We had my Grandmothers funeral reception here. Debbie and her team are absolutely wonderful. They go above and beyond. The venue is beautiful. The food was great. I have been to 2 other funeral receptions here in the past and they did a wonderful job then too. I would recommend this place 100%!

Debbie and her team did an AMAZING JOB for my daughters high school graduation. Words cannot express how satisfied I was with the outcome. The venue was beautiful, elegant, and beyond what I expected. The food was delicious, we had the pork tenderloin, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, red chili and rolls. I WAS VERY SATISFIED and will be using Debbie and her team again if needed. Definitely recommend this location to everyone.

Debbie did awesome on my wedding! She did everything and any changes that I wanted she did with no problems. The food is great, especially the red chilie. My guests were happy and kept commenting how great it looked. Debbie and her staff gave us a great wedding.

The best place in Albuquerque to have an event

We had we had a lot of fun at this event center. My daughter had her quinceanera there and we all had a great time except for the alcohol portion of it. There was a woman that was running the place that was just acting completely ridiculous and rude to people in our party. She threatened us with the police she was taking drinks out of peoples hands and telling them where they needed to be to drink. I just feel like if there was designated drinking areas that should have been marked and noted since the beginning and that she shouldnt have been so rude about her way of letting us know that thats not where we should be drinking at. I would recommend this place only if you dont plan on having alcohol involved in your event.

Attended a wedding there.. Not my favorite place but i assume its budget friendly. Would not suggest for a event with over 60 ppl. Space was very tight. AC was half way working. Everyone was held outside while the indoors was converted into a dinner reception. Food was delayed nearly a hour.Unfortunate, as this place has the potential to be nice, with some work that needs to be done and more space.

I love prestige they have excellent seservice. This is the best place in Albuquerque to have your event i would recomend this place over and over. The food is great and the service is even better.

I Have all my events there, from baby showers to birthday parties, graduations and wedding. The Staff are amazing and the owner goes above and beyond. The food is amazing doesnt have a specific menu to choose from which is great. You pay for what you order .they dont allow guest to serve them selves food staff serves them and cleans after them as well, they cut cake in kitchen and serve guest cake to their tables or outside if they are outside in patio area. Which is also great because guest are ment to go and enjoy themselves not work.

When we did both our wedding and reception there, it started the day before with the owner Debbie not getting the colors of our wedding right for all the tables. She tried to persuade me just to leave it, told her thats part of what we are paying for, so please fix. Next day she was blocking up traffic for family and friends to get into event. Argued with one of my uncles. Had my bridesmaids hand out the bouquets and pin on guys flowers instead of her staff. She almost didnt know where she had misplaced them at first either. She was in a bad mood that day. Myself and the whole brides maides had to announce our families to go serve themselves food, because she wouldnt. Just kept asking if we were ready. I was working on my plate of food where guest kept wanting to visit or dance. Asked them to leave my setting of food alone, came back and all my food was gone. So barely ate. She made a big deal over a plastic flower someone took for themselves outside from one of the decorations. Causing a fuss over, which I made sure she got back. On top of it her and her staff were taking out food that we paid for; for themselves and denied it. When I had several people approach me and tell me the same thing. Her and her staff never cut the cake up for everyone and serve, my mother in law and other family members did. We paid $5,000 for something we over paid for. Since not that many people were there. She even had the nerve to say people were getting 2nds of food which was more than we paid for, but would let it go. After the whole experience there even more before the big day and day of, not referring anyone here. Unless they want to get ripped off and have guests miss treated.

I was a groomsman in one of my best friends wedding today at Prestige Event Center. The staff were wonderful, the venue was beautiful, and the wedding was great. The wedding planner and director was awful though. I own a large dog with long hair and she sheds a lot. Not wanting to get hair all over my tuxedo, I arrived to the venue (two hours early) to get dressed in a bathroom. When I asked the wedding director where a bathroom was that I could use to change into she said Well the groomsmen are supposed to arrive already dressed but if you can find one you can use it. I was a little stunned so I looked at the best man (who was standing beside me) and he rolled his eyes and helped me find a bathroom. When I found the bathroom, I locked the door, took the jeans and shirt I was wearing off, and started to pee. Without a knock, the wedding director shouldered the door open and looked at me and said Im going to need this room. I said something like Okay but Im using it right now and she left. Horrified, I put my suit pants and shirt on and went out to my car to finish getting ready.At every single wedding Ive been to, the wedding director tries to be as discrete as possible about directions (like telling people when to start walking and where to stand). This woman was anything but discrete. She flamboyantly motioned her hands like she was directing jumbo jets down a runway, rather than telling people standing 3 feet away from her when its okay to walk and get into position. I wasnt the only one who noticed this. I heard and saw some of the guests making fun of her during the reception.She also changed several plans (like when the wedding party was going to go take pictures, when the family photos would happen, etc) in the middle of the wedding and reception.While the wedding party was at another location taking photos, we were told that the guests would be entertained. Instead, they were sent outside during the hottest part of the day and were made to stand out there for an hour and a half out of the two hours that we were gone. This upset some of the older guests for obvious reasons.There were some other incidents that I didnt see for myself so I cant really speak to them but I was told that she confronted the brides parents about needing more money because she thought there were over 100 more guests than there actually were. My fiances mother told me that she served the food so hard that it almost knocked her plate out of her hand.But at the end of the night, everyone still thanked her for a wonderful staff and venue and for her services because thats the polite thing to do.TL;DRThe wedding was fun, the venue is beautiful, the staff is great, and the food was delicious. But the woman running the show is awful to deal with.

I would not recommend this venue to anyone. Attended a wedding here and the air conditioning was not working. It was soooo uncomfortable. Guests left early due too the extreme heat. Some guests even left before the event began because the owner didnt open the gates to the parking lot on time.
