My wife and I had our Fall Couples Pictures taken here at Coolidge Park and I must say it was beautiful! The landscaping and backdrop of the bridges was breathtaking. Would love to come back and just relax here one day!! I have to say this is a must-see for anyone visiting the Chattanooga area and a great location for photography. 5/5 for sure!

My family loved this park. We walked across the bridge and then had a picnic in the park. It has a great view at sunset along the edge of the river. Nice place to walk around and relax. Many people were playing frisbee, soccer, spikeball, and such. Highlight of our trip to Chattanooga.

This park was massive, and luscious. Right on the waterfront, and enough space for guests to practice safe social distancing. Lavs were spotless and there was a food truck nearby. Will definitely be back!

Coolidge park is really great for the occasional picnic or outdoor recreational activity. It doesn’t usually seem overly crowded. The reason I knock off a star is because pets are not allowed within the park itself, which I have gotten “in trouble” for but then when I go without my own pets someone is playing fetch with theirs in the park. I understand that a lot of people suck at cleaning up after their pets, but I wish enforcement was a little more consistent.

It was a bit hot during the 2 oclock hour, so I suggest going mid morning or evening if sensitive to heat. There are shafts spots and nice benches with wonderful views. It is close to Renaissance Park as well which has sculptures and river view. We found BBQ spots and lots of tables in one area. 10/10 will go back.

This is a beautiful park bordering the Tennessee river great for decompressing after a long day at the aquarium or work. I enjoyed the ice cream at clumpies nearby and the taconooga tacos. The experience would not be complete without the bridge and this park! What a great job of the city on this one!

Nestled along the Tennessee River, Coolidge is a great gathering place. Outdoor Chattanooga is located here, a great resource for those seeking adventure in the outdoors. Kids love the water fountains and the old-time carousel. Launch your kayak or SUP at the small-craft ramp under the Market St bridge. Play frisbee or fly a kite on the expanse of grass. Or just stroll along the river.

The park is a gorgeous place to hang out on a nice day. Plenty of open spaces to play, read a book, or just lay on a blanket and people watch. The carousel is beautiful and carved by local artists. Fun for kids of all ages! The fountain outside has carousel themed animals, and though off in winter, is still a great photo op. Stairs lead to the walking bridge which gives you fantastic views of both sides of the river and its convenient to many restaurants, stores, the Hunter museum and more. Coolidge Park also offers events throughout the year. Definitely a great place for everyone!

Coolidge has been a memory of mine since childhood. I enjoyed coming here for field trips with my school, as well as play days with my friends and family. We now have carried on the tradition by bringing our son! He loved playing in the water fountain and the beautiful carousel. We got some family pictures with the iconic walking bridge, and made priceless memories. Always a great day at the park!

This is a great place for a quiet stroll right next to the busyness of Frazier. Interesting art work, great views across the Tennessee river to the Hunterdon museum and of course, the Walnut Street pedestrian bridge. Frequently used for public and community events. Adjoins Renaissance Park, which is quieter and has a major tie to local history, including a monument commemorating the start of the Trail of Tears.

So if youre looking for somewhere outdoors, with art, a place where dogs can go(on a leash), peaceful, or to sit in the shade and eat lunch its here. Be responsible, be safe, and enjoy the park.

Absolutely gorgeous park, extremely well-manicured with beautiful landscaping, sporadic benches to sit on, and a mix of structures and large open grassy areas. We brought a few balls to kick around with our friends and their kids, and there was still plenty of space between us, other kids playing, people having picnics, etc. They have an indoor carousel (amazing) and an outdoor fountain of animal statues that spout water from their mouths (it was shut off for winter, but all the kids still really enjoyed climbing on them!).The walking bridge was my favorite part with incredible views over the water, trees, and looking out towards the mountains. It was clean and safe for toddlers (and many people were out walking with their pups as well!). Its long enough to get a good jaunt in, so legit exercisers were using it in addition to people just taking a stroll. It warmed my heart to see a everyone happily getting along and brought together by this beautiful space. Walking distance to restaurants and such is great as well.

The carousel is beautiful and carved by local artists. Fun for kids of all ages! Its a thriving area on nice days with lots of room for throwing a Frisbee or football around. The splash pad is a really good place for kids to play when its hot, and the surrounding restaurants and shops are high quality as well. Its long enough to get a good jaunt in, so legit exercisers were using it in addition to people just taking a stroll. Parking isnt free but its fine you can park and walk to most downtown Chattanooga attractions. Lots of open space to enjoy a picnic. A fountain for the kids to play in and the coolest merry go round.
