Love Batavia Downs! Would live there if I could :) Food is great, horse racing, slots, sports, bands... and it’s very low key for a casino and just has a very “Homey” vibe compared to bigger casinos such as Seneca. I like to sit at the bar have a cocktail or two then walk around, play the slots, smoke a cig in the smoking room, go back & listen to the band or watch sports.. you can just chill & move at your own pace. Beats going to a regular bar sitting there drinking and staring at people any day

An awesome entertainment destination in Batavia, you have gaming on the floor, horse betting, and live racing during the season, and several great places to eat, Homestretch Grill, 34 Rush Bar, Fortunes, and the Gatsby Bar to even add more really nice class to Batavia Downs. I also must say they have the best Friday Fish Fry I have ever had. Either get it fried, breaded, or broiled.Batavia Downs also on Sunday morning from 10AM to 2PM has the best Brunch. It is excellent! From Eggs Benedict, Breakfast Pizza, Salad Bar, to custom made omelets. This is truly a winner for breakfast in the Batavia area. Brunch is served in Beautiful Fortunes Restaurant.

Decent place, however, have never come out ahead here. Not a huge slot player, need some card tables here to make it better. Nothing high limit, just 5/10 or something!

I didnt win but with covid they are doing amazing. Wiping down machines the entire time I was there. Social distancing protocol was being followed and they were making sure that everyone had their mask on the right way. Safe, clean, and fun

I love this place mainly because Im a fulltime, plus overtime employee there. About fifteen years ago, I played on the slot machines with my family and played a few times with my boyfriend. You dont have to go there and expect to go home rich, but rather enjoy a great time with the many events, especially live bands, that this Batavia Landmark has provided the community for ages. Im fortunate that I can enjoy many decades of employment so I can continue to meet, train, and perhaps work another position within the facility. Thank you!

We loved our stay at Batavia Downs Hotel and I even won 447.00 dollars. The bed was very comfortable the shower was huge. The Staff out of this world. I recommend staying here. If you need anything Larry is your man.

It is evident by thier parking lot and overflow into a parking lot they are not authorized to use (Kmart parking lot) that they are not abiding by covid mandates and restrictions. It still baffles me why gambling is more important and deemed more essential than places like social security and so on.

It was so nice to be back again an be able to watch races in the clubhouse. The food was excellent. Our server Megan was very nice and accommodating. The facility was very clean and staff took care in following the safety protocol. An all around pleasant experience.

All was well Saturday night in the Clubhouse considering they just reopened. The betting kiosk needs to move or get rid of the dining table that is close by. People were congregating near the people eating dinner. Not sure why you cant cash winners there. Hopefully these issues are fixed moving forward

This place is much better than finger lakes which is about 45 minutes away. I’ve never won or left up here but I do like the layout. My only complaint is that the security officers are pretty rude, I needed help and the guard (who was sitting in his chair with his eyes closed no less) seemed very inconvenienced when I asked for help. While this casino does not compete with Seneca Niagara, Del lago or turning stone owned properties, it’s a nice place to get away if you don’t feel like driving as long of a distance.

Great place to lose money. Lol or to meet up with family. As mine are regulars with their own parking spaces. Really though I love this place. Very friendly except from one girl that doesn’t make eye contact or talk much she nods and seems to hate her job. I lose my card and have to replace it and she is the one that waits on me every time

Room is very clean, but sound travels between rooms and hallway. Breakfast could be improved.

I love Batavia Downs Gaming. I really havent won much but Ill admit to being a bad gambler and could have walked out with hundreds but I kept on pushing until I gave it back but great place.

The gaming was fun and the staff was very nice except for the security personnel who seem to think that foul language and threats are an effective way to remind patrons to put on masks.

My first time ever going customer service didnt tell me that you have to cash out your money everytime you play almost lost $175 in the machine luckily my wife learned the hard way lost $14 in the machine thats how she found out that you have to cash out every time

Valet parking available. Hotel on site & many within 5 minutes ride to the Downs. Plentiful with Batavia area attractions, restaurants & shopping options.

Great fun, a few different things to do in 1 place + food, can be very crowded at times. The concerts are great and affordable.

I won 50 bucks in the casino...and picked the winners in races 1 and 3. And got to support my friends who had a horse in one race...and the annual wiener dog races were a hoot!! Dollar hot dogs and dollar soda.. whats not to love. Big time fun with new friends!!

Batavia downs racetrack concert venue setup was great, I would definetely see more shows there if someone I like is performing.was so easy to park,get in, get out etc.facilities outdoor food and bars we spot on,for a concert, good alcoholic beverages were decently priced for that kind of performance,and man. 10dollars for concert tickets to a nationally known band that is actually good? How can u beat it lol

The place was dark and gloomy. The staff was not too friendly and the Players Club worker was very rude. The food available was bad. Could not understand the buffet being closed at lunchtime. Opens at 4 :30???Lastly the bathroom I used was not too clean.I understand one wins and one loses but these machines were very tight. 12 spins on $2.00 play gave $9.00???Wow That’s after dropping quite a bit of $ in the machine. Way more than $9.00I usually give casinos at least 3 stars. I will not return here.

Over crowded, rude staff and pushy people. The fountain wall was the only decent part and is gone now. The track is not really worth it. I have been to a dozen or more casinos and this one is at the bottom of the list. Ive been to this one a few times, always dirty and rude staff. If my passenger hadent requested stopping, I wouldnt have. I recommend any other casino first.

This casino is fairly small and very crowded. Its apparent, most people that were there live in the area and come just to drink and hang out. I witnessed more staggered walking/bumping into people and total drink spillage in 1 hour here then in a whole evening at a regular fun hole in the wall bar. Needless to say .... its not as clean or upscale as other casinos in the area. We also noticed that the payouts were super few and far between. They also appear to have many older slots with a few newish ones tossed in. We may give it another chance but not in a hurry, thats for sure.

I love the new games they have. They have 2 smoking rooms which my husband loves. Its very nice for me not having to breath in smoke because the majority of the casino is smoke free.

First off the place is spotless, lovely and welcoming. This is referred to as a “racino” as there is sulky races and video slots in the space. The staff are great. But make sure you look for Larry the manager —- he is the sweetest gentleman from New Orleans who just makes your stay perfect!Lively room service. Rooms are clean and spacious with great views of the horses!Will be back again for the hotel!

Had a good time here. The place was clean and the machines all seemed to be in good working order. The had plenty of staff and machines so there was little wait or bottlenecking anywhere.

Old machines, should have updated the place since it was shutdown for so long. It needs a complete.makeover.

ChargePoint EV charging bay was blocked by a gas engine Silverado, reported by Valet Staff as belonging to casino staff who chronically parks there. Please be courteous of parking signs.UPDATE: I made three return visits. The parking space was still blocked on the next visit, but, thankfully clear the last two. THANK YOU to staff for being aware! Every time I go, I lose at the slots. I try to watch people around me. I watch how they play to get the complete enjoyment out of playing, but I just get depressed because they win and I dont understand why I just lose 99% of the time. I live in town but the people I watch live out of town. They win. I guess I just have to find another way to enjoy my life I have left. I dont expect too win all the time but it also depressed me if me and my husband can walk out sometimes together as a winner. Not me always a loser. I use to like like old games. Like Mr E-WIN. And Aladdin and Zeus. But there sad part is Ill probably keep coming back with my husband. He likes it. Ugh

Free soft drinks theres smoking rooms so It didnt smell and first time members get 15 to play plus they have a nice bar area and lots of slot machines but no tables to play at so only reason it wasnt a 5 for me

Machines are very tight right now. I cant seem to get in a bonus round. Will come back next spring and try slots again. I wont go out of my way to stop here. Concert series although are great.

Cant beat The Kettle for price, quality, attentive staff... everything home cooked..numerous choices...$3.00 for a two soup salad bar !!... breakfast all day... this is a SIX star restaurant...

A very friendly and welcoming place to stay! Beautiful rooms and walking distance to stores! Excellent restaurant right there near the gaming room!

Hands down, absolute worst dining experience me and my wife have ever had in the clubhouse! Waiter waited on a party of 14 of us. Booked reservations ahead of time and was a mess from the start. Waiter overcharged us and every single couple we came with. Waited over an hour for the waiter to take our orders. Got our bills and they were incorrect. Charged us for non player club members which, all of us were. Then, we waited for nearly two hours to get out bills correct .Never again will I eat there or recommend anyone eating in the clubhouse. The waiter owed my grandma change and proceeded to tell her she had to wait for an hour for her change when she screwed her bill up and overcharged her 40 dollars. What a joke this restaurant is.

Called to see the new hours and the automated phone system states 8am-4am. Showed up and was told it closed at 1am. How does no one bother to update the phone system?

Smaller, but nice. Smoker friendly and good meals and service at the restaurant. Lots of free parking.

I have been to several concerts at the downs. I am very impressed the venues are great, and they are well organized. I dont gamble, but Im told that too is clean and well organized. The employees are very friendly and helpful.

This is an excellent facility that is attractively appointed, very clean and staffed with friendly, helpful people. Overall we had a very fine experience here and definitely plan to return. They have a huge parking lot and the entire campus is equipped for the handicapped.

They had good service. The food was mediocre. They were busy but not jammed. Its a fun way to spend a Friday or Saturday night!

I budget myself when going to a casino when that money is gone I leave. How long I get to play with my money is how I rate a casino. Batavia gets one star because my money goes quickly and I get very little play and entertainment for the money. Wont go back anytime soon. More entertainment for the money at other casinos. Guess they havent figured out they have a lot of competition.

Love the variety of games friendly staff at customer service desk but despise when patrons come stand behind you and watch while your playing slots. It really throws off your concentration especially when your playing high stake games.

Very disappointed!! We stayed at the hotel here 1 year ago and loved it! This year it was a shock to see how dirty the room was when we walked in. Staff was very courteous and apologetic, changing our room quickly. However the new room was just as dusty and other than the bathroom, poorly cleaned. We will game here maybe, but sadly, we will not stay here again. Not worth the extra money

Went for the Tanya Tucker show. Parking was close and access to the show was easy. A big-screen would have been nice to see the performance better. The slots do not pay out on event nights, nobody was winning :(
