Right now (Dec. 2020), this park is fairly quiet, as in not a lot of activity. I primarily use this park to drop off recyclables. Depending on the day of the week, the containers usually have plenty of room to accept recyclable household items. Of course, some people DO abuse the privilege, by dumping old tv sets or mattresses, but most of the time this location is free of debris. The recycle bins are large, basically dumpsters, but they will fill-up quick if/when people dont break-down cardboard boxes.Im glad these bins are available, but I have a feeling that if people abuse them, its just a matter of time before they disappear.

I have lived in Tucsons East Side for decades and have just now discovered the walking paths here at this park. I went with my son & daughter in law, her parents and 6 or 7 dogs of assorted sizes, shapes and ages (of course we brought IN empty poo-bays and being responsible pet owners, brought OUT not-empty poo-bags) and we ALL enjoyed ourselves. The paths we followed included cute little wooden bridges, easily walked gravelly surfaces and the sandy bottom of washes. My FAVORITE thing about this place though is definitely the eye-catching, intriguing and inspirational TREES! The ones with interestingly textured bark, gnarled trunks & branches and creating shadows that seemed alive all by themselves. As a multi-genre artist, I found these walks and ESPECIALLY these trees breathtaking and I look forward to experiencing them as they change throughout the year.

This park is super cool. I like the big desert area with dirt walking paths through it. The kids play area is pretty sweet with newer playground equipment. The grass is always green and there are plenty of covered picnic tables with BBQs.

Beautiful park on the outskirts of Tucson. Large facility. There is something for everyone whether you are playing in a tournament, running a race or out for a stroll with the dog. Parking can be an issue when several events are going on at the same time and not all the bathrooms were open.

Hows it going everyone? Hope all is well! If you are thinking about visiting this awesome park today please pay attention to your surroundings! Today entering the park on upper Lincoln while jogging I saw some sort of wild cat either mountain lion or cougar he ran away into the desert when he saw me but still be careful! I’ve been jogging through there for about 2 years now and have seen coyotes, rabbits, lizards etc but never a wild cat like today so just be careful....God bless you!

The park is awesome but the people running the league is unpleasant and rude. They tried to disqualify the us for the game because we were 2 minutes late to turn in our batting roster. Why didnt they announce that we needed it to turn in? It felt they were trying to just get it over with and rushing us.

Er
Review №77

Once this was a beautiful park, it is dedicated to preserving the wildlife in Arizona. I love coming here to just have a quick lunch at one of the benches or take a hike down one of the trails. You can see many of the trail heads from the entrance and they are safe short walls for all ages to venture. I have seen blue birds and cardinals, chipmunk, lizards, coyotes, and mountain lions at this park in the last year that Ive been living here.People will bring their friends and families and play sporting games and picnic out here throughout the year. I dont think we bother the animals at all and we leave them alone and watch them and learn from them. I do think that the city could stand to restore parts of the trails like the bird sanctuary for example. That would earn a 5 star rating!

Lincoln Park was first made when I was young teen and now I get to take my young son and fur baby there to enjoy the usual quiet outdoors, although the park has gone downhill over the years due to punks trashing the playground equipment so theres little left for my son to play on, also it seems its a great place for punks to hide out & smoke weed as well as couples gettingbusy in their car. Regardless I still take my kids there but I keep them far away of all the riff raff.
