Calm and peaceful, as always. Never too many people. A great place to go to clear your head. The hiking trails in back offer tons of privacy.
Centrally located park in a safe, mature neighborhood near Whitworth U. The park has an adjacent area retained in its natural state with nice running and walking trails.Nice park for sure
Awesome park great location and plenty of hiking trails to walk it out. The scenery is A+.
This whole area is beautiful. There are walking trails up behind the park as well.
Love this park, lots of unpathed woods and a pavilion.Be cautious here at night, shady people sometimes come around, but mostly just college kids smoking weed
Small slice of parks available in Spokane. Miles of trails behind the park in the preserve.
It was nice, just was expecting more for the little kids
Nice place for kids to play or to go for a hike.
Enjoyed social distancing in pleasant surroundings with 2 friends.
A great place to take ones kids
Nice park! But I was more interested in the hiking trails right above the park to the west Lots of nice trails.
Clean parkBack hillside nice place to hike or walkKids play area is modern
Fun place to run the RC cars
New play structure with a disk swing and rock climbing wall. There is also a city pool at the park but it is closed due to COVID.
Nice, but no trash cans at all
It a nice mellow park and it has some hiking trails
A good place for a quiet day.
Huge spacious beautiful
Large enough that schools can use it for cross country, its is also an eyesore since the pool closed. I give it four stars though because of the multiple use of the park-- families can use one of the shelters for picnics, there are kids toys, there is a softball field-- even four poke stops if you are into the while Pokemon Go thing. There has been some vandalism there, so that could be something to keep an eye on . . .
They replaced the old curly slide play structure with a new saferplay structure. Its a bummer it because it was our favorite park and perfect the way it was!
The park is beautiful, especially this time of year. We were visiting friends next to the park. The neighborhood is fortunate to have such a well maintained park. Lots of parking too. Thankyou.
Cool place 2 chill
Chill park to hangout with some friends and smash on Pokémon Go! Not ghetto at all and the there is a decent play ground so your children can do something while you’re destroying on Pokémon Go. Would recommend!
Its a nice place for sledding. But not one trash can to be found. We also stepped in poop which hadnt been picked up. Probably due to lack of trash cans.
Small playground with plenty of running space for activities with the kids
Great place to picnic
This large Park has a lot to offer and a great place to bbq, with a splash pad and much more.
Great place for kids to play
Hiking is ok but not very many trails. Park looked very nice
Its family friendly and a fun place to hang out
Grand kids loved running around playing on the slides, nice shaded areas to hang out in
Great place to take the dog and get a good walk.
Nice park. Has a wheelchair accessible restroom by the old pool. Dont come expecting to swim, the pool has been closed for several years. Has a little patio/gazebo available as well as a tennis court and basketball hoop. Right behind it is the Holmberg conservation area.
Nobody was there....
Sledding was nice but I dont think the neighbors liked us being there or some one in the neighborhood was just being a jerk because 15 minutes into having fun a silver bmw drove up to our truck and broke out our window and then sped off so that cut the fun short
Good sledding hills
In the spirit of transparency I dont know that Ive ever actually been here. The picture seems nice though, and a quick Google search should tell you its in a nicer area of what I would assume to be Spokane. I say go for it you deserve a picnic.
From my experience, this is a hidden gem! I explored the area a bit today and found it was exceptionally lovely for a date. We played tennis, hiked up some of the trails and had a picnic at the top. The views are beautiful and nature is invigorating. The pictures dont do them justice. Perhaps the tennis courts could use a touch of weed control in the cracks and Im not sure about the pool situation, perhaps that should go entirely if it is not in use. The park is kept up and looks nice. Will be back for sure!
It’s great, small roomy
This is a great family park, very clean and beautiful.
Nice park...dusty ballfield.
Good baseball field and play area for children.
Very nice small park.
Has a very nice trail that leads up into the Hills you cant get in touch with wilderness and still safe in clusters town. A nice place for a visit
Very nice park, very clean. But the swimming pool should be fixed and opened. Had a Great time!
They just removed the older play sets that were awesome with new cheap plastic ones that are a fraction of the size
Just breathe, ya know?
#Letsguide. There is a large rock tucked up in the hills that you can climb up to and get a spectacular view of North Spokane. My family calls it the viewing rock. You will know you found it because the last part of the climb up is a steep trail and will give your legs a good workout. You can use the trees going up to rest on if you need to take a break.
Winter is great as a sledding hill for the kids. Baseball and picnics in the summer
Its a nice little park that the kids will enjoy. Its also a really good place to go running due to the trails and hills, although you cant go with a stroller unless its pretty rugged.
Great big park. Theres a lot of open space away from the kids part. Theres a ball field and I think I saw a pool but it wasnt open.
Great open fields for baseball and soccer or playing, playground, large shady trees, picnic tables in the front of the park, and trails for hiking in the back of the park, up the hill. The pool is closed.
Great park. Used to have a really nice pool also. I like hiking the trails above the park in the summer. They go up five mile hill and you can actually hike to the top over a water tower to see a really nice view of North Spokane.
Great place for sledding
Always clean and safe
Very nice park.
Great place to go snow sledding.
Not a bad place for a quick walk on the trails behind the park.
It was ok
This is a great park all around! Great hiking spot and outdoor fun all year round!
A very quiet Park.
No crackheads like all the other parks in Spokane.
Always have love the place except they need to start using the swimming pool again in the summer. The people are friendly as are the pets.
Great sledding!
It looked good from where I was working people looked like they were having fun while I worked my but off on the 4th
You can rent the gazebo for 50$ just dont forget your permit cuzz you may need to kick some folks out. Worth it for a couple hours on a nice day.
A lot of steep paths but really nice views
Lots of sledding to be had. Lots of room for the kids to run. And even some hiking trails.
Peaceful park love it
Wish the toys were appropriate for all ages
Good size for playing soccer, baseball etc there is a nice hiking course
Picnic pavillion, baseball, swings and climbing gym in large grassy space with plenty of shade. Pool is very nice with good parking. Along busy Wall Street but park noise makes cars hard to hear.
The play equipment isnt very fun for kids especially younger kids
It small but it have a playground that what matters
Nice and clean
A great place to park.
Nice place
Walking up five mile ridge, approximately 1-2 miles of east facing trails. Large play equipment and lots of grass and trees. Pool but not certain it gets usage.
Its a quaint little park. It has a lot of area to play football or games. It has tables to picnic with and a small play set.
Great park
Many trails. And great views. I would avoid this palce
Good place to go sledding when it snows a lot
Parks are beautiful
Nice park with good trails and a good view!
Great hike

Awesome view, but i still have to climb to the top
There are wonderful sledding hills here.
This is a big park that is pet friendly it changes with the seasons i like it because its natural and quiet.
Nice medium sized Park. Not incredibly exciting in the summer but is an absolute blast to sled in the winter.
Great trails above and behind the park.
