This park has an amazing view of Mt Ranier- which is hard to find because of all the trees in the area! The park is clean and has a nice swinging bench as well. Only negative is that it is a very small park and surrounded by houses with a decently noisy road below. I definitely recommend it for the view, though! You can see the Puget Sound and capital building as well.

A beautiful view of downtown Olympia, the old brewery neighborhood, Capitol Lake, the Capitol Building, the Salish Sound and more. A simple fenced walk-up landing/lookout with a chest table and a swinging bench - nothing more - nestled into the Tumwater Hill neighborhoods. Simple and lovely.

Great view of Rainier. Killer!! The overlook is in a housing development in Tumwater Falls, which was not at all what I expected, but beautiful and kind of quirky.

Fantastic views of Olympia and the mountain! I only gave it four instead of five stars because its tiny and you really cant do any walking around. Its meant for people to come and enjoy the view, which is totally worth it!

Its a small picnic area more than a park. The park is bordered by three separate housing developments, all of which are priced for upwardly mobile incomes. This park is best visited alone or with small dogs. Its a good spot for thinking or crying.

Short little walk up a concrete ramp. There is a large seated swing and two picnic tables with chess/checkerboards on each of them. The view is pretty good. Great shot of the capital building.

You know when youre driving up in the mountains and you see the sign that says Scenic View Next Right? Thats what this park is. Its the highest point in the area, and when its not cloudy/foggy it gives a very nice view of downtown Olympia. Mainly you can see the waterfront, and the capital building. Its also a good spot to see the fireworks shows in the area (the valley in 4th of July, and capital lake on the last day of lake fair every year). The park itself is small with a ~6 spot parking lot. There is a short path to the top where there is a small table with a built in chess board(byop), and a nice swinging bench that faces the view. This park is a nice scenic view when the weather is clear, and nothing else.

I personally did not enjoy my visit. The whole area of the park is very small. It seems as though the parking lot is bigger than the park itself. The picnic table area usually has a large collection of cigarette butts. It still deserves at least 3 stars for the gorgeous view, though!

Its a pleasant, quiet place to go during the day, but if you show up after sunset, people pull into the parking lot just to smoke pot and leave, and didnt even smell like good weed.
