We come every year for 4th of July and if I do come on that day u have to get there an hour before they open or u will arrive to a line that ends in the parking lot. I love it because u can bring in food and grills and have a cook out. I also love it because they have sand so u can build sandcastles like a and I also bring my floaties. They also have a couple if like umbrellas that rain water. And they house a cool water float u can climb that the teens like and like 3 diff spots to dive or slide into the deep end. And a cool little slide for the kids. This place is just great and they have plenty of stalls and showers outside the house and inside the bathrooms and free lockers. They don’t charge u like other places but of course u need ur own lock. They just don’t have a lot of charging rooms but I used the handicapped one last time cause there was puke in it so no one used it lol. Either way I live this place. They also have a volleyball court inside and trees for shade

This place is great for families with All ages..Big and small. Water slides, balancing rafts, and kid splash area. They also have lounge chairs but they tend to go fast even though they have quite a few of them. You feel like your at a beach..you cant beat the price..also u can bring in your Own food or that have a concession stand.

Staff was wonderful and kind. You can bring in your own food with the exception of any liquor/alcoholic beverages. There are picnic tables to eat at and lounge chairs closer to the water. There is a half slide with a 5-7 foot drops and 2 platforms to jump off of! Locker rooms with showers and lockers. We had a good time!

This is truly a wonderful water park, safe for young children and plenty of high dives to challenge the teenagers and brave parents. Attentive life guards viewing all six swim areas, plus very reasonably priced lunch snacks. Plus several barbecues on stands in the grassy tree area for those bringing charcoal and fresh meats and marshmallows to enjoy. The swim water is fresh, and they have warm showers in the changing rooms. All-in-all this is absolutely a superb value for anyone wishing clean family fun while catching a tan. Howard

This was a quarry a long time ago. It has been a swimming spot longer than it was a quarry. Dont let the name fool you, this is a combination of water park, swimming hole, and beach. There are also shaded picnic tables. You can bring bring your own food and there is a place to buy snacks. A great place to spend the day.

The only thing that is really bothersome is their music....loud through their speaker system. If you dont like it- too bad. It actually makes me consider finding another place to spend my summers and forgo passes

We had a great time here. Great sort-of hidden local gem. Super fun for kids, very reasonable concessions, really friendly staff. Just an all-around good time.

Very cool place but the water is ice cold... I wish just the chill could be taken out of it. Im not a fan of the cold but my 7 year old turned blue the one time and it was pretty hot outside...

It really is a quarry. The entire pool is covered with sand, even the deep end! Though not crystal clear waters, but at least your eyes wont burn from too much chlorine.

What a horrible experience. Everything is dirty. The picnic tables to the chairs are covered in dirty sand, that is if you are lucky to get one of the few chairs. Most are broken anyway, so your are forced to sit on the unkept sand. Life guards are not watching the water and one was even dancing to the very loud music. There is a break every hour and the break does not start until everyone is out of the water. By the time they get 200 to 300 hundred people out of the water there is only about 30 minutes of swimming per hour. I have never seen this type of break before. The Naperville Quarry (Centennial Beach) or Otter Cove, are much better places to spend your money. By the way the prices are equal and achieve a much cleaner, safer and more fun experience.

Excellent place to sit out with your friends and family. The water is colder but it felt so refreshing on a hot day. You can bring a cooler and your own food which was nice. Also admission is fairly priced.
