Wow. Just wow. Amazing experience. Amazing staff. Such a fun escape from the day to day. (Pun intended). Perfect place for a post covid-19 date or outing. The room we went into was spotless and very engaging. Will be back.

We love NM escape rooms! They have great room ideas and the puzzles make sense. The stories are normally pretty good. Cant give 5 stars because on our last visit we almost didnt complete the room because a major prop wasnt in the room and we spent 25 trying to solve a puzzle that we couldnt solve without the prop.

What a great time! Very challenging and thought-provoking. We were there for a birthday party and it was way. more fun than I had ever anticipated.

I have been to both locations of the NM Escape Room, having visited the two locations a few times over the past few years. My first experience was at the Carlisle location in 2016 and my most recent experience was last weekend (March 2020) at the McLeod location. I can say that I have always enjoyed my experiences -- I think the puzzles are sufficiently challenging, but everything is definitely solvable within the allotted time. I appreciate the variety of puzzle types, even within a single room. The staff has always been friendly, too, which makes for a positive experience end to end. Having never visited any of the other escape rooms, I cant compare quality of NM Escape Room to the other companies in town, but I would highly recommend NM Escape Room to any group of friends looking for a fun, mentally stimulating activity!

We love the immersive game that you play. The Cabin is a fun fast pace escape room leaving wanting more more more!! Very clean safe place for you to get out of the house and wake your brain up. Hand sanatizer is provided as soon as you walk in and you must wear your mask in all common areas. There are 3 rooms at this location. Easy parking in front of the building.

Staff was professional and helpful. We really like the set-up as the props are very well-crafted, with just the right amount of audio volume. Positive experiences both visits!

We escaped the Blackwell Manor with 10 minutes to spare. We had a great experience. That is a very interactive room. Quite a challenge!! I highly recommend!!

1st time trying an escape room of any kind. Was not disappointed. Chose the harder room for our 1st and was pleasantly surprised with the amount of detail put into the puzzles. Utilizing all the senses and was well rounded so that everybody in the group could participate equally and without frustration. Will do again. Best hour of entertainment for the money.

We tried The Cabin and it was super fun! There were 5 of us and we all enjoyed the room. There were little scares here and there but it went with the theme. The game master was really nice and did a great job in getting us hyped for what we were about to experience. Would definitely recommend this room, and we are planning on doing it again in a few months since we did not finish within the hour.

Not sure who the owner is but after the time the host gave us a breakdown of how we did (we did not finish but were very close). He singled me out and asked me in front of my family if I had a broken “his” lock box with a hanger which had fallen off the wall. I laughed and said no but later on was somewhat offended he would call me out and even think I would do such a thing just to get further in his “game”. Seems like the host or owner or whatever, whoever he is was angry we excelled thru his room but will try maybe another room somewhere else.

First time doing any type of escape room. Our group did The Cabin and it was very well written and thought out. Not too hard and not too easy. Gonna have to go back and try the others! I love puzzles and puzzle/horror games so this was a perfect fit. (If youre a first timer I would maybe start with an easier room though)

The best escape room in town. They got us to do another escape room while we were there. Would have been nice to get a small discount for doing a second one last notice..

Lots of fun. We did a 6/10 difficulty and I believe it was appropriately ranked. The theme was fun and everything matched the theme pretty well. Staff was friendly and most importantly the bathrooms are clean (well except for one particular toilet :) ).

Staff was awesome, the room was challenging and the group we participated with were great! Winning didnt hurt either. I highly suggest NM Escape room. Thank you for the awesome time.

My experience with my sister and cousin was super fun! We are sosososo close on the super secret room. The game master was very helpful with the hints. I hope we can make another visit!

This is the only escape room Ive done, Blackwell Manor and Bombshell, and really loved it. The rooms are so detailed and the stories are really good. Kind and helpful game masters, they really make sure you have a good experience. Cant wait to escape the Cabin next!

I took my staff here for a team-building activity. About half of the team was excited to go, and the other half was not so excited. Only one person from our team had every been through an escape room, but every one of the 14 of us had a blast! Of our two teams, one group made it out of the room successfully.We got to experience two rooms: The Cabin and The Family Jewel. The puzzles were challenging and the staff was engaging throughout the hour. There were several surprises throughout the rooms, and there were even some things placed in there to throw you off course. The rooms were so detailed we left in awe of how much time it must have taken to put it together. We have all been talking about the NM Escape Room since we left three days ago!If you are considering taking your family or group to the NM Escape Room, you will not be disappointed! This is a great activity for team-building and will bring out the best qualities of your staff. I will be bringing my family here when they come to visit for the holidays to see if they are as smart as they say they are!

This was one of the funnest things I have experienced! The attention to detail is phenomenal, and it actually made me jump and scream multiple times. We did the Blackwell Manor, and if you love scary stories and haunted houses, this is most definitely for you! The way this is built, it is not just one room, but multiple rooms you unlock. So fun, and beyond worth the money. We were flying through all the clues then got stumped on one for a good 30 minutes! We escaped with only 5 seconds to spare! Game master was also awesome, will definitely be back!!!

My wife, daughter, and I had such a great time here. This was our first time trying an escape room and this one was rated at 6/10, so we kinda knew we were in over our heads. We cant wait to try again. Very helpful and friendly staff. I highly recommend to all. A+++

I was pretty skeptical about these escape rooms. They seemed kinda nerdy. Boy was I right. They totally are. But theyre so much fun...We did the Family Jewel. One member of our team has completed other escape rooms and knew what we were in for. We got to a certain point in the solving, and then our work load suddenly tripled. Our efforts towards the conclusion of solving it really accelerated and we beat the room with just over 2 minutes to spare.Great fun for families and friends. This particular room seems perfect for 3-5 people.Easy to book, affordable, professional and just plain fun.10/10: Would definitely recommend and go again.

This place is a blast! Our group did the family jewel room, and we had a ton of fun with it. It wasnt too challenging, and because of that it was a great bonding experience. I highly recommend this one to anyone who is looking to go to an escape room for the first time. The staff was extremely friendly, and really helped make the experience that much better

Best escape room in new Mexico and Ive been to all of them

Ive done several Escape Rooms, but this was the first time doing one with a smaller group, and it turned out to be the best experience Ive had. We chose Bombshell, which is recommended for four to six people. There were only four of us, and two had never done an Escape Room before, but we still escaped! I had way more fun with a smaller group so I highly recommend it, especially if you dont like chaos, which is what larger groups have felt like to me. Some other Escape Rooms require you to have eight people and will pair you up with strangers if your group isnt large enough. While that might be fun for some, I personally loved having an alternative option.

This was awesome! We took a group of 6 adults, all with different strong suits, and everyone had a great time and got to solve at least 1 puzzle. I think that a lot of folks fear they will be the odd man out in an escape room, and that was not the case. We did the family jewel scenario and everyone got really into the story line. If you are interested in this room, hurry up and do it. They said it is changing after the holidays.

This place is awesome! The owners are on site, they ensure everyone is very professional and courteous to others. The rooms are very challenging but absolutely enjoyable!! Everyone can get involved and truly enjoy the hour. Our family will be back for sure!

We did the family jewel with a lot of puzzles it was very challenging!

First time experiencing an escape room; so much fun! if you like puzzles, you have got to try this. Really enjoyed our experience and really appreciate that they dont match you with others if you only have 4 people.Update: Took 2 teams from work (14 total) for a team building. The experience was great! It was really interesting watching my team interact on puzzles and see who wanted to call for clues quickly, who worked well together, and how much fun we could all have together. I learned a lot watching them that I took back to work and used. Team is definitely addicted to escape rooms now!

The Family Jewel was a great time! Quite challenging for my teenage daughter and her friends but a very fun experience. We will be back to try some different rooms in the future!

I have done quite a few escape rooms, but none of them have gotten me like this one. If you do end up going, I suggest doing the Roswell Themed room. Fun for the home family!

This was a totally awesome family experience that we plan to do again and again!! We didnt make it through the first time, but we plan on challenging them all as my 18yr old daughter and 21yr old son insisted that we promised to go back and do another....

We did not escape the room, but it was a blast trying to figure out the clues. Being that it was out first time ever in an escape room, we had to learn how to search for clues and how to use them to unlock more clues. I would definitely recommend this fun activity for families wanting to spend quality time together. I just wish it was not so expensive.

This room (family jewels?) was super fun! It is only the second one we have done, the other being the Egyptian themed one, but we escaped both. We did both with some friends and this one wasnt as hard but was certainly fun. The staff were super friendly and we did have one little glitch with our room, but they fixed it up fast. This is probably a great beginner room and definitely worth doing just for fun.

New Mexico Escape Rooms Blackwell Manor was described by our amiable game master Adrian as a story room. We would be directed along a linear path as our story unfolded. The story involved a decrepit manor and the tragedy, horror, and twists that consumed the family who once resided there. The highlight of the Blackwell Manor story is the set, a monstrous and elaborate construction that includes a complete Victorian facade at the entrance. The puzzles inside are fairly straightforward tasks, but all were accentuated with well-designed props and electronic effects. Jump scare-sensitive solvers should prepare themselves for a few surprises. If you want a fun, creepy-immersive adventure thats not an overtaxing challenge of wits, check out Blackwell Manor.

Ive been to many escape rooms in many different states and this is one of the best ones Ive come across. The rooms are all very well made and thought out. The puzzles are fun and keep you thinking. I always suggest them to any friends who are looking for a good escape room!

They were so flexible and accommodating with me when I had to change times. Loved the story, the ambiance and the difficulty of the puzzles. I just wish wed solved it.

One of the most fun activities I have ever done. I would highly recommend it to anyone. A larger group will have a better chance of making it through in the hour. We did the Family Jewel with 5 in our group, and made it out with about a minute and a half to spare.

This was our first time. Got a slow start between the 2 of us, but once we got going it became much more fun. Didnt get through it to the end, but look forward to the next room. Definitely needed to take better notes during the orientation of the room.

This escape room trend that is developing has a few locations popping up. This location, NM Escape Room does a decent job at it. We did their room that is rated as their easier challenge and were able to complete it, but just under the time allotted. A fun family activity!

So much fun. We did The Cabin at this location and have done The Bombshell at their other building. The rooms are fun and challenging. Best for 4-6 people, will definitely do another room with them.

Its a fun place. I went with a group from work as a team building exercise. We did the cabin and I thought it was pretty neat. A little cheesy at times but neat nonetheless. Definitely a must try. Good fortune teens and older.

We ran all three rooms simultaneously for a work team build. My team did The Cabin and we beat it with a couple of minutes left. We had so much fun!

Very fun, staff is very welcoming. Came here for my birthday on 3/11/18 and it was fun, my second time to this location, we did the Cabin this time and Dual at dusk last time. Both rooms are fun and keep you guessing. I would recommend that if you are looking for something to do and have fun this is a place to do it.

Third room at the NM Escape Room and had just as much fun this time as the last two! Definitely recommend.

Out family (ages 11-46) had such a fun time in The Cabin! The staff made it even better! They provided all the orientation info we could have possibly needed...and the hints along the way were on point. While we were about a minute from solving the mystery, we still had a blast!

The staff made everything very easy and comfortable for everyone. If your goal is to do something different with some friends we highly recommend the experience. Great fun trying the Cabin but unfortunately the victim died. lol
