My dog howls with excitement everythings we drive here! Worth the trip! The park is a bit of a walk towards the back but worth good reason. Keep this place hidden so we can continue to enjoy it!

Its fairly large and has a nice forest area. Only has one covered area. It has some sort of playground/agility area for dogs, but its not great. They are old and need maintenance. I wish they would just tear those down and build better agility obstacles.

I drove about 45 minutes to visit, as its one of the few good parks for letting the dogs swim off leash. At the parking lot, follow the paved trail south along the ball fields to reach the swimming area. The lake area is not fenced in, so dogs that like to explore or run to greet others will be able to do so (whether you like that or not). The dog park entrance is just to the west of the swimming area (use Google maps to view the area). There is a nice grove of trees for shade, and a separate area with some basic agility equipment. The other owners and dogs that were there were friendly and well behaved. Tip: If you get anxious, your dog will get anxious. Just relax and let the dogs socialize.Likes: No charge, great swimming, shade for owners and dogs, well maintained.Dislikes: No signs that indicate where to go from the parking lot. Parking lot is half gravel, which with a wet dog can get messy (park on the paved section or let your dog dry off first).

Pretty challenging disc golf course here, its pretty much entirely woods. Bring your accuracy! Its a huge place with a dark park area and some baseball diamonds.

Normally, friendly dogs come to lake/park. Today my German Shepherd encountered an older man with 2 goldens. One of the goldens bit/scratched my dog in the eye to the point of his eye bleeding. I was too in shock but if I see that man and those dogs again, We will have a chat. People should not bring their aggressive dogs to the park.

Great dog park. Does not require a fee or membership and has a very large area with wooded and open field and a pavilion to protect the dog parents from weather and several picnic tables for seating. But very busy so if your dog is borderline behavior around other dogs please know that prior to coming to not create disturbance.

They had a dog Easter Egg hunt and it was so much fun! Love it and great concept. I think I am a little too far for the dog park itself but if I lived a little closer I would take my pups all the time!

Where we live, if youre talking to other dog owners about dog parks, this is the one we talk about. If you havent been, its the best in the area (and there are several we like). Its HUGE, theres a training course section in the back, a little wooded area, a small section near the entrance with tables and theres a separate unfenced pond area for dogs as well. Its a short walk behind the baseball fields or around a trail to get here but its more than worth the walk/drive to get here. Because this is such a popular park there are always friendly dogs and people here to play with. We were a little hesitant about the unfenced pond area (we had recently adopted our puppy the first time we brought her here), but the other dogs work well as anchors, and you really cant beat how exhausted puppies get after getting to run and play in the water. We will absolutely continue to frequent this great park!

This place is amazing! Free entry. So many dogs. Such a huge park. Its a little hard to find. My first tip is to just take the unmarked path, (any of them) they all lead to the park. My other tip is to bring your own water (a lot) to share with all of the thirsty dogs.

Always dogs, most of the time they are very good but have a few which disturb the peace. They provide a large fenced in area for them to run, and an unfenced pond to swim in. Poop bags provided and bowls for water.

First time visiting the dog park with my 70lb Bernedoodle puppy. It was a little tricky to find since its behind a baseball field, pond, and basketball court. It was very clean and had lots of trees and grass for my big boy to run! The pond or water area is not fenced in so use had to stay on the leash. They do have poop bags and some stainless water bowls but you need to bring your own water for the dogs. They also have 3 or 4 picnic tables both shaded and in the sun plus a large tree lined area for the dogs to run in along with some agility items for the animals. Will definitely be back again!!

Okay baseball field. Needs some work on the infield. Bouncing balls hit a rut before making it to the infielders. Too much dog poop on the grass between the fence and the parking lot. Not in the dog area. Obviously not well maintained. Stick to the sidewalk.

Disc golf course is probably for medium to advance experienced players. There are some narrow spots where one could easily lose their disc but if you know how to play, its a blast. Not rating a 5 star due to no directions as to where the next tee would be and theres no map mo check at first. Some signs missing

Great concept and very well kept, but this is absolutely not small dog safe. We brought our Pomeranian who is about 5 pounds, a great of the leash walker, but to our surprise large aggressive dogs came running out of no where. No small dog section and full of much larger somewhat aggressive dogs. This all made for a very dangerous trip.

This is a challenging disc golf course. The reason I rated it 4 instead of 5 stars is because it is also a dog park and some of the dogs were off their leash. They like to chase discs. It was also early March and a bit muddy. But a tight disc golf course through a young forest. Will go again!

My dog loves this place. Its free, people are friendly and its well kept. Theres nature paths, and a creek that are not femced in, however the dogs are welcome there! The fenced in dog area is a short walk away from the parking lot. Theres no running water, so bring water for your dog. There are port-a-potties by the baseball fields if you need them. Great place!

Bark Park in Batavia is one of the best dog parks in the Chicagoland area, especially Kane County. They keep it clean up to date the weeds mowed and 98% of the dogs are well-behaved, although big (!), and they get along fine. Today there had to be 75 dogs in the park!

Visited the disc golf course today, easily the worst course I have ever played. Very poorly maintained with pathways only 10-20 ft wide, if you throw out of bounds youll have to search for your disc in weeds that are taller than you are. I lost two discs within the first couple holes and played the rest of the course with a putter to avoid losing anymore. No directional arrows to tell you where to go, so we spent a lot of wasted time wandering down random pathways that lead to nowhere. Maybe this course was playable when first constructed, but I would not recommend wasting your time at this course unless you want to leave itchy and with fewer discs than you started with. The rest of the park seemed fine.

This is the worst frisbee golf course I have ever been to. My friends and I arrived with high hopes, and lost 3 discs within the first 2 holes. I went into the thick and 4-7 foot tall prairie and got covered in itchy welts and bites. The course was very unclearly marked with many random paths leading nowhere. But, the worst part was the holes themselves. The paths are extremely narrow, with trees and prairie lining each side. It makes it nearly impossible to throw your disc without losing it. It is very poorly maintained. Also, the par is eternally 3, even though all of the holes were over 300 ft and extremely treacherous. We barely made it out alive. After my awful experience here, I may never be the same frisbee golfer again.---Jarod, avid frisbee golfer, and disappointed customer of West Main St. Park.On top of the dangerous foliage, the wildlife was extremely aggressive. I was leading my friends to what we thought was the next hole, when suddenly multiple cobwebs engulfed my body in the sticky trap of many spiders. Soon after, a swarm of mosquitos descended upon me, leaving my skin a mountain range of itchy red welts--- Ben, previous owner of 2 well loved discs (see obituary below).Lost discs:Innova Champion Valkyrie- blueInnova Whale Putt and Approach- blueChampion Beast- rainbowWe plan to return in the winter to fetch our well loved discs.
