We did all three games at the San Mateo location and all three were awesome! The room designs were great and the puzzles all fit the themes. Our Game Master was Melanie and I cannot say enough nice things about her! She was super friendly, sweet, and helpful! Melanie definitely made our visit to Bust Out Escape rooms enjoyable and provided us tips and recommendations on other rooms, including the order that we should do the rooms. We are definitely going to check out the rooms at the Paseo location. Hands down, Bust Out Escape had the friendliest staff and the best rooms out of the couple of other vendors we have tried. We definitely recommend these rooms.

My little group of four has done a vast number of escape rooms in multiple states and this is by far the best! We did the Summer at Crystal Lake room first and then proceeded to do the Bunker right afterwards! This was after doing two rooms at the other location the day before! The staff were extremely friendly and very welcoming. The were extremely accommodating of everything we needed and made the experience that much better. The rooms are absolutely genius! We did the Jumanji room first and it was like nothing we had ever seen! The effects were so spot on and the rooms were very immersive! The themes were shown throughout the rooms and even the tiniest details were thought of! If you enjoy escape rooms that make you feel like you really are part of the story, I highly recommend this company!

This was hands down my best escape room experience. We ended up doing all three in a day. The puzzles are challenging and extremely fun! The game master, Melanie, was awesome and helped us a ton! I highly recommend visiting the friendly family at Bust Out escape rooms! We have done all of the rooms at the San Mateo location, and can’t wait to try our hand at the Paseo location. The “game masters” can be very helpful when you’re stuck, but won’t give anything away. The games themselves are very thoughtfully put together. Overall a great way to spend time collaborating with friends or family!

The Divinci Game was their easiest game and it was still challenging and fun! Melanie was super sweet and was a great game host. Will Definitely recommend to friends and cant wait to try another puzzle.

Weve done every room they have an all of them a blast. Weve even tested a few rooms which was an honor.I highly encourage checking this place out.

My girlfriend and I have done multiple Escape Rooms together and the rooms at Bust Out are some of our new favorites. Constantly challenging and exciting rooms kept our minds racing and held our interest. Everything was on time and nothing was out of place. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful and engaging. A group of 5 of us did the Camp Crystal Lake room and it was amazing. The attention to detail and the variety of ways you had to figure out each lock or clue was very fun and immersive. A perfect mix of problem solving adventure and scares to make everyone really enjoy the experience. It was a few of our first times doing escape rooms and the moderator was absolutely perfect at helping when needed. Finished with 7 minutes remaining!!!

Wow! What a fun experience! We took our daughter and her friends to the Camp Crystal Lake room for her birthday. It was amazing. All of the girls had such a fun time. Everyone was engaged and participating in trying to interpret the clues and solve the puzzles. It was so good seeing our group interacting with each other and working together. So glad we went here. The staff were very friendly and made the experience exceptional. We definitely recommend coming here and we will be coming back!

Absolutely loved the Doomsday game! Melony was awesome and helped us so well when we needed it. The game made sense but was challenging and one of the best escape rooms I’ve been to yet.

Went there for the Doomsday room and had a great time, one of the best rooms I’ve ever done. We then decided to stay and did the summer camp room too which is great for anyone who likes horror themes.Both rooms were thematically very good.

First time going in a group of 5, and it was definitely worth the money! Did the Camp Crystal Lake first and we loved it so much we booked the Doomsday room an hour later! Will definitely be returning soon

I have been to escape rooms all over the world and this one was hands down one of my favorite! Finally, a place this is not cookie cutter! The games and designs were authentic and refreshing, so freaking glad this place came across my radar!

My boyfriend and I went here for the first time on our anniversary and we just had a phenomenal time! The employee that was working (Makayla or Makenzie I think was her name?) was just the absolute sweetest person. My boyfriend and I went to do the Bunker challenge which she explained was the hardest one, especially for first timers and only two people. We went for it anyway and it was so enjoyable, she was rooting for us and was just so helpful. Can’t wait to go back with a group! Would recommend to anyone honestly!

This company is amazing. We ended up doing 5 of the 6 rooms they have between the 2 locations. Reasonably priced, and the rooms are all so different, so you get a different experience every time. The family that runs the place are so gracious and wonderful. Friends for life!!

This is by far the best place to do an escape room in Albuquerque! The staff are awesome and the rooms are very well put together! Before you waste your money at Escape The Room Albuquerque definitely go to this place first. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Had so much fun with my friends at the camp crystal lake during halloween night! The costumer service is so amazing the people are very generous and sweet. I cant remember names very well but one guy dressed as a dorky clown and was so cool and funny and these two other girls were very nice and very understanding of our stupidity. Also my friends and I apologize for screaming way to much and being total scaredy cats.

I would give my experience a million stars out of five. We did the Camp Crystal Lake and it was SO much fun. The puzzles were super challenging well thought out and fun with a few twists. Me and my friends will definitely come back to do some of the other rooms. I can’t say enough about how much fun it was. Staff was also super great friendly and helpful!

We thought that we would have to rely on our family’s biggest nerd to solve the puzzles, but it was well balanced and everyone in our group shined in different ways. The staff was so nice and made the experience for us. We escaped with two minutes left on the clock!!! Cannot wait to go back.

My family and I have done a number of escape rooms before, so it wasnt our first rodeo, but we were quite impressed with the set up and execution of the Doomsday Escape room we did. The puzzles were well thought out, they were varied enough to keep us all engaged and excited, and the pacing of everything was excellent. Quite thrilling, even after we did 5-6 previous escape rooms and were worried wed see some of the same old puzzles. Well presented and great help from staff along the way. Highly recommend it! Plan to go back again for another room we havent done yet.

Had two great experiences here. Camp Crystal Lake is my fave, and Id love to try the new rooms when theyre ready. Wish the payment on the site was clearer about the fact that $100 only reserves four people. The good news is that they wont charge the card until youre all there, and they will charge everyone individually if you want. Just tell your friends to pay for themselves, no need to have them pay you back.

This was such a great way to spend Saturday night with my friends. I highly recommend Camp Crystal Lake! It was really thrilling to solve a clue and open a lock. The experience was so detailed and well thought out. It got very exciting when we were down to the last few minutes and so close to unlocking the door. Can’t wait to check out the other rooms!

What an amazing experience!!! Totally worth the money! I feel like my money was well worth the experience!!! Bring your A-GAME and prepare for an incredibly well thought out story. 5 of us did the Crystal Lake challenge with 12 minutes to spare, but I cant put into words the fun it was working together. First of all its probably important to say that this is more of a 16yr+ kind of thing. Definitely not 12 and would really be pushing it because of the complexity etc. Now to the good, this experience opened up a whole new dynamic in my relationships with my teammates (Brothers and friends). It made us stop thinking as individuals and morphed us into being one cohesive unit with a common goal. The staff is fantastic and completely dedicated to your experience and most importantly your well being. I never thought opening locks could be so FUN! Theres a rubiks in the lobby that you can try to solve, which is a challenge in itself. Solving this mystery was like, A riddle wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma. Definitely one of the most purely fun and entertaining things Ive come across in a very long time. I wish I lived here to be able to go back and solve more!

Excellent! My family and I have a bit of an Escape Room addiction, and after trying more than a dozen rooms, this was, by far, our favorite. The staff was friendly, the room was challenging, clean, well planned, and interesting. We escaped from Doomsday tonight and we will definitely be back to try another room!

We have had 3 awesome experiences here! These escape rooms are fun, challenging, and sometimes scary. They design rooms that are non-linear, meaning that people in your group can work on more than one puzzle/activity at a time to keep progressing.

I did the doomsday escape with a large group and it was very fun and very clever and very hard. It was the first escape room I have ever done so I dont have anything else to compare it to but it was good enough that I want to try the other rooms they have.

We did the davinci room with 4 fairly experienced people and got out with almost 10 minutes to go. This was a fun experience!!! Weve done 3 escape places in town, this place and one other are definitely the best. The room decorations were really good, there was a ton of things to get through in the room. We will be back to do doomsday.

Absolutely the best eacape rooms! The rooms are very realistically made and the number of intricate clues and puzzles keeps us going back for more. I have gone with other adults and teenagers and both age groups had a great time.

Fantastic staff opened in day off to accommodate us. The room was fantastic. Challenging without overwhelming you. Best hour time and money well spent.

This is one of the best places to spend an evening in Albuquerque! We have done almost all of their rooms, and all of them are great! We went for a birthday celebration and it was a blast!
