How do I describe my experience.. its hard, the whole thing was absolutely fantastic. We went down to the area twice in one weekend. I hope the folks that live there know how lucky they are to have such a beautiful place. The architecture, the food, the sites, the whole thing. Tennessee people are just the best at the hospitality thing. Ill be back. Thank you ️️

We like to walk around the area and visit the local shops. Feels like youve teleported to a small Italian village. I love spending time in the Art District and sittimg in the gardens overlooking Veterans Bridge. Please support the local businesses here! And check out the Hunter Art Museum while your in this area. Coolest part of downtown in my opinion.

This is a very beautiful district. The chimes sound wonderful and add to the ambiance and whimsy as you explore several of the small businesses, including the exceedingly excellent coffee house nearby, Rembrandt’s Coffee. The magical memories I treasure from the short time spent here can be yours too.So smile and enjoy the people.

Small quaint artisan area that is unique with the most beautiful views of art and views over the Tennessee River. Bikeable and walkable with some of the best culinary experiences in the area. Sitting just to the edge of downtown this area is welcoming and relaxing. Great place to sightsee or meet friends and to view art inside or outside the museum. Wonderful vibe added to the diversity of the area.

I just had the rudest encounter with some man putting a sign on my car that said the lot was reserved for Bluff View patrons. Which I was. My friend and I had just had breakfast at Rembrandts. The man went in to argue with us over where we “should” have parked... I guess we weren’t close enough to Rembrandts for his taste. When we kindly stated we had been parking here for years and doing our walk/breakfast dates, he said “there is no way to explain this to people who don’t understand business.” My friend is a business owner. I’m a minister. But because we are young-ish females, the assumption is we can’t understand business. I don’t understand rude, sexist men. I don’t understand how that works with your business model Bluff View. It is a bad look. I won’t be giving my money to businesses that assume I’m an idiot because I’m a female. I encourage others to consider this as well.

The Bluff View Art District looks very nice. The reason I gave it a one star is because of the ridiculous photographer restrictions that they make you abide by. As a pretty avid photographer I have taken photos all over the country and I have never seen such strict guidelines anywhere. Especially not for a community. I would not give them the light of day paying $75.00 for a photographer’s pass that you must file for a minimum of a week in advanced. There is much more beautiful places for photographers in this area that are free. I would try one of those.

My family and I have been LONG time patrons of both Rembrandt’s and Tony’s. We just stopped in and parked to walk around a bit before walking around on the bridge. My plan was to grab a coffee before leaving the area after we walked around a while. We were told (very rudely) by who I believe to be the owner, that we were not to park there unless we were “certain” we were going to eat at Rembrandt’s or Tony’s and we needed to move immediately. Needless to say, we left — with both of my young nephews in tears. I will be sure to tell my friends how unwelcome we felt.
