Pretty nice trail. Very short, though really nicely done. Perfect if youre looking for somewhere to walk a dog. This location has several picnic tables, ample parking, water fountains, and bathrooms.

Great little short trail loop, with one walking board section elevated above the tree swamp. Be aware the bugs here are HEAVY during warm, humid weather. Good clean restrooms at the parking area.

Great, short trail through the woods. My 2 year old can do it with no problem. Its small, but well maintained and has a nice shelter that has a grill and bathrooms. Also has a nice ranger presence.

The parks department is aware there are an unusual amount of Coyotes here, with no warnings for people walking pets. Yes, Coyotes are everywhere in NC, but this area bulldozed a golf course to make Rea Farms at Waverly. When I drive by late at night, the coyotes are walking out of the park standing in packs by the road. Just be aware walking pets, or with toddlers. A simple warning sign would do, but theyve ignored reports of animals attacked nearby.
