The bird egg museum was nice. The employees were very friendly and helpful. This was a peaceful place to visit. The trails were not as pretty as I expected. There was a stream that was peaceful. Mosquitoes were still pretty bad in October. We didnt see any birds.

Nicely maintained trails. We were disappointed the swinging bridge it closed but its a great place to come and picnic and enjoy nature right in the middle of town. We will definitely come back to explore

This place offered some great trails. Would have been 5 stars but a lot of the trails aren’t very visible or barely maintained. Had a lot of fun crossing the creek.

On our Fall Break trip as a family we stopped by this place on the way back from Chattanooga, Tennessee we decided to stop and visit this place due to its part of the Trail of tears. We hiked a couple of trails and enjoyed our time here. As we hiked the trails we used a free app to hear about the sites and plants that surround us. As we finished our trip we went in the gift shop to look around and buy a couple of things to help us remember our time here. I would highly recommended stopping here as you pass through to see and witness a part of history that is not often talked about in this area of the country.

Ideal for hiking. Unfortunately not free. There are other nature parks in Hamilton County that are free & ideal for hiking too.

Interesting break from the hustle and bustle in the gunbarrel area. Take time for a stroll thru the park after stopping at the visitor center.
