I enjoyed a few hours walking around the Riverfront Park. There is a great deal of construction going on and because of the poor air quality, do to recent forest fire activity, there were very few people around. Also noted that many of the shops in this once vibrant area have closed. Sadly, there is also much evidence of the homelessness that plagues many communities. I also found most of the park restrooms were closed and the portables that were available have not been well tended and lacked hand sanitizer. For all of this the park is still beautiful and the falls are amazing.

This parks beautiful waterfront setting and manicured lawns are an amazing addition to the city or Spokane. We loved every minute of our time at the waterfront and had an awesome time with our friend Devon as our photographer. The icing on the cake however was the light reflecting off of my wifes earing as the final rays of sun winked out over the water.

This is a fantastic new childrens park. Im blown away. The designers and construction made it enchanting. Lots of bells and sounds. The boat rocks . The ground is like walking on the moon. Its a whole body mind and spirit kinda place. Man I wish we had a park like this when I was a kid. Thank you to all the workers renovating to riverfront park. Come check it out. Parts are opening up all over the park.

Amazing sites and places to see and night time walks are awesome! The: River, Garbage Goat, Sky Ride Gondolas, Clock Tower, Big Red Wagon Slide, and the Waterfalls. Would say Carousel also but it was closed due to Covid. The Sky Ride has an truly amazing restaurant right as you enter to get a ticket. The food is extremely tasty and the staff friendly.

Absolutely worth the visit. Be sure to ride the gondolas over the falls. Prepare for at least a two hour stroll around the park and in the old flour mill. Locate parking prior to arriving to be sure you park close to your desired location as there is parking around the entire perimeter but hard to find.

I LOVE our Riverfront park! It is what attracted me to Spokane in the first place. This park is always full of beauty and surprises. Every time I walk through it I find something new to explore. I love seeing the people of Spokane enjoying the park with their friends, pets and families. The artful installations are a joy to look at and the sunsets here are some of the moat beautiful Ive seen.

A great little park in the heart of Spokane. Good sized trails for biking and walking and gorgeous views of the water from a plethora of bridges spanning to both sides. There’s a carousel, a conical light structure, and a giant red wagon to see while wandering through. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 is because it’s actually kinda small.

Nice area in which to walk around. I also enjoyed watching the skateboarders, although Im not sure they were actually supposed to be skateboarding there, lol. Be sure to checkout the Pavillion and the carousel at night. Theyre beautiful. Also, checkout the Before I die, I want to... wall. Many of the wishes are typical and timeless, travel, love, end war, etc. Others are expected, like getting rid of Trump. Yet others are rather sad like wanting to hug ones grandchild. Its an interesting look into our times.

Riverfront park is on the site of Expo 74 and is on the edge of the downtown core close to numerous hotels. It could have easily been built up into more city at the end of the Expo but some foresight made this into one of the most delightful downtown areas I have ever seen. Encompassing one bank of the river and two islands it is accessible by foot (and scooters) only with numerous bridges connecting all. Portions of the falls are visible and a gondola ride can take you over the falls and a pretty good view of the river. Plenty of benches are available as well as a splash area, carousel, and skate track. A couple pubs are next to the park with outdoor seating available. ODohertys Irish Grill is kid friendly so a day or afternoon can easily be had for fun and food. Neat, very clean, and everything reasonably priced when there is a cost.

This beautifully outlaid park has so much to offer. Set in the downtown you are also able to walk and see many of the unique shops Spokane has to offer Theres alot of good parking depending on when you go. A foot path instantly leads you to the bridge to see the waterfalls and river. They have a light show at night and many more things to see than I have listed. There is an antique carousel that is gorgeous the cost was only$4.00. There is also a restaurant with wonderful seating to relax and enjoy the river. This needs to be on your list to visit if you come to Spokane!

My favorite place to walk, and it is three minutes away from where I live. I love walking along the river where the State Centennial Trail runs through downtown Spokane. The wide walkways are well kept and make it easy for those of us who have difficulty walking. Walkers and wheelchairs will easily manage the route that follows the river. Deeper into the park some of the walkways maybe too much for some, in terms of steepness, but there is usually an alternative route that can be taken.Riverfront Park is situated at he former site of Expo74, whose Imax Theater has been stripped down to its exterior shell, renamed Riverfront Park Pavilion and is now a grand light art piece after dark. There are places to pause and appreciate the flora and fauna. If you must feed the ducks, please feed them peas, bread is not good for them. It is a wonderful place to enjoy nature, sunlight filtered by trees, the sounds of water fowl splashing in the languid river. The old Depot clock tower is a reminder of times gone by, and a great photo opportunity from many angles. Across the river from the clock tower is one of Spokanes treasures, the Carousel, restored from Natitorium Park, which was once a zoo and amusement park. I have fond memories of riding the Carousel at Nat Park and trying to get the gold ring. There are also cable cars for hire which permit views of the river and Spokane Falls. There are many things to see and experience at Spokanes Riverfront Park. Discover them for yourself.

This park is so beautiful. On a recent trip to Spokane I visited this park to do some bird photography and got lucky with the Sparrows and Wigeons (ducks). This park truly has something for everyone .. walking trails, a pavilion with mesmerizing light shows, ice skating rink (roller skating during summer months), beautiful views of upper Spokane Falls, a gondola ride that takes you right over the falls, a big red wagon with a slide, a carousel and a clock tower. An amazingly beautiful park. A great place to gather with friends and family for a multitude of events including concerts, feeding the ducks, riding the carousel, playing in the fountain, going on the gondola, and many more. In the heart of downtown Spokane just a few short steps from shopping all around. The parks always will maintain Grass is always mowed and I dont think theres anything bad I can say about the park to be honest. Recently being remodeled and looks great. Riverfront Park has improved so much in the last few years. Unfortunately, not everyone walking there was wearing masks but we went with masks and our own pastries and hot drinks early in the morning to enjoy some fresh air, a walk, and a little picnic.
