This was my first escape room.! We did the awakening. My adrenaline was pumping the whole time trying to figure everything out before we ran out of time.!! The rooms were neatly decorated. I love how you really put thought into figuring out the clues. I love a challenge and a good mystery.! The owners are the best! I can’t wait to go back to this location to do all the rooms!

This was my first experience at an escape room. Ive always thought it would be boring. We went for my brothers birthday. It exceeded my expectations. We had a ball! We took on the bank vault and got away with the cash and 3 minutes to spare.

Really great experience. The introduction was unexpected and stimulating, no spoilers but it was really good as well. The puzzles were varying in difficulty within the room. Each room has a difficulty level listed so keep that in mind when booking. We had 4 of us and that was enough to work with but not so many as to get in each others way.

Puzzles were good, rooms were nice but the story was lacking a ending. Other than that had a great time with friends.

Excellent. The awakening was very unique, fun concept. The hunted was also well planned and thought out. Fun yet challenging. The Game master we had was on point and fast when we asked for clues. Very friendly place with excellent escape rooms.

Outstanding experience! We went in a group of four and did the “Speakeasy” room. It was top notch and actually involved thee rooms. We called Escape Mission after doing another local game and they were getting ready to close. The owner stayed open late to accommodate our party and It proved to be the icing on the cake for our night out. 5 stars all the way.

Best escape room we have ever been to! It wasn’t too hard or too easy. Took a 7 year old and an 11 year old and they were both able to work on solving the room. The owner was so helpful and accommodating. We were not rushed or pressured at all. Will definitely go back!

So much fun! I have done several escape rooms and this company is by far the best. We did The Hunted first and then Speak Easy. They looked amazing and had awesome yet challenging puzzles/games to figure out. Loved Escape Mission Chattanooga. Would highly recommend.

Really enjoyed their The Hunted escape room! The facility was nice and clean and our instructor/guide was friendly and did a great job. Our entire group was pleased and I would recommend it to others.

The rooms are high quality and unique. The puzzles are also unique. Unfortunately, the two rooms I did, the Tesla room and the castle, had completely linear puzzles, so for large groups, you will just stand around watching with nothing to do. There are only a few puzzles that are very time consuming in both of the rooms I did. The rooms need more puzzles rather than making you waste time by running up and down the stairs.

My wife and I had never been to an escape room before, but this was exciting and makes for a great night out! The intricate details that the owners, Eric and Kim have created in these themed escape rooms were beyond what we had imagined them to be. Time went by so quick because our group was having so much fun figuring out clues and working together with each other to solve the hidden mysteries of each room and piece everything together to move on and break out of the rooms. You really wont want it to end and will want to come back again and again. It truly is THAT MUCH FUN!

Awesome staff, awesome rooms, awesome experience!I have tried a lot of escape rooms and this one is now at the top of my list. They are extremely creative and incooporate fun for each type of thinker. I did all of their rooms and cant wait for them to think of more.This is a great activity for your employees or just a fun night out with friends. They are right downtown so a group of us did one of their escape rooms then were able to walk to a near restaurant for drinks and food. Super easy to park and meet everyone.Thank you for a job well done!

We did The Hunting mission & were able to escape with only 3 minutes remaining on our time!I must say that the mission was challenging & we really enjoyed the teamwork with our friends!! Cant wait to go back for our next mission!

I have done all of the escape rooms in Chattanooga, and Escape Mission is by far the best! The room themes are awesome and the way that they are designed kept me guessing until the end. So happy they opened in one of the nicest parts of town too!

Just escaped from The Graveyard room! So much fun. There were 8 of us and we escaped with about 11min remaining. Amazing props and atmosphere. Would highly recommend this room.

Ive always been one to guess the end of a mystery film or novel correctly, so I wasnt expecting to be so stuck in an escape room! The stories are so incredibly creative and the clues to help you get out are even more so. Madesyn was a fantastic hostess as well. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Recently found this place. Every bit as good if not better than their in town competition. Several things that make their experience unique. Plan on going back for all of their rooms.

Everything was so fun from the moment entered the building!! We did the Speakeasy room. This was a unique, non-linear room, that kept us interested and challenged the entire time. We managed to escape with the help of two clues from the exceptionally friendly Madison:)

Had a great experience at the Escape Mission. The owner and his staff are great! We did the Speakeasy Room and found it immersive from the moment we walked in. We have tried other games before, but nothing compared with the Escape Mission. It is truly second to none.

From the time we walked in the door until we left we had an excellent time. Took my staff for a Team Building exercise and we laughed and worked hard at finding and figuring out the clues. I would recommend to anyone.

We used Escape Mission for the team building portion of a corporate event and they made my job as an event planner so easy! My husband and I have done nearly all the Escape companies in Chattanooga, and this IS the best. Breakout is great at professionalism, cohesive storylines, and linear games. Escape has amazing rooms. Escape Mission COMBINES THE TWO for an epic win. We played The Hunted and CANNOT wait to go back for Speakeasy and (coming soon) Bank Heist.Eric is a super guy, and I cant wait to see what else their awesome team comes up with!

First time going to an escape room. There was only two of us in our group. We had a great time!! Taylor was super helpful & she thoroughly explained everything to us. Loved it!!

We had seven family members in our group we had the most fun. The staff was helpful and funny. We are all looking forward to going back to do the other rooms !

I like that you start having fun the moment you walk in. The employee who helped us was very friendly. The price was fair and the puzzles we had to solve were good. Not too padlocky which is always a plus if you have done lots of these escape rooms before. The big downside (at least for The Hunted) was a lack of atmosphere. Other escape rooms really dress up each area of the escape to make you feel like you really are in a house, or a jail, or wherever. Plain concrete and drywall with tools and clues hanging on them isnt very immersive and detracts from the fun. Overall its worth it if you like doing escape rooms, but there are better places to escape from in Chattanooga.

We had a little bit of a bumpy start with Escape Mission, but we are glad we saw it through.We visited their location during the day on a Tuesday. The website said they were open, Google said they were open, so we decided to do a walk-in to see if we could schedule all four of their rooms that day. We drove over and…they were not open.Now it’s perfectly understandable that places with smaller staffs may close their doors when they don’t have any rooms booked, but this should be VERY CLEAR on their site – we double-checked and it’s not. So we called their number and were led to a generic voicemail that made us unsure if we were reaching the business or not. We left a message and while waiting for a response figured, what the heck, let’s book their next room online and we will see what happens.About 20 minutes later we received a call back and it was smooth sailing from there on out. So the bottom line here is that it’s not only better to call or book in advance, it’s potentially required.The facility has affordable paid street parking. Better yet, simply talk to the staff and they will let you park for free out front in the limited spaces they have. There are also a lot of options for escape room refueling and/or debrief beverages – we chose Basecamp Bar & Restaurant.Once the time came for our booked room, Escape Mission was very much open and ready to accept us in style – hairstyle that is! The entry is decorated to look like a salon and once there you receive a phone call informing you that you must solve a puzzle to obtain entry to the escape facility. SO MUCH FUN!Once in we were greeted by the absolutely delightful Miriam and Madison who, upon finding out we wanted to do all four rooms, gave us complete freedom to choose our order.All these rooms were genuinely enjoyable. You won’t get the “wow-factor” of some of the more polished companies out there, but production design was solid. We did find some puzzle issues, but overall we were able to escape all four rooms within our three hint allotment. The biggest issue we ran into is that we were sometimes able to “jump the puzzle” (get further ahead than we are technically supposed to), which leads to confusion when facing a bunch of unused items. In addition, some props have become worn with time, making them difficult to understand or read.Miriam and Madison proved to be adept and super-polite gamemasters. Communication occurs through a two-way speaker system.Bank Heist is fun because instead of the usual preventing a bank heist or figuring out “whodunnit,” you are the heisters…heistees…heistmeisters. This one is math heavy, but still accessible. Speakeasy was a mix of games and bar, which led a mix of fun puzzles that can be done in parallel. Once again, there is some math involved, but this place is really good about providing calculators and whiteboards. The Awakening takes place in a creepy crypt and is a good choice for those who love the dark side.Escape Mission’s best room is The Hunted. It has a unique twist on the whole hostage situation in that you start out in separate cells, but you can see each other. Once in the killer’s cabin there were some fun and unique puzzles we hadn’t seen before. If you can do one room, we recommend this one. If you have time for a second, do Speakeasy.Most of the rooms are family friendly, except for The Awakening, which has some horror movie props and one sound related jump-scare. Bank Heist and Speakeasy are readily accessible for those with physical limitations. Awakening has a few stairs to get to the room itself and Hunted involves some crawling within the game.Another fun and unique aspect of this facility is that with every escape, each person gets to sign a key and affix it to the fence outside. This is clever and makes for a great display outside the building.In conclusion, while there were a few speedbumps with scheduling and puzzle design, this facility is worth a visit for their delightful staffs, creative twists, and overall solid rooms.The Escape Couple
