This is a beautiful urban park that spans several city blocks. Many varieties of trees promote a feeling of being in the forest, especially at night when the surrounding neighborhood is dimmed. Durring the day the park is bustling with activity. Theres a great playground, splashpad, basketball court, lots of grassy area for lawn games, drinking fountain and bathrooms. Plus, theres tons of organized activities like yoga in the park, concerts, etc. We walk the 9 blocks to this park almost daily. Highly recommend.

Will decrease blood pressure by 20 points. Tranquil with trees - lots of trees - two play grounds, lots of well placed picnic tables, and adequate rest rooms. A strategically placed power supply for events. Best info board of all the area parks.

Lots of grass area, plenty of shade from the many trees there. Play area for children is well maintained and looks like a lot of fun. The only downside I. saw was a lack of tables, if not for that oversight this park would rate five stars.o

Older style playground at the lower park and a newer playground up above a the elementary school. We love running through all the huge pine trees and climbing the old stone hearth. This is a great park to see dragonflies and honey bees in the clover. It does have one drinking fountain open (even now with covid)

Super beautiful, large space with lots of trees and shade. Cute splash pad for the kids, and great play space for both little and big kids. Swings. Parking is just a little difficult. There is a small parking lot on the west side of the park, but no paved path from the lot to the play areas. If you want something paved, probably better to park on the street on the east side of the park since he path there is paved. One of the bonuses at this park is that the Finch Elementary playground is just up the hill. While we love the play structures there (and the play area for younger kids is fenced! Woohoo!) there is almost no shade so that is a huge bummer in the summer. But, at least there can be some variety so you can keep the kids entertained for several hours at this park.

Audubon Park is a great example of Spokane parks. A snippet of outdoors surrounded by civilization. I particularly enjoy this park, because it happens to have a large density of very tall trees. Maintenance keeps up the grounds so it creates this peaceful minimal atmosphere while also providing playing areas and a splash pad for the kids. Great place, check it out!

Splash pad. Its up against an elementary school and the space is cool and comfortable. The playground is always full of kids and the neighborhood is very family oriented. The ramp for wheelchair access is on the east side of the park with concrete pathways. Strangely the paths are not connected to the parking lot to the west side.

We walked the entire length of Magazine Street to Audubon Park and enjoyed a very relaxing and restful two hours in that park. During our stay, there were many people walking up and down the park, but the park is so large that it offered a lot of privacy for relaxation. Most memorable are the giant oak trees and the small island in the pond which is a refuge for many water birds.

Its a great place for you take the children and have a picnic or just let them burn off some energy. Its dog friendly as well, just keep them leashed and pick up after they mess to help keep it dog friendly. Theres plenty of picnic tables and trash bins for birthday parties as well.
