Monroe Street Bridge. Pretty amazing downtown Bridge. For pedestrians in cars. Great view of the river and some waterfalls. Good interpretive signs.
I was born in Spokane. I visit the bridge weekly at least. The Spokane river falls rush under this bridge from February to October. The Winter is low flow but still Impressive. Spokane was one of the first cities to have electric street lights powered by the hydro electric plant just above the falls. The plant can be seen from Post street near River Front Park.
Traffic sucks takes a half hour minimum to go 10 miles
The Monroe Street Bridge allows one to start on the south side of the Spokane River and walk east on trails that lead to nice views from different spots on the river. You can connect up and walk on other bridges going north and then heading west and walking the Monroe Street Bridge from this side heading south. Nice views on both sides of the bridge. To the west down the falls and to the east up river towards downtown Spokane,
A great place to watch & listen to the majestic Downtown Spokane River Falls.
Terrible service, I stood there waiting for a table for an hour but no waiter came to greet me. Ended up just jumping over the railing to get my own drink
Its a good bridge. Gets you from one side of the the river to the other, and doesnt even charge for its services.
Its a nice calm soothing place you just need to collect your thoughts. Or just stop and take notice to Mother Nature although manipulated by man but to take notice to how powerful she really is. Without her we would all perish and die. How sad it is to see one person manipulate Mother Nature and capitalized on it. And another man can not capitalize on what he has been given manipulate. I guess thats their Civil Right I dont want to give him any ideas but since Im an asthmatic I should be worried about when theyre going to start taxing the air. Despite the fact of all the pollutants methane and cancer-causing elements that are in it. Today stop take notice to the small things the birds the squirrel the few bugs that you may see left and even the damn crows cuz I know we dont pay attention to the less fortunate of our fellow man.
Gorgeous historic bridge

Stunning views of the falls and the river. Walk on the centennial trail under the north side of the bridge for additional views of this impressive structure.
Out of anywhere in Spokane The View here is the best and the surrounding areas are amazing
Beautiful architecture and incredibly cool views.Traffic sucks recently.
I was a child crossing this bridge
Great view!
The view from atop of the bridge is amazing!
Drivin across it many times
The only bridge over the river in Spokane thats not on the verge of collapsing.
Great place to hangout or jump off of
The Lower Falls and Monroe Street bridge are two of the signature views in downtown Spokane. Not to be missed, especially in the spring for the river flows and fall for the colors.
Its a bridge. Does bridge things very well. Took off a star because it doesnt really try to get out of its comfort zone.
