I never knew that this nice park with amazing views is so near to my place. It is fun to visit this park on a nice sunny weekend specially in spring season when flowers are blooming, and river is full of water (to have good waterfall view). We did sky-ride too and was able to see riverfront from a good height. Also came to know about the history of Spokane river and how it evolved into a hydro plant.
Spectacular views. The water was flowing fast and hard during our visit. Quite amazing the power of water. I enjoyed the history of the area and the walking trails as well. Well done Spokane.
Just amazing experience views are breathtaking zip line is highly recommended. Very relaxing place. Good time to reflect on life. Water flow sound has such soothing effect.
Beautiful place with great views.!! My family and I make it part of our walk everytime we visit Riverfront Park. We love to sit on a bench and enjoy the water rushing by. its kinda soothing, yet intense at the same time. It also keeps getting better every year due to some renovations. I recommend going on the Skyride for an added experience of the river. Great place to visit.
Fun park to walk and enjoy the outside and watch the falls.
Nice park. Could really be considered part of Riverfront more than a separate park.
I love the Skyline view and the water fall is beautiful!
This is great place to check out the river. It small and whenever I go its not too crowded. It is very picturesque.
Beautiful place to visit! The tram rides were awesome!
We took the gondola ride over the Spokane Falls. Was a fun relaxing time.
Magnificent nature matched by carefully cultivated pristine park with cut grass and tableside.
Beautiful park hidden down by the river.
We got lightly sprayed by fresh water from the Falls while we were walking through this park yesterday. Its neat to read the placards and feel the rush of the rivers power while enjoying sunshine & good company.
We parked at the Convention Center, next to the Doubletree Hotel, and walked to this park. The walk is easy but there are probably 50 stairs down to the park and the falls. It is an effort to walk back up the stairs. Beautiful views of the river and the falls. This Park gets you so close to the lower Spokane Waterfalls. I could almost touch the water! We got sprayed! I loved the whole view. I could see the two bridges and the upper waterfalls in the distance. The Cheif Sculpture is fantastic up close. The sound was so loud. HIghly recommend!!
Gorgeous view of the falls, in some spots you can catch a good bit of mist from them near the bottom, but make sure you rest a bit, because the hike back up to street level can be a doozy!
Beautiful park with nice trails all the way to the riverbank.
Really breath taking during spring runoff
Beautiful scenic use of river and surrounding Valley just gorgeous
Nice view of dam and falls. Informational about dam.
Beautiful park... :)
A fabulous location to have some great views of the falls get some scenic pics of the falls and the Spokane river. With many location vantage points for photo opportunities this park is worth the visit and I really would not miss if you are in the area walking around downtown and/or near the River front area. There are seating locations that allow for a relaxing opportunity and multilevels that give you different viewing vantage points of the Spokane river and falls.
I have been down to Huntington Park many times since its grand opening on May 2, 2014. The view is breathtaking and you can see the falls from about 3 feet away if you walk all the way to the bottom and you can also see the Monroe Street Bridge from about 150 feet away. Definitely recommended if you are in great physical shape.
The waterfall in the spring is gorgeous.
A great place to visit.
Conveniently located across the street from River Front Park and River Park Square, sits this somewhat hidden gem of Spokane. Huntington Park offers scenic views of the Spokane Falls and the Historical Monroe Bridge, it also is a great place to relax and have a picnic. This park was gifted to the City of Spokane from Avista Power Company. The main downside of this park, as others have pointed out, is the limited handicap accessibility, it does however offer an accessible overlook of the park.
Again more history
One of the best parts of Spokane.
This is a somewhat unknown jewels of a small park, with the best, up close view of the lower falls. Be sure to walk all the way down to the bottom of the stairs for the best views and cool sculptures.
Peaceful, beautiful ambience!
Beautiful makeover, Spokane!
Not handicap accessible.
Love the falls, the quaint small park, clean, family oriented, beautiful views
Beautiful
Nice smaller park, nicely landscaped, rich in area history. Great views!
Beautiful little park with great views of the falls! I nice place to sit and relax or get some cardio action on the stairs. Very limited handicap access due to the topography.
Enjoyed the Sky Ride over the waterfall
Awesome park downtown. Spring is the best time to go as the falls are really flowing.
We loved it.
