any need we had at the bar and made sure that we were safe and sanitary. If I could give 6 stars I would. Caleb was great too.

My boyfriend and I went on a tour with Smiley and Sarah who were both awesome! Both very knowledgeable as well as personable and funny. The tasting at the end of the tour was also great and we both bought our favorite whiskey on the way out. The tour was just us and the tasting at the bar was socially distanced if you are concerned with covid. Awesome experience overall, we will likely go back when we are back in town.

The husband and I had the best time at the experimental distillery. Caleb was the coolest of cool, and explained all of the unique aspects of that specific distillery, as well as some on the other site. Everyone was super kind and knowledgeable. We can’t wait to go back!

Chattanooga Whiskey experience was fantastic! It was apart of our girls trip activities. We were visiting from Atlanta!! The place is so beautiful,clean, and the WHISKEY is even better! We took a tour with PARKER who was the sweetest! I know a lot more about whiskey now because of Parker! He provided exceptional customer service! We enjoyed ourselves! We will definitely be back! The two girls in the front(didn’t catch there names) were also great too! We got whiskey,macaroons, bandanas, shot glasses,and even the special syrup! I look forward to visiting again!

I must say on behalf of my family we had a great time with our guide, Katelyn I believe. She had mustard colored pants and burgundy colored top. She answered all our questions, very informative and patient. It’s nice to see a home town distillery making its mark. We also enjoyed the tasting room and descriptions of the six different flavors. Both bar tenders a pleasure to speak with. We all went home with our bourbon of choice. Will be back.

We’re in town for our Honeymoon and have been to quite a few distilleries before (and are going to Jack Daniels tomorrow) We stopped by for a tour to fill in some time and were incredibly impressed at our tour given by Alex! He was extremely thorough and although we have been to distilleries before we walked away learning a lot! We loved hearing about the Vote Whiskey campaign and of course tasting the whiskey! Katherine and Caleb were very helpful through our tasting pointing out the different selections. Everyone there was in masks and I felt extremely safe and socially distanced, too!

We did the tour while in vacations, I can only say good things about the tour, it was very instructive, for someone like me who doesnt know a thing about whisky this turned out to be an interesting and enjoyable experience, due to covid they are only doing private tours, so it felt really nice to be just me and my husband as we got to do a lot of questions, also our guide Smiley was patient, nice and answered all our questions in detail. I would recommend to call and reserve the tour if you are thinking about it as they fill up pretty quick, they will request you to deposit the money for the tour upon reservation.

Had a great experience and the whiskey samples were delicious.. ended up taking two bottles home. Caitlyn is a great tour guide, answered all my questions, and Catherine a great bartender and answered any question I had about the different whiskeys and about the area. History that was shared and seeing their barrel room was great. Our guide Smiley was wonderful and tasting bartender Kate was great as well. Coffee liqueur was my fav. Bought a bottle as I went out.

This place is so awesome. What an affordable activity in the heart of Chattanooga! Katherine was amazing and super knowledgeable/helpful. We know very little about whiskey and learned a ton today.Also, they were playing Amanda Shires (incredible). I would highly recommend this for anyone coming to Chatt for a weekend, a week, or even if you live there. It took about an hour and we liked everything that we tried.

Highly recommend Katelin as a tour guide. She was most helpful in answering any questions we had about all the history and equipment in the distillery. Katelin had so much information about the history, the process, and the differences between their whiskey and all of the others.

Which we appreciated, but didn’t do because her tour was so good.At the tasting, Parker took great care of us and another couple. There was great measures taken to feel safe- wear a mask until you get to your spit at the bar, then socially distanced from the other groups. Parker even gave us excellent hiking options for the weekend.Overall, Chattanooga Whiskey was awesome. A unique distillery.

Such a great place to visit and take a tour though. Went here a few years ago and they have only gotten better. The tour is engaging and interesting and the tasting is great at the end. Our tour guide this time was Parker and he was a delight.

We went to the distillery on a whim to find something to do during our spontaneous trip to Chattanooga. Alex, our tour guide, was very fun and informative. Visited Chattanooga Whiskey last weekend with my husband. We did the tasting flight. The staff friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the whiskey. Capacity was limited but I enjoyed a more intimate experience. Would visit again.
