Bob Crims private group tours are wonderful, with 60 years working on site, theres potential for a new story every visit. The building is beautiful and full of local history.

This beautiful historic home, located in Tumwater near the old Olympia brewery, was built in 1904 for the founder of the original brewery and his wife. Among other uses, it currently serves as the monthly venue for a wonderful series of history talks presented by the Olympia-Tumwater Foundation.

Fascinating! Beautiful home featuring loads of history about Tumwater and the contributions of the Schmidt family. Extremely knowledgeable staff. Needed more time to take it all in... Planning for a return trip for sure.

My daughters wedding was held here so it will always be special to our family. Theres a beautiful rose garden in back and the grounds are well maintained and lovely. The only reason I havent given 5 stars is because of the lack of access for disabled people due to the many stairs. Besides that it is a beautiful and well cared for historic site. I must add that our event here was several years ago and they may have updated to allow for disabled access.
