Signage was great. No restrooms. We took the yetman trail and went off a bit to find the painted cave. Very much worth it. We also got to see the stone house. Trail winds over a very sandy wash.

Very nice trails as long as its not too hot. This trail goes back to whats left of an old cabin and then branches out to other trails. You can even go around the mountain to the Marriott Star Pass

If you find this review useful please like it thank you.Ive used this Trailhead for many hikes but this is the closest to get to the Bowen Stone House bring water it can be warm even in the cool months and please pack out what you take in. The history of this place is very interesting I can only imagine back in that time dress like their dress and living there incredible.

The trail is very well kept and litter is non existent. I ventured to the Stone house, that i found it and its history amazing. If your a trail hiker in the beautiful surrounding foothills of lovely Tucson, you will be pleased with the panoramic views.

Very low impact trail and a short walk down towards the stone house. The trail changes names about half way but just keep straight. Was very beautiful and a quick getaway. Be weary of the drive up to the parking lot...lots of potholes.

Trail head has limited parking not suitable for pickups or larger depending on whether the lot is full, @10 spaces. Very hard to get in or out of the spaces when packed. The hiking is phenomenal in here. Very healthy cactus and plants, some wildlife can be seen such as deer, javelina, bobcat, and coyotes.I use a variety of free apps to keep me on the trail loops I want to be on, especially lesser ones easily missed. Maps.me (quick & clear location), Alltrails (distance in between intersections), US Topo Maps (tracking total hike) are my go to apps. Some of the lesser trails also beg for good boots to deal with loose rock on steep ups or downs such as seen on the Stonehouse trail. Others like Yetman can be done in t-shoes.Were full time hiking RVrs, blog link in bio.

It is a nice trail, gorgeous scenery and often not too many people are on it. There are a lot of other tails that connect to it.

Beautiful trail, short hike! Great for beginners or someone with sickness or walking impairment... no it’s NOT paved. But it’s short enough that you can hike slower and still achieve something beautiful.

We recently took a full moon hike (4 miles) from this trailhead. The desert was beautiful and we enjoyed the old stone house in the eerie glow. One of the highlights was climbing to a ridge and looking out over metropolitan Tucson to the east (lights, lights, lights) and the dark Sonoran desert to the west. Beautiful!

One of several Tucson Mountain Park entrances to the Yetman trail. Unpaved parking and no facilities. Bring plenty of drinking water for everyone in your group. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed in the park. You risk getting a ticket if you decide to take your dog on the trail with you.
