Great trail for biking of walking!

Very good access, great parking lots

Fantastic starting point for a quick or long walk along the Fox Trail. There is a ramp to a cleared level so those with mobility issues could enjoy the sights and sounds of the river up close and personal.

So serene. Lots of wildlife viewing plus dont fun fossils and a geology lesson :) numerous paths to take. Good for biking, jogging, walking your leashed dog, picnics. Even the bathrooms are nice. Ive been going here for years and this is a consistently truly lovely place.

As far as I can tell, this is just a small picnic area, but I go through this place every day on my bike. It has a nice shelter, a drinking fountain, and restrooms. Its a great little place to stop and rest. Theres even a fireplace!

Great river hikes (in both directions). Great restrooms (running water). Weve been visiting here for 20 years.

Nice location off of Rt 31. VERY nice set-up with two sheltered picnic areas. A large parking area allows you to not feel cramped. Always very clean and well maintained. Walkways to paths down by the river as well as the bicycle path. A few nice fishing spots. A great location for outdoor family get-togethers.

Paved area for walking your leashed dog is fine, but the portion that takes you down to the river is like a jungle. But overall its a nice park.

Beautiful preservation and walking trails. Bring mosquito repellent if you go anywhere near the river, though. Wildflowers are spectacular and abundant.

Very nice county forest preserve next to the Fox River. Good picnic area, playground, and the Fox River bike trail runs next to it.

Some history regarding this place. Its easy to miss the entrance but worth the trip to see.

Bathroom toilets were clogged. I told a forest preserve employee on Saturday - was still not fixed during the whole memorial day weekend
