Baton Rouge is doing a great job by constructing the boulevard. A great place to walk with family. At one side you will find tje old capitol, simply beautiful.

Beautiful place. Small, clean and just feels good. Music is piped in and there are tables and chairs under the ancient oaks. Lovely place to have lunch; even prettier in the quiet of the afternoon/evening.

Prices to high no shopping no public restrooms but some historical sites are good

This was the second year I went to the Festival of Lights downtown and overall it is an enjoyable experience for the whole family. There is a snow hill for sledding, a band stage, vendors village, and the Coca-Cola truck is there.At six oclock the mayor is supposed to light the squares Christmas tree, but they seem to run late every year by about twenty minutes.Immediately following the tree lighting, there is an excellent fireworks show that lasts for a lot longer than expected.The festivities start at four pm and end at nine pm. There is a fun run earlier in the day.

One of the best places to be when baton rouge has events going on. The have music and festivities all the time. Parades come for almost every holiday. Awesome

Good place.. new year celebration was nice..

Levee was closed for high river water. They had a very good RnB band. Concessions were priced well. Peaceful no incidents at large gathering.

Relaxing area to walk & see the sights. Finally we have attractions like other downtown cities instead of the ghost town it was before the 2000s.

Im not a big fan of modern art but Im glad to see Baton Rouge trying to create a place for our community to come together and enjoy this beautiful city.

Open atmosphere. Live after 5 is held here on Friday evenings from 5 until 8. With live home town bands from around the state. Great for family outings.

Nice quiet place to enjoy the scenery. I love when there are outside events like Sunday in the park. There is even a live band.

Nice public square with various fountains, some interesting outdoor art, and a music stage. Walkability and cycling paths need to be substantially improved. Nice for major events, but quiet must of the time.

Go down there. nice you get to see the city lights its peaceful

This place keeps evolving and getting better and better. Also the main location for Live After Five. A great event, which puts out lots of BR artists, but does tend to completely ignore the Baton Rouge underground music scene.

Geart place to go for a good TIME. LIVE AFTER 5, AND OTHER FREE MUSIC, ALWAYS HAS GOOD FOOD AND DRINK, ON TOP OF THE FREE LIVE MUSIC, NEVER WENT AND NOT HAD A GREAT TIME.

Went to Live after 5. Very nice atmosphere. You have custodians on site making sure everythings clean as possible. Alot of portable potties.
