Like a old school blast from the past. Nothing feel quite like summer loving then this beach it’s fresh water has a few slides and play area on the beach there’s shade so pack a picnic and spend the day. Very reasonably priced but grab a Groupon when you can. A favorite of ours they have a discount night price one day a week or two. It’s very chill here which we love. Great family “Day-cation” for Chicagoland area folks. A picture perfect Patrice in the nw burbs.

Ive been going here since I was 12. The place has hardly changed. Still has murky water, but it is a retired rock quarry. Deepest at the high five is about 19. Reasonable entry fee and great food court prices. Its always a blast whether for a few hours or all day. I spent many summers practically living here. Staff is very attentive and fun, they interact more than just for safety, you know they enjoy working there and want to have fun while enjoying watching families play. Great family place, or place to hang out with friends. They close the weekend before Batavia fall classes begin.I wish they would do more to keep the water cleaner. You definitely need to shower right after, but they keep the grounds clean. They are right off the bike trail. They have a lot of parking, but it is a very busy and popular place so it packs up quickly, and can create quite a walk both up and down hill.

Great music, pretty clean beach (the only messes I saw were because beach goers cant clean up after themselves properly). My kids had a blast. The only un-nerving part is that I think the diving platforms are understaffed and should have at least one guard on the high diving platform. Would definitely come back!

Was a super fun place. The kids had an absolute blast. The only complaint and why Im giving 4 is because of how redicoulusly cold the water was. Im talking 60 degree water in August. Makes it hard to have fun when the water is so frigid.

Such a great and unique place to swim! This retired quarry was turned into an awesome swimming spot with activities for all ages. My favorite part was the high jump platform! The also have plenty of picnic benches and nice big volley ball pits.

My kids love digging in the sand and building castles. The slides and other activities are great too. We look forward to a great summer at the quarry!

Never overcrowded. Lovely place to visit with a long history back to the 1800s including original quarry photos lining the walls as you walk in.

Great outdoor fun for the family in a really unique environment. There was plenty to do and the water felt clean and safe. Its nice that theres showers, changing rooms and even a place to grab snacks. Parking was plentiful as well.I highly recommend coming here with the family for some summertime fun!

Love going there when I was little and still love it now.

I had a great experience. I came in from Texas, with my 3 year old daughter, to visit my mom. She took us here and visiting for the first time I felt it was a great place for some fun in the sun. Other than the water activities and water slide, there are also grilling areas available with multiple grills, picnic tables and a volleyball area. Kind staff and the beach is well maintained. Lots of parking available and plenty of shade throughout the property. My daughter had a blast. $11 a person and under 3 are free. Group of 10 people or more is $6 a person.

It is so much fun. Honestly the best just wish I wasnt so far.

Attended a kids bday party. Umbrellas for tables were flying off. We realized the devices that hold them in place under the table were not filled with water. We were unable to twist them open. Called the manager over to tell him. He took the device into his office and came back and said he couldnt get them open and that they have never filled them with water before. After explaining to him it has not been the first time renting from them and the devices were always filled with water, he offered to bring weights to hold the umbrellas down. 5 minutes later two life guards come with 10lb weights to place on the devices which helped none. So all of the party guests took an hour to get the device open and filled with water and place them in place to hold the umbrella up. At 6pm the manager comes to us and tells us we need to pack up because there are other renter at 6:30pm. We were halfway packed and if he would have looked around he would have seen that. As we leave at 6:15pm and driving away I see the 6:30pm renter cleaning tables and setting up. I also see that the grabage was not emptied. It would have been nice to have the place at least empty the garbage for someone that is paying money to rent out. Last year our experience was great. This year not so much. We spent one hour doing someone elses job and enjoyed the party less.

Not as good as Splash Country. Better than no swim park. Decent.

Went in for 10 mins then got asked to leave because of thunder. Didn’t get a refund or rain check, but spent 36 dollars :(.

I would i like the community pool not very clean after a while but every hour they tend to clean the pool. But the staff are very nice and helpful. Its a good place to go on a hot day

Had my daughters birthday here. Great place, easy planning. They do offer packages but, if youre like me and opt to prepare your own food they have the necessary equipment available.Water was super cold though...

Warm water...peaceful...friendly and reasonable prices.

The place is a ton of fun, lots of familys and teenagers. Great place to be on a hot summer day! Everything is decently well maintained, although some things could definitely use a little TLC.

Great swimming, diving boards and beach. Fun things to do with islands to swim to, etc... Not to clean, scum, on pool deck, granted it was the last day it was open.

Manager was very rude and disrespectful to me. The manager talked very condescending and acted as if being the manager of a public pool was a notable achievement but in reality it’s not especially when you’re a middle aged adult screaming at children. The minute you step out of the pool you are nothing but a bully. The water was dirty in some places.

Good swim park in down town batavia. More for the kids and young teens. Enjoyed weekend on there little beach and swimming during the hot days. Clean and up keep.

Pros- fun pool for older kids. Clean beach and water. Reasonably priced snacks.Con-expensive for nonresidents, life guards were not attentive to the water, spent lots of time talking to each other while at posts. At 3:30 they closed down the entire northern half of the pool. That included the inflated island that our kids played on most of the time and all of the swimming area on the sandy side. That was very disappointing.

Fun way to visit the beach out in the suburbs. The lifeguards seemed less disciplined than other public pools in the area weve taken the kids to.

Great place to cool off in the heat of summer. The water is always super cold, and the beach sand is great for making castles.

Need to expand, friendly staff. Clean facility, hot showers after. Music playing, nice atmosphere.....

I love it here, the staff is nice, the water is perfect temp, a lot of things to do, high dives, water slide, low dive, frog pads, swimming lanes, great beach, just overall a good place.

Nice sandy beach and diving areas for older kids. Concession stands had reasonable prices for soda/ice cream. BBQ/picnic areas also available.

Usually a pretty fun time but I noticed a lot of bird poop and dead bugs floating around. Certain areas arent well taken care of and are dirty
