The rooms and hotel were a little dated like they built it and forgot to hire a maintenance crew. The park was great my girls loved it but if u have older children they would get bored quickly. I was impressed by the continental breakfast and hey had alot to choose from and a hot bar it was great! It was nice they had an arcade in to sections of the hotel and an ice cream vending machine. Although none of the ATM s worked in the hotel it was kind of inconvenient. Everyone working the hotel and water park was very pleasant and helpful. We will definitely go back its an inexpensive little get away for us.

If your planning on having a birthday party here DONT! unless you are ok with spending a ton of money to have a bunch of clueless teenagers run your party and by run I mean sit on there phones at the front desk and ignore you. We had my daughters second birthday here in March it was a disaster, stressful and down right embarrassing. We were told we can’t put our birthday stuff in the party room until the last half hour (even though It was completely empty the entire time) so there was nowhere to put the presents or cake but our car, they were unorganized, made us run to the drink stand to get drinks and bring back to our room ONE CUP AT A TIME that was across the entire water park. Why couldn’t we get a pitcher of pop or ever water? I mean I paid over $800.... I think that’s least the 15 year olds you have running the place could have done. Every time I think of my daughters birthday I get mad and regret having it here.

Nice hotel with water park. Easy off and on access from the toll road. The employees are always friendly and are very knowledgeable. The rooms are clean and comfortable. In the evening, the small bar/restaurant offers delicious food. They have a great bartender. Great atmosphere. Its a wonderful place to eat after a long day of driving.

In the middle of a pandemic, this hotel, gave me shelter, while this veteran awaited her outcome of a very confusing situation. Good people, Great coffee, and in the middle of some fun IN Batavia.

I dont know if this hotel was only half finished, but the lack of any construction equipment leads me to believe it wasnt. everywhere i went was riddled with evidence of events from the previous night: old dishes, half cool pitchers, mounds of dirty linen, randomly strewn about trays and tray jacks. the lone, sad, childs art project of a palm tree at the entrance says it all

Slides are falling apart. Last time I was here went down the slide once. Black and blue bruises everywhere. People thought I was abused. Normally you would expect a small bruise here or there on your elbow but no I was covered in bruises.

My daughter loved it and I did two two years ago but I just went 2 days ago and it has gone nowhere but downhill. They do not maintain the place anymore. I could care less that half the arcade games are broken just the fact that there was mold on the water slides and black mold and crevices everywhere made me worried for my daughter and everyone else has kids getting sick. The place is closed Monday through Thursday. You thinkthey could drain it out Sunday night scrub it Monday and Tuesday Philip backup Wednesday and warm it back up Thursday for it to be ready on Friday. What should be done at least every couple few months but clearly thats just too much work for them. Just sad because I really liked the place and would keep going if they would maintain it properly but they could care less and just want to make money. Also its all high school kids running the show down there so you could imagine how well thats going. They need new management or different owner or else you will see this place close up within the next couple years for breaking health codes. I ADDED PICTURES OF MOLD TO PHOTOS! Im not exaggerating. I never write reviews but I had to make sure people are aware of what theyre getting themselves into because kids are involved

My kids really enjoyed coming here! Its small and simple but they really enjoyed themselves. In a parents perspective though the pools are not cleaned properly if at all. There is green mold on the walls in the pool and along the outside of the slides so I can only imagine the inside of these slides. The water is a dirty color. The arcade is small and literally 50 percent of these games have an out of order sign on them and then when you cash in your tickets more than half of the prizes are not there. I think management needs to step it up a little bit.

My grandkids had a lot of fun. But it got so packed and kids were running and not watching where they were going.

This place is the worst! Cant run, cant jump, cant play volleyball. Arcade took tokens and didnt get to play. Took my 3 Grandchildren, and I had to be with them at all the places they played. It was kinda hard if they were in 3 different places! Why have life guards if I have to be there watching them too? Im just one person! I will not be going back and I will tell everyone I know, not to go there!!

We could tell when we walked in the room it smelled funny, we thought maybe just dust. By the morning all three of us were sick. Pretty sure the smell was dust and mold. You have to pay to stand in the water area even if you don’t go in. We will not return

This place was dirty ! There was garbage all over the outside entrance had to step over someones half eatin lunch to leave. The garbage was over flowing. Also just all around disapointed with how gross people can act I mean your in public. The water was also very cold my kids swam for an hour . I much have rather spent my money on something cool for them to do at home. Im also giving two stars beacuse the lady working the front desk was very nice and helpful.

No cockroaches no holes in the couch and no nasty smell this hotel was the best thing I put my money to I enjoyed my 2 weeks there I am shore I will be coming back soon at least I Hope so my kids enjoyed this place put your money into something this it it Im telling you

The kids had a blast for the New years Eve party and really enjoyed the water park.

Fun for toddlers. Rooms are filthy. Probably the worst place ever to sleep at. The water park is semi cool but the chemicals were so strong. Go to the park. Dont spend the night. Over priced. It would have been a complete waste if my 4 year old who has fun anywhere had fun at the park. Made sure to give your kids a shower after being in the water.

Palm Island is fun. I was upset as well as my best friend it was very upset for the price that you pay everything should be working the price of it includes not only the indoor waterpark but also the pool and the pool was not in working order so it left the kids to play inside on a beautiful day and it was crowded which made it kind of hard for everybody to enjoy themselves in certain areas but overall its a good place to take kids

I checked in the room early and headed to the waterpark with my kiddos . The waterpark was small but cozy. The life guard was annoyed at a kiddo because he was splashing him. HELLO HES A KID dont roll your eye a the boys childish ways . Any way....The room was gro.When I pulled the desk chair there was some white stuff on the chair ( Ewwwww) . I checked for bed bugs.... there were some dark marks on the sheets but nothing redish ( thats an indicator of active bed bugs) . I pulled all of the sheets and there was a big stain on the sheets . In addition to that, the floors were not vaccuumed ( i found old rubber bands and peanuts on the floor ). I checked out and drove home .

Took my 8 & 10 year old there on Columbus Day and they had a blast. Small enough of a place to keep an eue on them but just big enough for them to have a good time.

I had a great time. The water slides are pretty slow but the hot tub is full of bleach and chlorine. I couldnt really take a breath in there. My room was pretty. Nice beds and the rooms are clean. The only thing wrong is that the closet is kinda messy. Other than that its really good for younger kids too. I would come back again.

Convenient enough with a snack bar and food. Also the arcade is nice for the kids to play in. HOWEVER, it was riddled with cockroaches in the changing room/bathroom and even saw them out amongst the tables. Not fond of paying for entertainment for my children and being afraid of bringing such pests home with us.

Come on guys... You can afford new beds with the money we spend .. Add another pool, pretty sure it had dead things floating in it

Please, please, please read these reviews. I would have rather given each of my kids the $20 to pick a place and spend it. This place is dirty and falling apart. The place for the young children to play safely was full of rust and older, like 12-16 year old kids running and going down slides they could hardly fit on. My 2 year old was knocked down several times. One of the lifeguards was allowing children down the slide one after another causing chaos at the end. She did not even watch them. It was more important to flirt. The food was just ok. The kid at the register was more worried about talking than doing anything. Couldnt remember anything I told him and had to repeat my order several times. Took a total of about 20 minutes for my simple order. The only thing they had to cook was 2 chicken tenders. Also, there was an employee eating in plain sight, where food was being prepped. Lastly, the reason I abruptly made my kids get out and we left, there were roaches climbing the rocks in the water park. Overall, worst experience ever. Couldnt even wait in line of the employees talking to complain. After a certain time the place is run by teenagers. Good luck.

The hotel was disgusting!! Our room smelled like stale cigarettes, the sheets were not washed there was a huge yellow stain on them, the bathroom toilet flooded. It had water leaking all over, we had to keep towels around it to prevent the water from leaking into the room. Informed the front desk but didnt fix the problem. The water park was even worst. There was rust all over the slides, the water was so cold, the basketball area water was questionable- it had this urine smell to it. We paid 172 for 1 night and 4 pass to the water park. Cheap but you get what you pay for. We made the best out of out stay for our kids. I would not recommend this place to anyone nor will I be coming back.

Had a party for my 10 year old reserved. Reservation made online after calling and being told to do it online. The only l time I could choose was 3:15. We get there a little before 3:15 and are directed to the water park only to find it doesn’t open until 3:30. Was told 3 times someone would meet me there to discuss. No one opened the door. Had to pound on the door after 3:30 just to get them to open it to find a long line I then had to wait another 10 minutes in, the whole time I’m alone with 7 kids. The staff was not apologetic at all. In fact they copped an attitude with me! I had my reservation pulled up showing 3:15. The whole thing was a mess. The kids did enjoy the water, so I’m grateful for that. Also, I did not stay in that hotel as they would not accommodate me. I needed reservations for connecting rooms and they would not do it saying they couldn’t guarantee that. Isn’t that what a reservation is for?!?! I went to another close by hotel who completely accommodated me and was very lovely. I will never be going back here

Ive been here twice with my family. The first time the water was a little too cold (although the kids didnt seem to mind at all). The second time the water was a perfect temp.

Water park was closed which was expected for the middle of the week in the fall but they dont even have an indoor pool for off season. Also arcade is pitiful and after being stuck on the far end of the hotel I also couldnt get any wifi on any of my devices while in the room. But I got plenty of signal outside the room or in the lobby just annoyingly not in my room anywhere.

This hotel and so called waterpark is absolute trash. The fact that they even charge you for it when youre staying at this hotel is a joke. EVERYTHING looks dirty and outdated. When I got here I immediately wanted to turn around and go home. They also have the nerve to charge you full price when you cant even use the outdoor pool. Horrible place. Choice needs to close or sell this property, or at the very least, drop it from their chain. Its the absolute WORST Ive ever been in, and I travel for a living.

Wasnt very impressed. We did a last minute trip. Not really suitable for kids over 6. The water was not very warm and made it uncomfortable to be in too long. The bathroom in the room was missing tiles a hairdryer and had about 6 silverfish crawling around this morning. The hotel walls were thin. Had to make up a reason to my 9 yr old what the women was moaning about last night. Also the safety lock was busted on the door and one of the tvsT didnt work. Definitely wont be back

Its fine, the pool water is fairly cold in my opinion, and when its busy, there is a line for the hot tub.Its certainly not a big, fully equipped water park, but as long as you dont expect that, the kids will enjoy it.Also, be sure to bring your own towels!

Great place for kids. Clearly, not so much for young toddlers. The arcade is fun also. Just make sure to remind them of the price before they charge you. Weekdays are cheaper. It took almost a half hour for them to refund they wrong price.

The waterpark was dirty, smelled bad, and the pools looked overall gross. They had the outside pool closed when I went and it was somewhere around 70 degrees out. The indoor pools looked foggy and dirty. The slides were kinda harsh/too fast. The one saving grace from a 1 star is the arcade room which seems well kept, if not limited. The only way you can enjoy the park is if you are probably under the age of 10. Overall a bad park once the novelty wears off. Younger kids might find some fun here.

Rooms are filthy, the entire hotel smells like an animal cage. Bedding is full of stains, carpets not vacuumed. Beer cans sitting in random places throughout the halls. Rooms not dusted and we found a dead, dried up cockroach on the heating vent. On the plus side Atleast there isnt a current infestation. The water play area was nice for the small kids however there was not much to do. One small play area, a Jacuzzi where parents gathered and a small three foot pool for water basketball. I used to love taking my kids here but after having my daughter bday party here this passed weekend I feel like it was a waste of money. I’ve had my sons birthday party here in the paste and we had a good experience. After the party room people were allowed to stay and play if they wanted. My daughter wanted to go back in for a few more minutes so I took her in. The girl we checked in with walked over and said that our party was over and everyone had to leave unless I wanted to buy more passes. The park was gonna close in an hour or so anyway so I had to tell my daughter we had to leave. Not to mention they expect to you pay a tip but they don’t really do much but bring the pizza in the room, and they didn’t even bring the right amount of pizza so some of the party had to wait to eat. We found bug in the kids drinks, and we got no apologies for that nothing! My sister and I went up to get refills, my daughter wanted water. The girl got her water and ice from the soda machine and handed the cup to my sister. My sister said “ excuse me but there’s 2 big bugs in the water” the young girl working turned and gave her a nasty look and took the cup dumped it out and refilled it. So my sister said “ there was a bug in that, can you please get her a new cup that’s nasty” the young girl got a new cup but acted like it was an inconvenience. So the staff were rude, bugs in several kids drinks and then after paying all that money the kids couldn’t stay and play just a little longer. When my son had his party never had any of those problems, and if you buy a day pass it’s $13 dollars to play for the day, I payed way more than that!Oh and I forgot to mention I had trouble scheduling the party online and spoke to several people for over an hour trying to figure it out. It said SN party 6 days or less you get an extra $3 fee for $23 a person but a regular party is $19 a person. Someone math is way off! I tried doing an online party bc there were deals you got for doing them online but it wouldn’t allow me to do so...I don’t know if this place is under new management or what but this place has went down hill and I’m really really disappointed. When my mother in law complain about everything they did give us a $20 refund but I feel like that wasn’t enough. I wonder if that’s why the staff was rude and told us we had to leave. After my daughter party being a mess bc of food, drinks and hospitality the kids should have been allowed to stay and play or a discount for next visit and an apology.

Great place for a local weekend getaway. Splash pad was clean and children were well supervised by staff and life guards. Arcade was reasonable and fun with a couple of broke down machines. Food was cheap and quality was cheap but it didnt cost much and was good enough for a quick lunch. Staff was polite and helpful. Would recommend to anyone looking for a less crazy and less expensive, closer indoor Water park to buffalo.

The water was freezing cold. I could not enjoy the basketball pool with my daughter because of water temperature conditions. My 12 year old, 18 year old son and daughter in law and myself paid $20 each just to sit in the hot tub pool full of infants and unsupervised kids because barely any one could stand the water temperature on the other pool areas. Price went rocket high since last time I was there. Waited over 1/2 hour to be served a whole pizza and a burger.

Overall the experience was fun. My family enjoyed our stay. Definitely a place to go if you have little ones. The staff was courteous and very helpful. The food at the lounge was great and was well priced. Will stay there again.

I went their with my family to celebrate my birthday on 2/2-2/3/19. I asked for a specific room because it was five of us but instead they gave me what they wanted not what I paid for. Then they told me if I wanted to switch rooms I would have to pay a additional $129. The bathroom pipes was leaking so bad their were big puddles on the floor. Pull out couch was broken and dirty. So they charge me a additional $20 for a cot. The water in the Hot tub was very dirty. The kids in the pool were throwing balls from the pool into the hot tub splashing Everyone. I told the life guard on duty she disregard me and gaved me a dirty look. I told her because she was the one standing right at the pool supervising.. The lifeguard at the hot tub told her as well and she snapped at him. I paid alot of money and had a horrible experience our family event was ruin... We will never returned there ever again. Worst hotel we have ever stay at. We have been here before,several times and it wasnt ever like this. We was told it is now under new management,it should still be maintained better than it is. Front desk attendant were unconcerned that we had three kids with us or about the unsafe health concerns we had...We check out two hours early,as we were leaving the attendant told us he was sending maintenance to our room. Now how will that help us if we are now leaving. I wouldnt recommend this hotel to anyone ever...

It was fun to go to a water park in the middle of the winter but some of the tube must go outside because its a cold ride down to the pool

We had a lot of fun. Its good for little kids. The play area is small enough for toddlers to feel independent. My complaint is the water temperature. The water was FREEZING! It was much too cold. The kids still played and didnt care much, but for parents trying to keep up with their children it is absolutely miserable. I was also surprised that the person behind the registration desk would not keep our coats and bags while we went to the arcade as we were waiting to check-in. I would love to return, but will not until there is some communication about heating the water up.

Get there as soon as they open to ensure you get a table or chairs and put towels on every chair. By mid afternoon the place is a mad house and people will take your chairs if you dont have something on them.

Honestly, I had reservations about coming here after reading some of the awful reviews people have left. It seemed like the perfect little trip for my 3 1/2 yr old granddaughter so we decided to go and form our own opinion as I always take others reviews with a grain of salt. I must say, Im glad we did..she had a ball in the waterpark, perfect for young kids, yes there is a lot of chlorine in use, but no more than I have experienced in a local YMCA or other waterparks! When you have that many people in and out of a facility like that, I was glad there was more chlorine than less! Thats what showers are for. Something to be expected in this environment! The guards and the cafe staff were pleasant and efficient, I thought the prices in the cafe were reasonable, and the menu, was what I would have expected! We reserved a suite which was clean and ready when we arrived, yes the hotel is dated and needs improvements, but for the price we paid, we were comfortable, everything was in working order and the amenities were fine for what it was. Upon checking in, the girl at the front desk was very welcoming and so accommodating! We found a little gem in the city of Batavia, called Olivers Candy! Definitely check it out they have the most amazing chocolate and delicious ice cream, a fun addition to our trip! All in all it was a perfect little trip for us, and well worth the money! The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because, yes improvements and updates are needed, and soon, but I wouldnt hesitate to visit again.Thanks for your hospitality!

Enjoyed the water park. Wasnt pleased with the confusion at the front desk about which party room we had use of. I ordered food at the start of the party & it was not ready when it was our time to use the party room to eat. Too long of a wait for food & drinks.

My friend had a party for her daughter there. The party room was not ready at the time it was supposed to be ( staff that were supposed to set it up just sat in their chair doing nothing). They said my friends could set up before the actual start time and wouldnt let them do it until it was time to start. They also ordered pizza with some being pepperoni and we got three cheese pizzas and because the kids started eating they said there was nothing they could do about it. They did end up giving them a free pizza after the comments were made but still very disappointed with the service. The kids loved the waterpark but the staff needs to work on getting things right. It was very expensive for what my friend got.

We had a great time! We visited during a baseball tournament. The rooms are outdated but clean and large. The water park was small but our kids had fun. It was well supervised. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Do not go here, went to check in and they have a bed bug infestation to the point the bed bugs are on the check in counter.

I thought it was well staffed and the water features werent brand new but everything seemed to be in good working order. We had a lot of fun with a 4 and 6 yr old. Stuff for older kids too. Heated chairs for warming up afterwards was a nice touch.

Kids loved it. They were 2 and 7 at the time. The rooms are not always nice, crappy furniture. The package deal is great. The cafe staff really needs work though, they should look more presentable when handling peoples food and they dont have all items on the menu or even advertise that they dont have them. Forget your children being watched by adults too, all lifeguards are like 15 years old.

Updated my review from a 4 to a 3. My son is 9 and we’ve been here a total of 3 times the past few years. My son loves the pool and slide and we spend hours a day there, BUT there is absolutely no ventilation in there and the smell of bleach is overwhelming, it’s like sitting in a sauna after bleach is poured everywhere. I even had to step into to hall a few times after getting dizzy and nauseous.

My daughter got weave hair stuck on her bathing suit. I complained, waited 30 mins to talk to a supervisor and he refused me a refund stating I was there all day. I said I was there for 30 mins, proved it with the receipt and he still refused. I asked him to call the owner, which he did and then said he’d refund me. He took my card, told me he refunded me and when I checked my account he charged me again rather than refunding me. I ended up just asking for the cash and that was that.

Here for a local event. Very poor signage through the lobby. If you were not familiar with where to go you may have gotten frustrated with it.As for the hotel it us very comfortable and clean. The onsite restaurant has good food, but is a little pricey. Did not have a chance to see the indoor water park, but my friends kids seem to have enjoyed it greatly.Plenty of parking.

My kids loved the park itself. Its definitely aimed for ages 3 to 10. I didnt like the fact you had to pay $15.00 per person( even just the pool). Thats a little overpriced after paying $100.00 for the hotel.

My family and I came across this restaurant on a road trip. Great service, friendly smiles and delicious food. If we ever travel through Batavia again, we will be stopping here to eat!

The room was ok...not very modern looking but it was good for one nights stay. There were a few dark spots on the sheets, which I did not like. The kids loved the water park which was the main reason for our stay. We will def be back, but wish the rooms were a little better.

Nice place to take young kids to have some cheap fun. But!! Who is managing this place? There is dust everywhere, on glass over looking water park from rooms, lighting fixtures and plastic palm trees. Also paint peeling in large pieces in multiple areas on skylights. Room was next to a concert hall n they didnt stop until 11pm. A/C didnt pump out cold enough air. Water leaked from bathroom ceiling all night. N this was after they gave us a better room than what we paid for cuz thats the only room they had left. We jus didnt enjoy ourselves.

Ugh... older property, dirt and cracks in bathroom, popcorn ceiling in bedroom and NO working WiFi! Its a water park - so lots of kids running up and down the hall... Not up th choice hotel standards. Frequent traveler but wont stay here again without some upgrades.

My ex wife asks me to take the kids here while she is in the hospital. My kids like the pool area but its usually really crowded, a lot of people leave their kids unattended, and a lot of older kids run/budge into the smaller kids. My two 13 year olds and 10 year old had a great time even though the park is made for younger kids. The hotel rooms were ok, its clean. The restaurant food was good too. If you go mondays-thursdays its less crowded than Friday and Saturday.

I just left this place was there all of 15 min. Was very excited to do an overnight getaway. Price was reasonable an my young ladies could enjoy the water park along with a 25.00 gift pass to the casino. When i arrived i paid for room, which was a smoking room. We got key. When we went up it smelled like tons of ciggeretts and dogs!!! The key wasnt working so we had to go down twice to get it correctly activated. The people across from us looked like the lived there for years and had a whole dog barking...yes. The environment on that floor looked like a place they put up folks for emergency housing not a hotel at ALL. We finally get the door open and was just in shock!!!! What hotel does this....when i called down to front desk they didnt give me another room he simply said i will send maintenance up....ummm no thank you. At the end of the day we all work hard for our money. I cant see paying 183.00 for this. Please pay attention to others reviews they are important. I over looked it as i was meeting friends...I wont ever make that mistake again. The guy at desk apologized an i am awaiting my money back on my card but if not i will call bank an have it stopped. I truly feeling like I should call attorney an sue for my gas and stress it was... well in stead of going on I will let you be the judge...this is what i open my room door too...looks like i cant add pictures so ill go too yelp...meet me there.

Kids had a great time! We stayed at the adjoining hotel twice in a months time for sporting events we attended in the area. Definitely will be going back.

Small but good for little kids. gets crowded quickly.

Today was our first time coming to the water park and we had a fantastic time! The staff was wonderful, the lifeguards were very friendly and getting after kids who werent following the rules which I appreciated. Our boys are 12 and 19 and enjoyed themselves immensely. Looking forward to coming back in a couple of weeks!

Friendly, helpful staff, clean room, restaurant attached. Great value for the price. The hotel is a bit outdated - the only reason I didnt give 5 stars.
