Great park and very good Disc Golf Course. The course was built in 2012 for the Disc Golf World Championship and it is still in great shape because of the hard work and dedication from members of the Charlotte Disc Golf Club.

Fun 18 hole disc golf course. Relatively wooded course, but not too difficult and maintained well. Park also has open fields for other sports, basketball courts, and baseball fields. Also paved running/walking trails.

This little park is awesome! It has an awesome play area with some serious slides for the older kids and a play area for babies and toddlers too! There is also a melodious xylophone and pair of drums for the kids to make music. There is a track that curves nicely around the entire park. Not too big that you would be intimidated to take a walk. Benches are scattered about so you can sit and watch the little ones play. Oh and the park is always super clean.Beware of the time of day you visit so you dont get caught in the schools dismissal traffic.

The park doesnt have fences to complete baseball fields. Park Ranger Tom grouped us all together and didnt let us social distance. They closed the back stops with fences for no reason. No adequate parking either. No where else in meck co does this???

Its a hidden gem! We haved walked and run at a local soccer field since March during this Covid-19 crises because all of the YMCAs indoor activities have ceased in NC. But today as we exercised, we were asked to leave the soccer field near Palisades because we are not members and we could no longer step on their property. We left and Googled a local park and this one is a jewel. The facilities are well kept! There are two fields and even flowers. You dont have to worry about being asked to leave...a beautiful place to be !!

Great walking/running path, paved and good for strollers. Disc golf course here. Two fun playgrounds, one for younger kids and another for older kids. Infant/Toddler and bigger kid swings also available. Large sport fields and basketball hoops here as well. Overall, good place to bring kids of all ages.

First time I been to this park and it is pretty nice. Seems calm and a good morning wirk out spot. It does have alot of baseball fields, so I guess parkibg could be a issue during the season. Well, at least on a normal season and not a Covid19 season.

Plantation Ruins at Winget is my home disc golf course. Its a recreational-intermediate level course with an average hole length about about 265. A few opens holes but mostly fairly tight and wooded. Theres some cool history thanks to the plantation ruins and also some tough right-angle shots around the bend. Fun course, and theres a playground, soccer fields, and basketball courts for the rest.

I take my children to this park all of time without incident but I guess it takes just a couple of unsustainable adult males to behave like animals to ruin it. I was having a lovely stroll through the trails with my small children and all of sudden I was berated and yelled at with such vile disgusting language in front of children that we shouldnt be walking through the trails because these guys were playing disc golf. The children were so upset and afraid that I dont think they will ever want to go on a trail again.
